One year later and still probably my favorite pizza in the area! Always so good. It is pricey but absolutely worth the splurge once in a while for dinner.First time ordering from Mountain Pies and it won’t be the last! So so good! Love the type of pizza that is New York style thin and huge slices you have to fold in half to eat! The price was great! We got the Friday night special large pizza and cheesy bread sticks for $22.99. Wasn’t expecting the pizza to be giant! Can’t wait to go there again!

Pizza and pie. It's pretty hard to imagine a better combination of things done well. Both are exceptional at Mountain Pies. I had the stromboli actually, not a traditional pizza, but it had all the things that would have made a pizza really, really good - the best dough ever, mounds of mozzarella cheese, and a super tasty array of toppings. Also marinara dipping sauce. I was pretty hungry, but I still surprised myself by inhaling the entire thing in one sitting. So good! I also bought an entire pie, a peach blueberry cobbler pie, and I will just say it was among the best pies I've ever purchased and probably 1/5 the cost of the pies I have access to purchase in LA, which don't typically have that homemade quality. The establishment itself is exactly what you want for good pizza and pie - unassuming, comfortable, warm, inviting. There was a TV with a super Nintendo in the dining area. The service staff are down to earth people who treated me like I was a neighbor. I really, really liked this place and would recommend it to anyone remotely in the same area.

I had the pleasure of finding this place after going on a hike at Cucumber Falls. My group and I got hungry, so we decided to try out some local pizza. We called in to order for carryout, the employee who took our order was very pleasant. 20 minutes later we were in front of the building, waiting to try out the pizza after a long day of driving, going on tours, and hiking. The inside felt nice and cozy, and the employees were friendly and courteous. After driving to our Airbnb, we finally had the opportunity to dig in to the amazing looking pizza. The first bite reminded me why I enjoy trying local pizza instead of the big chain restaurants. The pepperoni is the star at play here, they're so big and tasty, I don't recall seeing anything of this caliber any where else. The next day, we were going back home after our last tour, and we decided to get another pizza because it was that good. We got there and ate inside the dining area. The pizza was just as good if not better than the day before, since it was straight out of the oven. This place deserves recognition for their excellent customer service, and delicious pizza. For our next trip, we will definitely try the baked goods. Please give this place a try.

The pizza was delicious and the people were very nice. There are gluten free pizza options for those with a gluten allergy. I'd definitely recommend stopping by and trying it if you're in the area.

Pizzas are really flavorful good except the pizza sauce it tastes lawesome but not enough of the sauce 😔 I always order extra sauce then makes it perfect!The 4 berry pie is deliciousThe staff are very polite and thoughtful. For well mannered people

We ate here as a small group while traveling through the area on motorbikes. The day was a little warm so they gave us a pitcher of water for our outdoor table. The pizza and Stromboli were delivered to us outside. Napkins and a knife to cut the Stromboli were lacking, but a quick walk back inside fixed that. Food was great.

It’s Disappointing, their pizza is still a lot better than an average store bought pizza, But it all depends on who is working really, they don’t spread toppings evenly and it’s almost 20$ for a simple 8 sliced pizza with 2 basic toppings with their online prices being wrong stating it’s only around 15$ for the same size. Other than that if your just really hungry and it’s the only decent place in a 15 mile radius then it’s ok I guess

Awesome pizza! Loved the sauce with the tomato pieces and the crust and the cheese! I guess you could say I just loved the whole pizza! Personal size was perfect to fill me up for lunch and it only took about 10 minutes after we walked in and ordered. Buddies both got Stromboli's and said they were also delicious. Price was 8 something for a personal 4 cut plain cheese pizza. Which is normal these days I spend that much at Wendy's on a chicken sandwich and a frie. It's absolutely a great tasting pizza with quality ingredients so I'm gonna say it's most definitely worth it and we'll for sure be back for lunch next time we're working in the area. I actually told my wife and boy about it when I got home and promised them we'll take a ride over the mountain one lazy Sunday when the leaves start changing and stop in for lunch/dinner.

The pizza is worth 5 stars the service is not! Hence my 3 star review!I took my family to eat here and the employees were not interested in serving us! The young female employee brought us a menu. My wife and I ordered waters. After waiting an unreasonable amount of time I walked up to the counter and she was playing on her phone. I told her we were ready to order. She put her phone down and said ok. She took our order and said it would be about 15 minutes. At this time she said the total and rung me up. I asked for our water and she pointed over to the cooler and said bottom shelf. I asked her if I needed to come back up to get my pizza and she said no ill bring it to you. After a short period of time she brings our food out in Togo containers. We ate the pizza and bread sticks. They were amazing! Some of the best pizza/bread sticks we have had in a very long time! After we finished eating we cleaned off the table and left. There was a young man in his mid teens standing behind the counter and didn't even look up from his phone to say thanks come again.I wouldn't recommend eating in. Call and order take out. Like I said the food was great!

Love the pizzas here. Not too expensive either. The other pies are perfectly cooked -home made pies. They are the best pies, and would probably win awards, if entered. The fruit wasn't smooshy, but freshly prepared for pies. I bought 3 pies, and the whole family enjoyed every bite.

We ate pizza here a number of years ago and didn’t care for it. The dough was too spongy and the sauce extremely sweet. Ordered again finally for New Years Eve and was hesitant. Pizza was great: chewy crispy thin, crust. Good tasting sauce and cheese. I’m from Philadelphia…..a decent New York style pizza in southwestern Pennsylvania is a rarity. 5 stars for effort in the location.

Top mom and pop pizza shop. The crispy dough was some of the best I’ve ever had. If you live near this place you’re lucky. Thin, light, fresh crispy crust. Extremely impressed. I’d have preferred more sauce but the dough and crust was the star of the show here. Had it fresh out of the oven.

Good quick food, somewhat friendly but people up front kept changing. It's Pizza if you haven't figured that out yet.Pies were pretty good I don't know if they made them. There or have someone drop them off but up the street a really good pastry shop/diner

On our holiday, we sampled pizza in Chicago but then visited Ohiopyle where we tried this pizza….it was the best. Definitely recommend trying if you are in the area. The cinnamon sticks are also recommended - delicious.

This is one of my favorite places to get pizza. I have never been disappointed either ordering and taking back to the hotel or eating in the restaurant. Delicious....Every time! Great customer service. We are super excited because we will be camping this summer in Pennsylvania and we will be 15 minutes from this place.
