Called today and asked if they cut steaks to order, and was told 'Absolutely'. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by super friendly faces. I proceeded to the counter and asked for 3 1 pound NY Strips. The first cut was eyeballed, and was 1.01 lbs. HE EYEBALLED IT!! I was beyond impressed!!The other 2 were also spot on!! Not only were the steaks ABSOLUTELY amazing, but the staff was fantastic!!!! I will most certainly be returning!!! I gave 5 stars, only because I couldn't give more!!!!You guys are awesome!!!!

Went to Lampert's for the first time on 11/29/23, was passing & purchased a larger order of prepared food for a group of people I was visiting. The people behind the prepared food counter, we lovely and kind.However... the 2 girls at the register were the most surly, rude & the most unpleasant creatures I have come into contact with in years. I will never return to this establishment.Too bad, their food was good & I would have given them a great deal of business. I'm certain, I'm not the first person to report this information, and won't be the last. TERRIBLE!!!

I've stopped in twice for food in the last month and the cashiers both times had sick attitudes. The employees cooking are fine and the food is fine, but the cashiers are completely miserable to interact with.

I often order a grilled chicken salad for lunch from here. Today we tried the club sandwich. It was really good! I would like to add lettuce and tomato next time. I will order again. Also, the homemade chips are a must try!

I’ve been going to Lampert’s for the last 3 years. All I can say is that their food is somewhat okay. Their workers are typically unwelcoming and rude if you aren’t a local. Whoever operates the phone for orders is usually dumbfounded and rude, it’s turned me off from me ordering from them altogether honestly. Hm… oh yeah apparently they don’t sell cold hoagies. Never heard of that one. That’s all.

I love Lampert's so much! I stopped and bought 2 lbs of chicken tenders, linguine salad, macaroni salad and zucchini bake. Came home and seasoned my chicken and breaded and fried it for chicken alfredo. My kids said it's the best chicken they've ever had. It just taste so fresh! I'll never buy from a grocery store again! And can we just talk about the staff! The nicest group of people ❤️ And the sides I purchased, delicious 😋

I live in S. Hills-Lampert’s is worth the drive. Best selections. Best meats! Everything I have ever bought has been excellent cuts. Great sausage-breakfast links, Italian links, or loose-all natural, no fillers. Best chicken salad as well. Great homey feel, small town butcher feel/shop. Just the absolute BEST! ❤️❤️❤️

Usually get a great lunch! This ham sandwich, yes that is real ham, which is baked, was very overdone. Looks like they tried to add juice to the meat. Fyi, burnt meat doesn't absorb liquids, but the bun sure did. Lol. I'm sure the next one will be much better.

Very disappointed in their breakfast sandwiches. I tried all three.( Ham, Bacon annd Sausage ) And they struck out. One was old, possibly from the day before. 🤷‍♂️ one was a giant piece of sausage. (Not breakfast sausage) the last one I got made fresh and they burnt my toast and served it to me anyhow. One star because zero is not an option.

Lampert’s is our go-to place to get burgers, steaks and any other fresh meat. Their burgers in the summer time can’t be beat. Not to mention their broccoli salad, potato salad and chicken salad. Oh, and if you haven’t had their ribs when they have dinners you’re missing out. They also have the best bbq Stu’s bbq sauce! Always friendly too!

Where do I start? The staff and owners are ALWAYS nice and helpful from the moment you step in the door. Their deli carries great tasting lunch meats like Boar's Head, and every type of cheese that you could ever want sliced. Their deli also offers great tasting menu items like their Philly Cheesesteak Hoagie, and don't forget to order one of their featured dinners like the BBQ Babyback Ribs!Then you have the meat counter, where Rick and company will gladly cut your meats to specification and wrap them how you want them. Try the delicious lean ground beef, burger patties, new york strip, kielbasa, paprika bacon, boneless skinless chicken breasts, and more! You can't go wrong at Lampert's Market, it's a community treasure. Great local market! Many unique items and in-house butchered meats and smoked products. I get my father a hand cut Ribeye steak every year for Father's Day and he says it's the best around. Hot food selection is always a good idea for a delicious and easy take home lunch or dinner. Owners are amazing are very involved in the community as well. Give them a try you wont be disappointed!

My first time at this location.I am so glad I made the trip from Pittsburgh. When I walked in the placeIt is …impressively clean..no unpleasant odors from meat cuttings or cleaning supplies(odors make me suspicious food got contaminated).. .The counter glass was so clean, spotless..I explained how I needed a specific cut of meat for a new recipe.The Butcher (owner?) was genuinely happy to accommodate me.Got a bone for my dog!!I don’t mind paying a little extra for the product, the knowledge they shared and the nice feeling of a family owned business ..it’s all well worth my time andMoney... they made my day.

For the best hot sausage, kielbasa and meat you need to go to Lampert’s. We are in an age of large chain and box stores and really don’t know where their meat is from, age, etc. At Lampert’s your meat will always be fresh and cut and trimmed to your specifications.If you are crunched for time or just don’t feel like cooking they offer a great take out menu. I do need to give a shout out to their daily dinners. They have been a life saver. The most requested items from my family are the baby back ribs, city chicken and beer battered fish.If you’re not from the area, take a drive, you will be glad you did. This is a family owned business and we have been going here for 25 plus years. The owners and employees are great. They give back to the community and the community appreciates all they do.

I called in first thing in the morning for a cut of beef I did not place a pick up the guy behind the counter was professional and said I got you, he trimmed my cut perfectly . I am leaving this review out of respect if you want a good cut of meat lamperts all the way . I would call out my other butcher for the same thing but the guy that handled my order today earned my respect I wanted to tip him more but the wife said thats enough .

This is a favorite stop of mine because it reminds me of shopping at the small markets that I was so used to as a kid. I'm certainly no kid now, but I do appreciate the fine quality of the meats they sell here at Lampert's......I can always get my kishka here, and its fresh! All of the sausages are made on site, and I very much appreciate that. Plenty of staff to help the customer traffic, always courteous and FrankPlenty of staff to help the customer traffic, always courteous and friendly. I feel like I get great value for my money spent here. I often recommend this place to friends and family.

Overcharged us $150 over our order. When they refunded us they only refunded $130. When we called them out on this they gave us an attitude and acted like they were doing us a favor. Never coming here again.

Went there last week the first time. The Hungarian sausage was really good. But I bought “fresh” chicken thighs (it did look fresh) - a lot. Put them in the freezer as soon as I came home. Yesterday I transferred it to the fridge and today I opened it… it smells like crazy. Never again will I buy chicken from them. Be careful with their chicken!

Best butcher hands down. We have been buying freezer deals once a month. The meat is fresh and packed to our choosing. Staff there is always friendly and always going out of the way for us. It's worth the drive each month for our meat. Keep up the excellent job. FYI we ordered a prime rib for Christmas and it melted in our mouths!
