This place really has a lots of beautiful plants and a lot of variety. I didn’t see any really out of country plants but makes sense it’s central Pennsylvania. The customer service was very good. Knowledgeable. They have food in the back like sandwiches and some German kinda food too.

Such a fun and enjoyable place to visit! Healthy plants, shrubs, perennials, annuals, houseplants..the works! Beautiful pots, garden tools, seed packets, a beautiful array of trinkets and gifts in the store, and even baked goods. Definitely a fun trip.

Love going here!!! They always have a huge selection of house plants . I don't have outside space, so I never look at the bushes, trees, or shrubs, but they have them! I love checking out the grocery side of the store, too. Today, I picked up watermelon, 2 pints of plums, a brownie, and a Kutztown 🍇 soda!

Such neat decorations, gift items, flower arrangements, wreaths, etc. Food items are different and fun to try! The various plants and flowers are so beautiful and interesting! They have live bunnies and cats to visit, too which makes it fun for kids (and adults too 😉)

Cute little greenhouse and store. They have just about everything from fresh baked goodies to flower pots! The staff are very friendly and there is plenty for kiddos to do while mom and dad shop. For the kids they have parakeets to observe, a fish pond, dirt to play in, and even a couple of bunnies to watch. My daughters loved it all! They also have a wide variety of home decor and clothing. The cafe is reasonably priced and you won’t pay an arm and a leg for some tasty stuff!

Very nice green house and store. Very large, with indoor and outdoor sections. Large parking lot. Special events held throughout the year. Many different areas inside to shop around for items other than plants and flowers. Always friendly and helpful staff. You can shop for clothing items, food, and even wine. Definitely worth stopping if you are in the area or in need of good plants and flowers.

Great selection of trees and plants. The personnel are helpful and knowledgeable. The ice cream and baked goods are outstanding, and there are lots of places to sit in the shade as well.

Great place for all variety of houseplants, home goods, and outdoor plants! They have a good selection of common houseplants but also keep a rotating variety of rare plants.They have a huge selection of ceramic pots, soil ammendments, staking supplies, and anything else you might need.If you buy a plant and a pot they will even repot it for free!

Beautiful plants, great selection and friendly staff. Hectic in spring as any garden store is but checkout lines moved steadily. Found a couple of native perennials I was looking for ( they are across the street now) but no line at that check out. Have a new water garden/pond Dept with a nice selection of pond fish and criiters but have to checkout these items separately ( not so convenient) vegetable and annual plants looked great and the selection was way more than I needed.

The Fall and Halloween layout for kids is really neat. There is a small enter free that is worth at least one visit. Our boys had fun playing at the various stations, bouncing in the bubble suit, and just enjoying some family time. A couple of hours who wear out the kids and have you ready for dinner or bed time.

It's been a very long time since I've been to Ashcombe's. I did not remember the broad selections of flowers, vegetables and spices. It is a very diverse selection of live stock and accompanying tools to help in the garden. There were many staff members working in the greenhouses that could assist with customer questions. Update: I learned that customers over the age of 55 received a 10 percent discount on Tuesdays.

Been here two or three times and it's much better during Spring-Fall period. During Winter, the selection is somewhat limited. Picked up some local jams, easter chocolates and natural peanut butter. The ice creamery and restaurant are open.A lot of the outdoor plants have been moved across the street, next to the parking lot. That's where the larger shrubs & trees are located.

Some things can be a bit pricey, but the selection is wonderful. All the plants are healthy and beautiful. A wide selection of plants and some are very unique. The staff is wonderful and so helpful.

One of the best place for all sort of gardening Both indoor and out door. So much stuff to pick from. I really loved buying all sort of tools, plants and much more from here. It is the only place where I got all sort of things that I was looking for. Prices are reasonable and staff is the greatest. I loved everything that they were offering. I personally loved it. My sons gave me gift cards to Ashcombe’s and the one for $200 was never activated. Therefore I couldn’t use and was embarrassed by people standing behind me since I was holding them up. Long story short I had to put on my credit card. After a week of dealing with them and not getting any responses, I went there. I got the song and dance like , oh we were just going to call you. This happened on Mother's Day and just got it done on the 24 of May. I will not be going there again and neither will my sons. If I knew a higher up I would call. Also I asked for a free plant for all the aggravation and Karen smiled and said it couldn’t be done!!! There are also a lot cheaper and nice nurseries around!!!

Loved going here this last weekend. Super huge selection and some furry friends along the way. The only thing I thought was weird was that at checkout they asked if I was a member, but when I said no they didn't offer to sign me up. Other than that super great! I ended up going home with three new potted plants (definitely take advantage of their potting service if you don't want to get dirt all over your house).

We had a vague idea of what we were looking for in shrubs for a spot on our property and we had the most knowledgeable customer service person help us. She asked lots of good questions, gave us tons of options and information, and we are so pleased with both the experience and also the shrubs we purchased. A totally enjoyable experience.
