I take my dog to training classes there and I have nothing but nice things to say about Alleyratz and our trainer, Lisa! Small class sizes, one on one time, lots of patience, positive atmosphere, and a clean facility! My dog, Petey, is a rescue and had issues with meeting new people (especially men), walking on a leash, and lacked basic manners. He has made so many improvements since I starting bringing him to class! I am so proud to have a such better behaved companion! We never would have gotten this far if it wasn’t for Lisa and her positive training methods! We LOVE LOVE LOVE her and Alleyratz!

I am so happy I found Alley Ratz! My dog not only LOVES getting groomed here, but also cries with excitement when he realizes I am turning onto Logan Blvd to attend the 'Pawsitive Pups' training class. I cannot say enough positive things about Roseanne, Kristin, & Lisa. They have always treated my lit'l dog just like one of their own, which makes me feel comfortable knowing he will be spoiled while in their care. My dog has attended the 'Pawsitive pups' training class since the day I rescued him over 2 years ago. He is so well-behaved and well-mannered. I am so grateful to Lisa the trainer for her positive reinforcement and encouragement to help my little guy reach his fullest, sweet potential. Don't EVER second guess your decision to board or take your dog to training here.

We have taken our pups to training at Alley Ratz for a long time now. We have had nothing but great experiences. Our one pups was afraid of so much when we started him almost 2 years ago and because of Lisa’s help, now he does everything we challenge him with.Lisa is always encouraging the handlers to be positive with their pups and reward them for doing a good job. If she feels she needs to intervene to stop a behavior she does so with complete confidence, she is not rude or irrational about it. She has never lost her cool nor has she ever been out of control with any dog or handler.Training at Alley Ratz is wonderful and we have referred several people to Lisa’s classes and will continue to do so.Thank you to Lisa for always providing a positive training environment!!!

Simply put: liars. I took my dog there, who I rescued. I thought that maybe a day could help a bit. He was abandoned by their owners after their house burnt down. But when I went in, he was crying. He had an injury on his back leg, which took 2 weeks to fully heal. I questioned them, and they said that everyone was ok, and I injured my own dog. Disgrace for a Dog Day Care! Take what you wish with this review, but I would rather take my little guy with me than keep him with these people.

My husband and I recently moved to the area and I am so happy I discovered this hidden gem! Alley Ratz has exceeded my wildest expectations on every front. My husband and I move frequently for his work and I have had many experiences with different doggy daycare/boarding facilities all up and down the east coast. Alley Ratz is best in class. By far.Canine care is the passion of Alley Ratz. I say this from my own experience. My dog, Jill, is a handful (she has separation anxiety), and the team at Alley Ratz has really worked hard to create a positive experience for her. While the initial visit was definitely chaotic, every subsequent every visit got a little bit easier. Now, Jill is sooooo excited every time I bring her to Alley Ratz that she drags me to the front door. As a dog owner, this personal experience speaks for itself. The team at Alley Ratz worked independently with Jill to better manage her anxiety and the result is a productive and loving relationship that extends beyond what I would call typical “doggy daycare.” Jill is a different dog (in a good way :)) - she is calmer, more independent and just seems happier… I couldn’t have asked for or be more pleased with Alley Ratz.I use Alley Ratz for everything now - doggy daycare, boarding, grooming and plan to start training sessions in January (I can’t wait)! Thank you Alley Ratz many times over for everything you have done for me and my Jill :)!

My husband and I left our Pomsky here for a week. The owner is a little judgmental and bragged about her own two dogs a lot. When we came back for our dog, the owner yelled at my husband for going to go pick her up. She told him to stop because he's making the other dogs excited, she did this like he was a little kid. She overcharged us, and it took a few tries to get the partial refund, which we eventually got. What was worse was the week that followed. My dog was so different, she wasn't loving or attention seeking anymore. She was scared and hid all the time. I don't know what happened there, but I will NEVER go back.

Micah loves all his friends at Alley Ratz. They are caring, knowledgeable, and do a great job of taking care of my little guy. It is great to know I can trust he is in good hands there. Wonderful grooming services, training, and very helpful information.

I love Alley Ratz. Lisa Is a great instructor. I have trained my Chinese Crested and Flat Coated Retriever at Alley Ratz. Will definitely go back for more classes.

What a wonderful place to take your beloved pets for grooming. The staff is so kind, the place is immaculate, and you never have to worry about their safe keeping. So happy to have found them.
