I’ve never used bar shampoo & Conditioner before but I don’t think I’ll ever use liquid again. I couldn’t buy just one bar of soap they were all so beautiful and had such unique fragrances. It was so exciting to get a sample bag and be able to share them with family who will want to visit for their own soaps now!!

I love this business so much, they have such amazing smelling soaps and body care. I spent quite a bit of money getting gifts for family and am super excited to share them. This company's deodorant is also the only one I can use as other brands give me rashes and chemical burns. Love you Glitz!

Glitz has the best body products around! There are so many great scents and I love the product variety. I feel good about using homemade products (for the price of big box stores) and I love that it is local and I know where it all comes from.

Tonight was my second time ever visiting a Glitz location, both times I visited Mechanicsburg. Tonight I stopped in around 6:15 to grab a last minute Christmas gift, I purchased 6 items total. I asked the girl at checkout for a gift box, she replied “we don’t have anymore crinkle paper left and we only have 1 gift box left” .. I was never asked if I still wanted the gift box, nor was I offered it. There’s signs all around the store saying “ask us for a gift box”…Also, I get the store closes at 7PM but it’s a little rude to hear both girls behind the counter when I was checking out saying “gosh, it’s just never ending” .. talking about the amount of customers coming into the store. It definitely made me feel unwelcome and like I was a bother.

I love Glitz. I regularly use their shampoo as I try to cut back on plastic and they have lots of other fun, non-necessary things for bath and home. Great place to buy gifts, even for people who don’t like “smells”.

I recently decided to try and reduce my plastic use, and figured shampoo bars would be a good start. After being very disappointed by the ones sold at Target which were individually wrapped in plastic, I chose to pay Glitz a visit. It was down the street from a job site I was working on so it was very convenient location-wise. The inside was gorgeous, the employees were super kind, and the selection was enormous. I purchased four shampoo bars, three of which will be gifts to family members. The fourth was for me. I used it on my hair today and was so impressed! You hardly need to use any to get a crazy good lather. And it leaves my thick, uncontrollable hair nice and smooth. Depending on the bar you get, your hair will have a pleasant smell after. And the conditioner bars make my hair super soft as well!I'm so happy I found Glitz, not only because it's better for the environment, but also because I'd much rather buy from a local place than a big store like Target. I'll definitely be using these from now on. Thank you, Glitz Soap Company!UPDATE:I just wanted to add that these shampoo bars get an insane amount of lather. I barely have to swipe it through my hair to get a good clean. I'm going out of town for a couple months and will definitely be taking these with me. Also my sisters loved the scents of the ones I gave them for Christmas.The soap bars are lovely. Only thing I will say is that if you get a soap bar with black in it, your fiberglass tub/shower will start to look dirty. But it washes away easily with a little scrubbing. I've given bars as gifts and they always get good reviews.

I love everything this place makes! Love the owners they are great people. I've been trying to eliminate plastic in my home and this place helps with that a bunch. I get my hair professionally dyed and my hair dresser said my hair has never been cleaner since starting to use Glitz shampoo and conditioner bars

This shop is the sweetest! The variety of soaps and accessories blew my mind. We contacted them for a Valentine's Day event we were having for our clients that are widows and widowers. They we more than happy to help us with purchasing the soaps we needed for favors. If you haven't visited this shop, go now! Highy reccommended!

i love glitz! my favorite place to buy handmade soaps. i LOVE that everything is vegan/cruelty free. they have so much selection, from hand soaps, to beard balms! the staff is incredibly kind and the store is always very clean. i’m always so thrilled with the products i get from here and everything smells so good. the halloween products are also so adorable.

My daughter and I love this place!! We love the homemade products (where we can read the labels and know what the ingredients are)!! We are thrilled with everything we have bought (the photo is just a sampling of things we've bought)! We both have very sensitive skin and eczema. We have had zero issues with anything we have bought here!!Everyone working there is super friendly and helpful if you have any questions!! Love supporting our hometown business too!! I loved Glitz very first location when it was further down Main street. - Super cute and quaint. I feel like overtime it became less intimate and more "distant". Overall, all of the scents are great and the staff is always so kind. and OMG the aesthetic of this place is amazing!!

A gorgeous little store with friendly, smiling staff. The selection is amazing and I love the colors and the fun, original names on products. I was happy to see I can purchase toothpaste tabs in bulk and buying more products locally helps my goal of reducing shipping and packaging waste. Everything they make and sell is in minimal packaging and high quality and make fantastic gifts.

We loved this little purple shop. The setup inside is amazing with lots of choices for soaps, bath bombs, lotions, etc. They even had a table for our furry friends. Atmosphere is appealing and staff super friendly and helpful. We purchased gift items this time around and some paw cream for our puppy, but we'll be back soon to indulge on ourselves. We love supporting local businesses and this one is extra special.

I’ve been a loyal customer since October 2020 and will remain so as long as Glitz is still in business!!! The shampoo and conditioner bars are as amazing as all the reviews say and they last too! My first conditioner bar lasted me 6 months. The soaps smell great, the lotions and body butter work amazingly, and the employees are so friendly at check out. I recommend to all my friends and family because this place ROCKS

The staff at Glitz Soap Co. are friendly and knowledgeable about their products. The store is beautifully organized and easy to navigate. I purchased a shampoo and conditioner bar as well as a soap bar all in the cherry almond scent. They smell amazing and lather with little effort. I love that you have the option to purchase your items without packaging. I would highly recommend this store to anyone who is looking to go the eco-friendly route and try some locally crafted bath and body products. I will certainly be visiting again!

I don't think I could pick just one thing to be my favorite. But having allergies and sensitive skin, I can say being able to shop someone where for all my skin care and hair needs is amazing. Finding somewhere that has safely scented items that don't bother my skin is even better ! My family and friends have grown to love the products, especially the bath bombs and shampoo bars !

Purchased several different items from this cute little store. The glow stick for my cheeks and lips is my favorite item. The pet shampoo smells amazing and lathers really nice. The lip butter is incredible. Be aware that the darker soap bars will bleed out and make your tub/shower look really dirty. It doesnt stain so its not a huge deal but I did have to clean more frequently. These items make good gifts!

I wanted to start buying bar soap to cut down on plastic waste, and I was not disappointed at Glitz! They had a great selection of soaps, as well as other skincare products - scrubs, bath bombs, lotions, lip balm, and more! I got the oatmeal and coconut soap and I love it! It makes my skin feel soft and clean. I highly recommend this shop!

I've tried quite a few products from Glitz (shampoo & conditioner bars, soap bars, toner, lip butter), and I'm always blown away by their quality and performance in all aspects. I love that all of the ingredients are vegan and cruelty free. I've bought 5 different soaps and each one smells absolutely incredible and they are all super moisturizing as well. I would highly recommend trying any of Glitz's many products.

Love at first sight! More appropriately, love at first scent. Not only is the atmosphere instantly relaxing, but everything smells amazing! Truly reasonably priced. The products I have used so far (self-mixed bath salts, moisturizer bar, bar soap, temple rub… I could go on forever about the temple run!) have been high quality. If you haven’t gone here, fix that.Again, the temple rub…. Get the temple rub.

I am sorry for only giving 4 stars. I do give the staff and store 5 stars every day. My 4 star rating is due to the change in their Cherry Almond scents. It was my favorite and I shop their because of that scent alone. I live in San Diego and visit my daughter a couple of times a year and the one thing I always plan to do is go to Glitz to refill my Cherry Almond lotion and scrub. I was just there and went right home to use it and was extremely disappointed when the scent was no longer the amazing Cherry Almond but more floral. I have even ordered a couple of times online. Sadly I won't be running or ordering on line any longer because the Cherry Almond is no longer even close to the amazing scent it was previously.This is not to take away from the amazing staff they get 5 stars in my book.

An excellent way to shop local, get handmade soaps, shampoo and conditioner bars, and many other items. This would be the first time that my wife and I have raved about soap and shampoo. I use the shampoo and conditioner for my hair and beard (charcoal without the chemical smell). There are many other items within their store and they even ship their products. I would recommend checking out their store or website. I think these products are better than what you can find on other online sellers.
