My beloved pet rabbit suddenly passed away recently. With no experience with taxidermy, I called a few folks in the area, hoping to have a section of her pelt preserved for fond memory. Most places just said "Sure, yeah, we'll do it." When I called D&H - for free they gave me a detailed consult on what I might expect - including the honesty that, apparently, it's very difficult (if not impossible) to preserve rabbit pelt if the bunny was older than a year (mine was about 5 years)... They were the only place who really wanted me to understand what I was getting into... I would have been heartbroken a second time if I'd just paid someone and the pelt didn't survive preservation. I decided to do a memorial for my pet another way... and I am so glad they empowered and educated me, rather than just take my money! They really seem to care about honesty, quality and good work! I say, call them!

Stopped by the showroom, couldn't resist the antlers in the window. The work is lifelike, impressive and high quality. Almost every animal you could imagine was on display. The owner was very proud of his work. We have told anyone and everyone about this location who would be interested in taxidermy. I would definitely seek out this business if in need of their services.

Just dropped off my buck for the following:- European mount for skull/antlers. They seem to have their own beetles processing facility.- deer hide : happy to see they can do hairless tanning, with a number of different dyes/colors.Staff was friendly. Able to pay with Paypal.Prices are very reasonable and competitive. Looking forward to getting my pieces back.

Great work!! I liked that the employees and owner were really knowledgeable about the animals and their habitats and it seems they try to make each piece perfect. It is really an art. There is also a live crocodile in the showroom (in a tank)... Good experience, interesting and lifelike work.

Great taxidermist with a great personality. I book a lot of hunts and nobody will touch my animals except for Delaware & Hudson taxidermy. I used to work with a taxidermy company so I know great work when I see it!

If you want an animal or fish professionally preserved, presented, mounted, and that makes all of your friends jealous, this is the only place to go. The guys there do a fantastic job and are pleasant to deal with. I highly recommend D & H Taxidermy!
