I absolutely LOVE this store!!! I shop here almost daily and the first thing I notice when I walk in is that the employees seem genuinely happy to be there, have always been happy to help when asked, I have always been greeted with a smile which is a refreshing change from many places I've shopped and employees are at Gerritys are ALWAYS friendly and professional. I will continue shopping here as long as the employees are as pleasant as they have been for the past 25 years. Keep up the GREAT work and don't change a thing!!

Definitely my go-to grocery store. First and foremost, there’s always an employee available to ask questions and there’s always cashiers open to check out if you don’t like self-checkout. Any time of day, the employees are pleasant and happy to help. I’m never wandering around looking for an item, every employee knows the store down to the part of the aisle something is in. It’s quick to shop there and the layout of the store makes sense. Once, I came in 17 minutes before close and shopped for my entire Thanksgiving dinner with one minute to spare! The prices are great, save a few items here and there, and overall I can’t believe how much more I get with my money here vs other stores.The Bowl and Basket store brand is great, huge improvement over the old Best Yet. You won’t find many expensive delicacies or a huge international food section, but for everyday groceries, this is definitely the best place to shop.

Good size convenient store. You can find hot and cold food at very good prices. The bakery is nice, many different things to pick from. I found some plants that I didn't thought I could ever get there. I will be back.

We shop here all the time but I think the check out staff in the evening need some customer service training. I understand it’s teenagers but I went to the alcohol check out and was told I couldn’t check out because I have more than 15 items (after waiting there) then the next lady that came checked out her entire order well over 15 items? So we pick and choose who can check out at the register? Then the cashier we went to made an ignorant comment while we were walking away because we almost forgot a bag. I used to be the teenager working at the grocery store and there’s no reason to be ignorant.

Great selection. Staff is super helpful. They always have really good sales on products. Never a long line and the best part is they still have a ton of cashiers who also bag your groceries.

This is a wonderful grocery store for getting just about anything you need. Finished up our Christmas grocery shopping in one easy stop. They have evidently partnered with Shop Rite, as they now offer Bowl & Basket products, a Shop Rite brand. Will be returning again and again.

I wouldn’t get food from here. Within the past few weeks I have seen health board and osha go in there. Also know a few people personally that got sick from deli and another person who found worms in their shrimp tray 🤮🤮 oh I am being 100% honest. Prove to me they weren’t in there taking pictures and all that in the deli.

This should be a 5 star... however the Deli Department for several weeks now has been way less than customer friendly. Not enough Deli workers and the one or two there either are talking and not realizing customers need to be helped..or the just leave shift letting customers waiting much too long. I believe a Deli manager in Luzerenr is VERY MUCH needed. Can't believe this is happening to a great store.Since this posting l have seen improvements in the deli area. Very happy for customers as well as employees. Like l stated been shopping here for a very long time.. and love it..from all the items to buy to the best front end cashiers anywhere. Thanks

Had a great trip this week only 3 items I usually get were out of stock..that's a step up..it's a revolving door of missing items..1 week it's red bull next week it's dog food...this week was gatorade, Swanson's bag frozen meals, noodles ya never know! It's always an adventure

My weekly grocery. They always have what you want in stock. I ordered a large amount of burgers, the butcher was so nice that he actually sent an order in to the corporate office and had fresh meat delivered the morning I was picking them up. Where else can you find a butcher that just offers to have fresh meat delivered the morning your pick up date. They were perfect and wrapped very well.I was sold! Now with that said, they do have a small drawback. The prices on the fresh fruit and vegetables plus the potatoes are more expensive than most other grocery stores in the area. But on a brighter note, I purchased an item the day before the sale started (of course the sell price was 1/2 what I paid the day before...my luck still holds out, ugh..) so I called customer service. they asked me to come back the next day with the receipt. So I did. I actually was going to purchase 2 more of the same item. Why not I was there anyway. To my surprise, the manager actually gave me the 2 items absolutely free. I was expecting it to go back to the C/C. NOW... In my book, how could you beat that!? (Score one for luck!) Finally, I lucked out... That's why 4 stars. They earned it, by me. Give them a chance to do the same for you. I don't think you'll be sorry. ⭐ So as always, Good luck!

I always had my grocery delivered. I am very disappointed with door dash. I really liked your employees that delivered. They were very friendly and helpful. Door dash doesn't even ring the doorbell. Just drops it off. No notice. I will need to go to another grocery store with better delivery.

Not my usual grocery store, but very much like the Hanover Twp. store I shop at regularly. I happened to be in the area and decided to go there and this isn't the first time I've shopped there. Would go there again if it was convenient for me. I must say I love my The Fresh Grocer store in Hanover Twp. It's so clean and they have good produce. Since they switched to The Fresh Grocer, I've tried some new products that I've liked.

Store is always clean and stocked well. Meats are much better than Weis in our area, and usually stay fresh until the stamped date, unlike Weis meats. However, the points program needs work. YOU have to remember to put your own number in. And THEY can't (aren't able to see apparently)tell you if you have enough points for discount. If you don't ask to have them redeemed, you won't ever get the discount you earned! Not a fan!

Used to be a lot better. Meat still good. Deli service awful!!! They're always fooling around and talking to each other - extremely slow for no reason. Will walk off the deli even with customers 10-15 deep. There are 2 or 3 good slicers. The rest don't care what you even ask for. Brian and Frank are very good. You actually get what you ask for and the way you want it.

Horrible experience. Tried to buy some trash stickers at like 8:30 and the employees say they cant do it because they already counted them for the night. I go out of my way to get my stickers here. The only time i can go is in the evening. I've worked in grocery stores before, I understand that employees like to get closing tasks done early so they can go home on time, however if there is a time where you cannot buy stickers anymore for the night, if its before closing time, it should be posted online or something, because people like me go out of their way to come here just for stickers, I don't regularly shop here. A man in front of me bought some lottery tickets at the same counter. So you can buy lottery tickets at 8:30 but not trash stickers? I surely hope the owner knows about this, and its not some lazy manager behind in the room letting this happen. Because when we asked for the stickers the cashier turned around and asked someone in the room if she can do it and they told her to tell us no. Lmfao. I'm just wondering how many other customers this happens to. Pure laziness.

Wife sent me to pick up a "smash cake" for a 1 year old. The baker(s) did it in a Super Wyatt theme and looked awesome. Additionally I ran into the head manager, was not aware, but threw him an odd ball question and he knew right where to find the item in question, (lentils). Real nice guy appreciated his help. Would return very happy

Love this store- just not some of the self check out staff. Had a woman with blonde hair, glasses, over 50 running it today come over, move my items in and out of my basket, talked to me in a disrespectful manner and when I asked her to leave me alone to do my thing- rolled her eyes to the new team member she was obviously training. I’ll be taking my business to another grocer- I spend my money places where people are decent.

This has to be absolutely the worst job I've ever had. For one the deli is filthy. Employees drunk and high at work leaving meats and cheeses around causing flies to gather. Nothing gets cleaned properly slicers left and used for 4 to 6 hrs no cleaning until the end. Or if it gets busy someone will clean them and watch you struggle. No one has the correct answer while getting trained there's like 3 different ways to do the job that someone always says is wrong. The floor is atrocious doesn't get mopped. I also loved doing double while the others always had a reason to not be on the floor whether they were flirting with girls or sneaking outside to smoke. Don't get anything out of this deli things sit out and gather flies as I've stated as well get put back in the backside of the front cabinet unwrapped for 24 or more hrs. You guys should be embarrassed.

The store itself is confusing. And there’s no reason why it should be this hard to find some thing in a store. Where the items are located makes no sense. The store got to get on top of this. If you’re looking for a confusing shopping visit and not being able to find half the things you need at this is a great place for you. But if you’re looking for a quick shop, add a new store, I would recommend somewhere else. Staff is 50-50. They either are eager to help you or look at you like you’re stupid.

Has definitely gone down hill since changing over to "The Fresh Grocer". My family has shopped there for many, many years.. Now we choose to go a little out of the way for better prices and selections. The staff isn't that great either. Some won't even bag your items and stare at you bagging, as if you're taking too long.. While they're already checking out the next person!
