Good hardware store with a little bit of everything. Nothing negative to say about the store as everyone is very kind and willing to help you find whatever you may need.Negatively, We used their appliance service to repair our refrigerator. The technician was very nice and knowledgeable, however, he did not protect my hardwood floors and caused some damage to them when pulling out the refrigerator. I was not informed of any damages and discovered it when I returned to the house a few days later.I will still be using the store, but unfortunately I do not believe I can trust their appliance servicing team to take care of my home.

Until recently when I wanted to buy from a local hardware store I went with one that was a little closer to me. Unfortunately the True Value close to me has been bought out and is not the store it once was, so when I needed to get a replacement oven for my kids I went looking here. I can tell you I'm glad that I did. They got the oven in earlier than they said that they could and the installers fixed an issue that the folks who put in the last oven did fix and just lazily worked around.A few days after that my fathers dryer started squeaking so we called and had a service person come out. He was prompt (he actually arrived before he was scheduled and we weren't back yet) and he fixed the dryer in 15 minutes or less. He was nice, polite, and got the job done quickly, just like the guys who installed the oven. If you're looking for solid service, honesty and decent prices I strongly suggest that you look here.

Plant shop has everything including ready made arrangements, hanging baskets, terrariums, venus fly traps and much more. See photos please. Hardware store has much more that tools and paint, sold by local folk, not corporate America. Highly recommend a visit here.

I have bringing our lawnmowers here for 15 years ( maintenance and blade sharpening)Today I brought in my chainsaw ( chain came off bar) to the Service desk. Was immediately greeted by polite, competent employee. They went right to work- opened up the saw, cleaned out the debris, relooped the chain.I asked what I owed, they said “ you’re good”. Zero.Done in under 4 minutes.In this day and age, the above is so RARE. I heartily recommend Longneckers True Value hardware- old time face to face customer service in a world that’s forgotten what ”Customer Service” even means.

I purchased all new appliances for my new home.They were truly amazing to work with from sales to service to installation! Best prices in the area. Was looking for fountain pen ink and had to buy a fountain pen to get the ink. Not a big deal as it wasn't that expensive. Nice store, clean facilities, and helpful staff.

Needed an appliance ,Zach was so polite and helpful. They had the one I wanted in warehouse and it arrived 2 days later and was in stalled 2 days after that. The installer(Steve) was no polite and pleasant, something hard to come by these days! He gave me tips as well on things I had no idea about when using and buying dishwasher detergent. I would highly recommend them over other places that we have bought from in the past. Bigger appliance businesses are not necessarily better.

Rented a concrete grinder. Staff was very helpful. Explained how to operate the machine. Even loaded and unloaded machine. Helps to have a rental place for things you don't use everyday.

One of the last local hardware stores around. Employees are either 20 or 70. All reasonably friendly and knowledgeable. Fair prices and a surprising selection of merch. Super handy that it's <1 mile from the house. Just finished a bathroom remodel and they had nearly everything I needed.Edited review: Have dropped my review to 2* when I learned of their employment practices. Hired someone who gets you through the whole pandemic and then when they reduce their availability (because they found a better paying job - not hard to do when you're paying people <$9.00 an hour) you manufacture a reason to fire them. With no previous warnings or anything you fire them for something that supposedly happened months earlier. The selection and service are still fine. But the way they pay and treat their employees is not okay with me. Will be making the drive to Bombergers in Lititz from now on I guess.

I like this store especially the garden area. Stephanie is so great. She helped me save a cactus that I had for years! She takes such wonderful care of the plants and merchandise in that department. Plants are so healthy! I also like the homemade items! I don't know any other hardware store where they sell homemade items! What I like the most is the customer service if you need help with something there's someone there to help!

I love shopping here, never had an issue until today. I needed to drop off a UPS package. The lady at customer service was on the phone with another coworker and calling a lady a slab who came into the building to drop off a package, the employee then realized it wad a USPS worker but still called her a slob all while i am still waiting there to be helped. I mentioned i ran out of tape and needed to secure my label. Rudely she said we sell tape over there. I said i can run to my sisters and tape it there if you can't help me. She rudely glared at me and made it a hassle to rip some tape off. I said thank you and she couldn't even say thank you. One bad employee, and she was an older lady, ruins a companies reputation. She better hope I never run into her again when shopping. It's your job to be nice to the customers who are being nice to you.

Went for a multimeter, and sales staff pointed me in "a" direction, but it was one of three displays of testers. Slim pickings on that display, but I found a much better selection at another display in the store. Long story short, I was ready to spend $50 on a tester when I came across the sale bin at the front of the store. Goodbye $50 tester, hello $12 tester that did exactly what I needed. Staff was overall helpful and available without being in my face every 30 seconds. Store was clean and as well-stocked as any these days. It was near closing time, yet I didn't feel rushed to get out. Bonus: this hardware store has a decent art supply section in which they sell Gelly Roll pens! What hardware store stocks Gelly Rolls?

I recently bought a plant from their greenhouse/garden section. The lady over there was so extremely helpful! She went through the entire greenhouse and gave me recommendations for plants for my house conditions. She also gave me a lot of education on my plant and it's lighting/watering needs. I left feeling so prepared and equipped. Highly recommend!

Stephanie from the garden section is AMAZING. She is unbelievably sweet and cheerful and incredibly helpful when it comes to any questions I have about plants. I have purchased over 40+ plants from Stephanie and plan on making this store my sole place for garden purchases just because of how awesome she is. I leave the store with a smile everytime! You can't find help like this from Lowe's or home depot

Wonderful, wonderful hardware store with people who care. HATS OFF to the rental department and an extra HATS OFF to Kobe! I had never used a powered post hole digger before and not only did he explain to me how it works, he went the extra mile and recommended a 10 inch auger over an 8 inch auger. This REALLY helped because while building our new backyard fence, I was slightly off with two of the measurements between posts. Thanks to the extra two inches on the auger bit, it all worked out. Thank you Longeneckers and thank you Kobe for your help and for caring!!!

WOW! Purchased a GE microwave from Home Depot. When they came to install they said new over-stove MW was 1/8 inch larger than old MW and with the ceramic tile underneath, they could not install the new MW. We cancelled order. We stopped by Longenecker's Hardware. After telling Jeff the tile problem with Home Depot, he said no problem at Longenecker's. Steve came out with new MW and guess what?!!. The new MW fit into the same opening without touching the ceramic tile below. I AM IMPRESSED! DH was impressed. Steve was knowledgeable, professional, efficient, and protected and cleaned up everything. A big plus: The microwave, same model, was less expensive at Longenecker's than at Home Depot! Longenecker's has my loyalty when I need a new appliance in the future. (I already have my name on a waitlist for a new double-oven stove that is out of stock everywhere at this time.)

They used to have good service and try to work with peopleI had a problem with a Dewalt 60 volt batterie that would not hold a charge (less than 3 years old).They told me that the tool was out of its 3 year manufactures warranty and would not even look up the date of sale (which they have on my commercial account)The dismissive nature to which this was handled really bothers me and though the store did nothing wrong it has me questioning why I am driving so far to get the same service I can get anywhere elseI had been going out of my way to get tools from Lonegeneckers for more than 8 years.It is sad to see a long standing relationship end on a note like this.
