Thanks to the caring staff at VRC, our dog has had over 2 years (going on three) of quality life after she completed radiation treatment here for her brain tumor in the oncology department. The oncology staff and all technicians treated her so well and explained everything to us so thoroughly. We truly appreciate this place for giving us more time with Lyla.

I have always had a positive experience at the VRC. I have taken my dog to their emergency room twice. Reception outstanding! A nurse has taken him promptly to the examination area and I have been informed of his diagnosis after careful observation. There is never chaos or tension in the waiting room. Pet parents are relaxed , knowing everything is under control. Highly recommend.

We can’t thank VRC enough for the most amazing, caring, loving, and wonderful team that took care of Beast and us! It was a whirlwind week! Beastie started limping and within days they were able to get him in for surgery to repair his completely torn CCL (ACL in humans) and a meniscus tear! Dr Power was wonderful. The nurses were fantastic. The front desk was comforting and our gentle giant was madly loved and doted over! He was in the best hands - and we are so grateful! Our gentle giant is now on his way to full recovery. (Day 2 of an 8 week recovery at home)Thank you VRC! ♥️

My little Tucker Bean had a Perineal Hernia back at the end of December and needed surgery to repair the damage, which was pretty severe on his right side although he was herniated on both sides. He had surgery on Jan 11th, Dr had to go back in on the 12th and relieve the sutures on the left side due to sciatic nerve entrapment which caused his left leg to be lame. Fortunately upon suture removal he did not re-herniate and has since regained full use of his left leg. I can't thank Dr. Coggeshall and the staff at VRC enough for taking such good care of my little guy.

I was pleasantly surprised by my visit to VRC. My 1st phone call set the tone for the rest of my experience. I initially called for information regarding an MRI for one of my dogs. Scheduling, cost etc. The person on the phone was so nice & super informative. Scheduling was easy & super fast. The day of the MRI went smooth. Dr. Rosen was fantastic & really set my mind at ease. My pup is on the mend & I am no longer the crazy worried pet parent I was for the past few weeks. I will also mention that they could have charged much more & they didn’t. That’s always a win. I hope I never have to go back but if I do I know my fur kids are in great hands. The picture is of my guy wiped out from his day at VRC recovering from the anesthesia.

My middle aged dog, Blueberry, was diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma in two locations in the Fall of 2023. We were referred to Dr. Ware at VRC to consult for treatment. Blueberry’s treatment included a CT scan and 18 aggressive radiation treatments over the course of 3.5 weeks. We became well known at VRC among the front desk staff, Dr. Ware, Kyla, and his entire team. We are so grateful to everyone at VRC for taking care of us during this difficult time and are glad to say we have hit six months post-treatment without signs of recurrence. I cannot recommend VRC enough.

From the moment I entered with my cat, with a urinary track issue, I was impressed by the staff from the front desk, to med tech, to Dr. Wait time was minimal, communication and transparency was excellent. From medical diagnosis and recommended treatment plan, to anticipated cost. Communication continued, with status reports, with me at home - both texts and phone calls. Upon discharge I actually received a partial refund of my deposit! All discharge instructions were clearly explained and my questions/concerns addressed. Within 24 hrs. of discharged they called to check on him and address any questions. This was the BEST emergency Vet experience I have EVER had. I recommend them highly when your beloved pet needs immediate care ... 24/7.

The kindest, most knowledgeable doctor and tech I have ever had the pleasure to know. Dr. Badanes and Amanda have cared for my senior dog and his severe eye problems for months now and saved his sight!! They are amazing!!!

Our 10 year old miniature dachshund suffered a seizure and stroke, and further injury to her spinal cord. We brought her into VRC, and from start to finish the entire staff were amazing. They walked us through every step, the cost, and all of our options. They were incredibly gentle and kind to our pup even though she can be a bit feisty. We would recommend them to everyone!

We love Dr. Badanes,he is so helpful and takes his time with Leo. He answers all of our questions every time we are there and Leo is not an easy case. Leo has had non healing corneal ulcers in both of his eye and both have gotten infected (this is super rare) and Dr. Badanes has seen us without hesitation and fit Leo in to make sure he gets the best care. I won’t go anywhere else for Leo’s eye care!

First visit was very nervous since my puppy is only 15 months old. Everything worked out great, the surgeon and staff were very friendly and respectful. The fact that they weren’t ready to rush into surgery that might not work at first was awesome. Treatment is going to be stay living our life and if things gets worse then come back. I was very comfortable with the surgeon for his care and concern for my baby was top notch.

This is not where you want to be, but I am grateful VRC exists so close to home. They always provide compassionate care, which begins with the front desk team. My young dog was treated quickly on a Friday evening while others were also receiving attentive care. Thank you to everyone who cared for Pippa and her dietary indiscretion!

We had been referred to VRC because our cat needed specialist for cancer on his limb. They came highly recommended by a few individuals who also used VRC. They were amazing and I cannot believe how kind they were and we never felt rushed or what we were concerned about was blown off. We had an emergency with the mass opening and when I called the team and Dr. Coggeshall right away took our cat, Baron, and the whole team took amazing care of him. They called everyday with updates like they said and after the surgery the vet called us which put our mind as ease. I wish they were closer but for what we needed I would not hesitate to make the drive at all for the wonderful service and the staff. Thank you.

Our dog needed to have fluid drained from his lungs (he has cancer) and they were polite and professional. Staff was very friendly and prompt. Dr. Bartholomew explained everything simply and clearly. They kept us updated. Good experience.

Last night, 2/3/24, my precious cat Gillie, experienced Grand Mal seizures back to back to back. This had never ever happened to her before! Each seizure got closer and closer together and my little sweet cat wasn’t recovering in between each one. She had probably 20+ in an hour. Since it was a Saturday night at 10pm, I had to find somewhere fast to rush her to. I found VRC Hospital in Malvern. I called ahead of time to let them know my emergency and they told me to pull right up to the front door. My car wasn’t even in park and a nurse came out opening my car door to get my cat and rush her back to the doctor. When I got inside, it was a beautiful animal hospital, incredibly clean, and only one other animal in the waiting area. 3 very sweet receptionists were working the front desk and checked me in and handed me tissues for my endless tears. After about 20 minutes or so, the doctor came out and we went into a room where she calmly, and gently broke the news about my cats prognosis and discussed my goals for her. The doctor was so professional, tender hearted and genuine. She allowed me to go back and say my goodbyes to my sweet friend and stay for her euthanization. The nurses were absolutely amazing and helpful and everyone took such good care of my cat in her last final moments here on earth. The receptionist was very gentle and tender when asking how I wanted to go about handling her remains. They offer an array of options as well as the option for keepsake paw prints. After Gillie was euthanized, they allowed me to take her to a quiet peaceful room to hold her while she was wrapped in blankets, and grieve for as long as I wanted. The entire process, although incredibly heartbreaking and unexpected, was nothing like I’ve ever had at any other Vet when my pet is euthanized. The entire process from my initial phone call, to the very end, was so nice. I can’t thank everyone enough at VRC Hospital Malvern. You guys are a great group of people that truly care and it shows! I highly recommend this vet to everyone!!!!

My dog spent 2 days in the ICU at VRC. They would text me every morning, then I would get a call around lunch time and again later in the early evening. They were really communicative and they were patient and always willing to answer questions and be sure we understood what was going on.No it wasn’t cheap, but they’re less expensive than some other ER/specialty hospitals in the area.I felt very comfortable with the care my dog received.

Dr. Rosen and her staff were thorough, professional, competent and compassionate. We could not be more grateful and thankful for the efficiency and care to review our dog’s records and speak with our dog’s vet ahead of our appointment where she took the time to hear our concerns. She provided us with answers and recommendations which were extremely helpful for our dog’s health and well-being, and we left with a clear direction that was in our family’s best interest.

Worst. Experience. Ever. If I could leave zero stars to leave a review, I would. We paid a very high bill for my dog to be watched throughout the night due to him having a fever of 103°, when we picked him up he was totally out of it and seemed nothing like himself. Yes he was sick but he looked better when we dropped him off than when we picked him up!!!! And they tried telling us it’s because he was depressed to have been there… the weekend before that he had to be hospitalized as well due to his pancreatitis and when we picked him up at the other hospital he was 10000x better than when we dropped him off so no it was not due to him being depressed. Then, the nurse brings out his harness COMPLETELY TORN. if he had been watched, there is no way he could have done this. And my dog NEVER chews anything other than his toys. I am beyond upset to have left my poor baby at the hands of these people. If you love your dog, go somewhere else.

The staff and doctors at VRC took great care of my dog, even in the middle of the night. They had seen the issue before and were able to diagnose, treat, and have us both home in a few hours. There was no pressure to stay there for 24 hours ($$) and they provided clear guidance and support. Definitely will return if anything else goes wrong!

I've loved VRC for as long as I've owned pets and a pet care business! Not always fun having to go to an ER but the staff is always extremely friendly and kind and understanding and I think they've seen me cry more than any of my friends. The pets are always in great hands there and it eases the stress of pop up problems and end of life decisions.

VRC is top notch when it comes to the care of your pet. Every specialist we have seen has been super thorough and caring as if it were their own pet. Ella was diagnosed with osteosarcoma of the pelvis in mid April and VRC got her in so quickly to be seen to see if she was a surgical candidate. While local vets didn't present surgery as an option to us and were super negative, Dr. Cappelle was comfortable with performing a hemipelvectomy for Ella so we decided to move forward with it. Overall, super happy with her care and you can always get in contact with someone at the front desk.We are now working with the oncology team and so far, we are really happy with them as well. Worth the 2.5 hour drive as nothing compares in our local area.

Dr Sadanaga and his staff were very thorough and kind. He took his time with us explaining and thoroughly examined our pup. He did some tests and found an issue that our vet and 2 other specialists hadn’t picked up on. I plan to schedule my pups surgery with him today.

I was very impressed when I took my dog for a opthamologist appointment on Monday. Everyone from reception to nurse all the way to the Dr. was kind professional and most importantly gentle and patient with my nervous girl. Will definitely be returning in a year for her check up, and would recommend to friends if they need a specialist.

We drove 1.75 hour to speak with the vet for 10 minutes to hear that they can't do the necessary tests because the tech/machine was not working today! Then they charged us a $200+ fee and told us to come back next week so we can get our puppy the tests he needs in order to be diagnosed. Be sure to ask if they are able to make a proper assessment before going.

As always, a solid experience. Front desk staff was friendly. Doctor was thorough and investigative and was able to diagnose the medical problem our dog was having, despite Riggs' rare condition he was in. It was very odd as he had gotten into some macadamia nuts the day before and apparently ate enough that produced a high level of toxicity, having him feel immense pain in his hind legs, preventing him from walking. He had no problems during the day, he had gone to bed perfectly fine the night before barreling up the steps into our bedroom and into his crate, but when he woke up in the morning he could not get out of his crate. So they hooked him up to IV, for fluids and pain medication until the nuts passed...and boy did they pass (2C worth!). Once the nuts were out of his system he was back to his same old self!

My small dog, Pekingese mix, had emergency surgery for foreign matter in her stomach and intestines. I was very nervous but the team ay VRC was amazing. They explained everything thoroughly. I felt comfortable leaving my girl there for the night. Follow up was great also. I had a few questions and a nurse returned my call quickly.

Our first visit. Fantastic experience. Staff is caring and the doctor knows his stuff! Very impressed with the facility. Spot on with our dog's diagnosis on Sunday afternoon! Just over an hour and we were on our way.

We entered VRC as an emergency room case with no appointment. We were having an issue with our dog and we were checked and shortly there after a nurse came out to get the details on what happened. She took the dog into the back hospital area and we were told to sit in the waiting area and a doctor would be out to visit us as soon as possible. After about 20 minutes or so the doctor appeared and we went into a private room to discuss what they found. She went over everything very clearly, prescribed a medication for us to take home and we left shortly thereafter and all has been well since. The staff from the people who check you in upon arrival to the nurses up to the doctors and specialists were all very very professional, caring, and compassionate. We have never used VRC before but would have no hesitation to use them again. A wonderful organization!!

My vet practice referred me to VRC for a condition on my 11 year old female Airedale that wasn't easy to diagnose. Dr Wiley examined Cleo and is in the process of tracking down possible issues. We were admitted promptly when we arrived. Staff was friendly, efficient, and professional. The facilities were spiffy clean, well organized, with ample room for the patients to not feel threatened. A great experience in an otherwise somber situation.
