First coming in your greeted by this weird awful smell. It makes shopping unmanageable. The store is always chaotic and there is only one employee I love there, she is nicer than the two older woman. Be carful with their self check out because it can be a money grab without you noticing, some coupons won't clip right and twice theyve done nothing to help but be irritated and rush you out the store.The one in Akron is far organized and your greeted by the most nicest staff and she goes out of her way to make your shopping experience better.

I’m so happy we stopped in here. We ordered balloons on Amazon that we couldn’t find in a store but needed to get them filled. We were fortunate to find out they fill balloons here even if you didn’t buy them here. The manager didn’t even charge us!

If I could give it negative if I could. I can't blame the staff they're trying but the training sucks because the turnover rate is out of control(ie nobody is qualified to train). As a multi billion dollar corporation you need to get your staffing under control. The only way you can do this is to get on cue with everyone else and start paying your employees better. Stop forcing that 12% annual growth and secure your current real-estate before you lose it. Fire your ceo and logistics team and start over so I can stop guessing weather your open or not.

All employees are very friendly and helpful. Any questions I need answered if they don't know it they don't just sit there w an IDK & DGAD kinda face, they make you their priority.I wish they had more clothing in way smaller sizes though, but for being such a small store, selection isn't that bad & is pretty good stocked up.. Keep the good job Ladies n the few gentlemen I've noticed there

Store shelves were really bare, but there were push carts with boxes in quite a few aisles. But the store was absolutely filthy. Items were on the floor in every aisle, floors were dirty, it was just overall disgusting. I was there a few months ago and it wasn't like this. Not going back any time soon

This is great store! They carry all kinds of items from food to animal food. Fish food cat and dog toys etc. They carry all vitamins, all cleaning products, kitchen & bathroom items soaps everything! It's a one stop shop! They even have gardening supplies for outside and inside plants. Everything is low price too!

It's a nice store. Clean, organized, good employees and a pretty good variety of merchandise. You will be sure to find your basic needs items. Pet food, toiletries, bleach, snacks, food & beverages and the like. They even have specials, so keep an eye out for them. No complaints. It's not the Dollar Tree, so not everything is a dollar, but everything is reasonably and affordably priced. Good prices. As far as home items, they don't have the best selection. I prefer Dollar Tree. But almost everything else is there as far as your basic stuff. They even have k-cups, though they're not brand name, they're store brand generic and they're the smaller 10-12ct boxes. So, if you're not picky about your coffee, go for it. I look for the best brands and I also buy local. So, I like to buy mine at Ollie's Bargain Outlet and Costco. Those stores have the best prices for the big box of K-cups, the 75-100+ count. The other nice thing about this place is, they accept SNAP. That's definitely a plus and really helps people like me out who are a fixed income. Definitely, stop in. I think you'll be pleased with what you find.

Other than showing up an occasionally having an employee outside smoking weed, who then comes in to check out your items- the store is clean and well stocked. Most of the employees are nice and helpful, others act like they would rather do anything else besides be there.

I thought the menu could use refreshing. There weren't enough specials the day I was there, although I did have the crabcakes and they were very good. I wish more places would offer Coke and Pepsi, some Pepsi fountains seem to give me heartburn. The waitress was pleasant and attentive, but when you close a road you should put signs up with alternate routes. All in all, a good experience, but the water tower could use a good coat of paint.... I'm thinking blue would go best with the surrounding area.

Messy, boxes and stocking carts are always out everywhere, there's always stuff just messy on the shelves, disrespectful costomers. Most of the workers are kind/tolerable there are a small few workers that are lively and happy.The store services its purpose but its entirely to crowded with everything jammed. Trying to pack ALL the same stuff like the newer bigger DG locations is turning this store into a rats nest

It wasn't super crowded and only took a minute in line to check out. They had all the products I was looking for at a great price. Used the digital store coupons on my order and saved a bunch of money. Nice store compared to ones I've been in before.

The store itself is a tragedy. Theres always bins, boxes, trash, carts or items on the floor, in the isle. If you move a cart or box, the employees holler at you not to because of fear of injury. Well, several times trying to walk past boxes stacked in a unstable manner have fallen on me, or my young children and others.-The employees (except for one young register girl and another older woman with brown hair I can't remember her name) are all rude and sarcastic.-they are always running low on items or out completely. or they are in the boxed and carts stacked within the isle.-i have several times on my own free time cleaned up the parking lot. One day me and my kids spent two hours cleaning up trash littered all over the street, because it's such a eyesore and it's blowing up the street towards my house. Everyday there is more trash and ciggerete butts and carts all over the parking lot. Disgusting.I avoid this store as much as possible because it's just a major pain the butt to walk through to get what you want and get out without incident.Not even worth one star rating.

Dollar general is the go-to place for inexpensive items for almost any need. They even have brand name items for less money than you would spend at the supermarket. I always make it a habit to check the Dollar general first before going and spending big dollars at other big dollar stores. Things like coffee and candy are a good buy at this Dollar general. The location is good but the parking stinks. it is free parking but there's a very small parking lot

UPDATE 2018: Store has been remodeled, looks good from the outside now. Haven't been back in yet to see what the interior looks like. - - This store is in disrepair, needs a lot of work. We decided to just leave and go to a different DG.

Walked into to the store the other day to find the cashier on her cell phone chatting what seemed to be a personal phone call. Talking about getting to the beer store before they close. She was probably on the phone for at least 10 min as customers were walking into store. She got off the phone when a customer approached the check out with their items. I was near booking at somethings, but could hear her conversation which should have been left for break time in my opinion.

Couldn't find the right toilet paper and then I found it and it was behind a big cart that I could not move on my own & that would not have been a problem if the two people who were in the back and were both too busy making small talk and watched me as I was trying to get to it but didn't even bother asking if I needed help with something.

I shop at Dollar General alot especially for their reasonable cat & dog items. They also have pretty much everything you need too at a reasonable price & more savings with their digital coupons offered.

Lil low on inventory. Getting truck on Thursday. Like the place, good workers but just seems like their always moving the location of some items making it difficult at times. Overall tho as good as any!

The store is close to my house, so I can run here real quick whenever I need something. But the employees aren't very helpful or knowledgeable when it comes to their items in stock, not to mention, they aren't always friendly and seem to always be distasteful.

I was only there looking for an oh Henry candy bar, which I found online was carried by Dollar generals. This one didn't have it though.It was very small and definitely didn't give a great vibe, certainly not compared to Dollar tree.

Management is rude to customers. Employees are stocking shelves during business hours to the point where they have merchandise carts in every aisle and it's impossible to find anything. I have been hit by employees pushing carts loaded with boxes many times. They don't care. I haven't shopped here for over a year because of this.

This store is a disaster. If you were handicap you would not be able to shop in this store. It is a mess if disorganization. They re-did the exterior but left the interior a mess. I hope someday this changes.

Love this store. It has satin pillow cases for $1. The are great for preventing wrinkles and keep hair in place!

Convenient location if you need something quick but the store is a stocking disaster. Aisles you can't even get too and more items in boxes all over the store than on the shelves
