Hello , my name is mary beth. I currently work at family dollar. And I'd like to set some thing straight as I see some of these reviews. First , I am first and foremost a human. I have bad days and good days just like everybody else. I try my best to keep a cheerful disposition , as do my other fellow employees. Sometimes my attitude may come off wrong but it's not meant towards anyone just having a rough day. Second we are superheroes at family dollar we do a multitude of things we don't just specifically stand up front and ring customers out. We stock shelves , we check dates on food so u don't by expired product , we try and do our best to keep the shelves stocked with EVERYTHING but inevitably it is the DC that send us our products . And we put out what we get. So if you catch any of us on an off day. I apologize . Check back again and I promise the attitude will be different. Also ma'am who said I wouldn't return the clothes . Honey your tags on the clothes were ripped in half. You also had no receiptI couldn't even get a price for the item. If Edwardsville did , awesome. But from my end there was nothing I could figure out that I could do for you. I was not rude. I was blunt. And you didn't like that. And that's fine. But let's also say how you were loudly yelling to your guests that were with you , bc I couldn't return something that had no receipt or tags.... I say that to say this . (I literally put in 18,000 steps on Monday, stocking shelves and processing a truck. ) we don't stop moving . We stay busy for YOU to have what you need . So just maybe consider that . And as for the review before mine.You have absolutely no right to talk about a store you were fired from for stealing money . (I don't care what amount you have in your bank account you were caught on camera ) you repeatedly came in late . And then you want to talk badly about a store that you begged on your way out for another chance. Don't do that , that's a bad look .Anyways I appreciate all my faithful customers. Horrible customer service! My grandson received an outfit from there for his birthday the outfit was to large went in to exchange it either for smaller size , even exchange, or store credit. The girl refused any of those options even though the tags were on the items. She was rude and made me feel like I had done something wrong saying I can’t resell them and other things I can’t repeat. I left there with my daughter and went to the one in Edwardsville and was able to get two cute outfits for him with an exchange. Never will I ever buy anything from Luzerne family dollar again. You need nicer workers!

Overall it's a pretty good store but it just relax a lot of things that you need and the prices are just a tad bit High for being a Family Dollar but also that's my opinion other than that the people the workers all the girls they're great so it's a great store overall

Somewhat limited inventory but everything is reasonably priced, the store is clean and the staff is always friendly and courteous every time I go in.

This family dollar by far is the cleanest most organized store out of all Family Dollar’s the staff are very professional they smile they help you find things they will go out of their way to help you kudos to management on this store
