He is great! We have a central vacuum, and needed the carpet part serviced 3 times so far. He is very reasonable and is a great value! I needed a belt replaced this time which he did, but he also cleaned out the hair and dirt and greased it and oiled it for free! Every time he works he returns it in the best possible condition.

I recently purchased a difficult-to-find replacement electric hose handle for our Miele vacuum cleaner. The part was reasonably priced, the order and shipping process was smooth and quick, and I was so pleased to receive the part in excellent condition with a set of instructions for removing the old handle; these instructions proved essential! Very friendly staff. I worked with Mr. Ristenbatt and he was extremely knowledgeable about vacuums. I described the types of flooring I had in my house as well as telling him I had a very fluffy dog. I had an idea of what I wanted going in and he helped me decide for sure. He spent the time to demonstrate all the features of the vacuum I was buying as well as make sure I knew the best ways to adjust the settings on my various flooring. I love knowing that should a problem ever arise I have a local that I trust to fix my vacuum! I would definitely buy from them again!

I bought a vacuum from them years ago and just bought another from them a couple months ago. I wouldn't go any where else! They are super knowledgable and helpful in getting the right vacuum for my life and my budget. No high pressure sales at all, just information and friendly service. In fact, he gave me a better deal on a great Miele vacuum than I could get on the internet! I love my vacuum, and it was such a better buying experience than trying to wade through tons of Amazon reviews on my own. So nice to have someone who I could ask questions and get answers right away. And they have been in the vacuum business for many years and know what they are talking about. Definitely recommend!

We had a failed vacuum hose (Miele) and ordered a new one from Ristenbatt. Like others we had the same experience where David Ristenbatt contacted us to explain the replacement under warranty. It would have been very simple to just ship us a new hose but David reached out and got us covered under the warranty and saved us the cost of a new hose.I'll be shopping with them again, this shows great honesty.

Ristenbatt is a superb source of information and suggestions about vacuums. We have purchased about 6 vacuums from them, both uprights and canisters, and have always found them to be extremely helpful and fair -- and we have also bought a couple of replacement parts that were needed. Delivery from Pennsylvania is no problem. We recommend Ristenbatt highly.

We recently had an issue with hose on our Miele vacuum. I went to two local shops in Northern Virginia and each shop wanted to order and sell me a new hose for about $170. I decided to order it online from Ristenbatt and before my order was shipped I received a very thoughtful email from the owner asking how old the vacuum was and what the issue with the was with the hose. I explained it and he said that Miele would cover it under warranty. Neither local shop even mentioned that possibility and both were very willing to sell me a new hose. Clearly the owner, David, is an honest and caring individual otherwise he would have just filled the order without helping me with the warranty issue. Hopefully, I won't have to purchase a new vacuum anytime soon but if do they have earned a new customer. I am also going to purchase all my bags and supplies from Ristenbatt in the future.

When I went searching for accessories for my new Panasonic vacuum I first went to the Panasonic site. What I wanted was not there, so I called Panasonic. They were of NO help. Then I found the RISTENBATT VACUUM site. It was laid out beautifully, and so easy to navigate. I found EXACTLY the parts I was looking for. Because Panasonic told me that these parts were not available I decided to call RISTENBATT to verify that they would fit my vacuum. David, the company owner, answered. He was extremely pleasant and helpful. I ordered everything that I wanted. Price was right, and my package arrived in just two days. I will get all my supplies from them. Thank you RISTENBATT!!!

My Meile vacuum hose had a broken electrical connection so the power head for carpets wouldn't work. I ordered a new hose through Ristenbatt's website. David called me the next day (Saturday!!!), to ask what the problem was. When I explained, he said he'd try to see if it was still covered by warranty. I explained that the warranty was past on the hose, but he said Meile had extended the hose warrenty for certain serial numbers because of a known defect. I gave him the serial number, and he said I should get a new hose , free! Clearly Ristenbatt is several cuts above the usual business, forgoing a sale that was already completed, calling the customer, and at least trying to help the customer. There actually are businessmen with great ethics!!! As far as my opinion of Ristenbatt is concerned, it doesn't even matter if Meile comes through or not.Phil B.
