We bought a bunch of furniture from Big Lots, in Luzerne, and had to pay $100 to have it delivered. After delivery, they left a huge pile of cardboard boxes in the driveway. I called and asked if they could remove them and I was told no.First, I was told, I had to get rid of it myself. When I pointed out those boxes came in a huge moving truck, and that I had no way to fit them anywhere, I was told I would have to break down all the cardboard myself and dispose of it.So, don't buy any furniture from there unless you plan to break down huge piles of cardboard yourself and take them to a dumpster with your own vehicle.There are better places to shop, with better furniture, who will treat you better.P.s. This cardboard in the photo is only half of what was left.

Its a great place to shop for furniture, bedding housewares. Two years ago i bought all my furniture for my new house. They have separate company who delivers and puts together for a reasonable fee.

My friend and I got a few nice things for her new home 🏡. Used our 20% off coupon too. We had them look up an item at the Luzerne store and It said they had 2 left. When we drove over there we could not find any more of them so I was a bit disappointed. Other than that the employees were friendly, and the store was neat.

I love shopping here. They have cool decorations that I can't help but to buy. I always buy whatever jumps out at me and find awesome gifts for the family.

Love this store but had anyone ever seen all the cigarette butts outside on the ground? You would think they would have their staff go out and sweep in the mornings to make the store look more presentable. Where's the pride?

Wilkes Barre store has the best employees. Furniture dept this Hispanic girl help us and answer all our question very patiently and helps us make a choice within our budget . This was the second store I visited I went to temple ,pa and the woman was bother by the question was very rude so we left and went to the Wilkes barre location and it was worth it. I give 5 star to WB location

Friendly people, nice store. All the biglots stores have been remodeling and updating, so its a much more pleasant store seems like. The wife is always getting seasonal/holiday chachky there. We bought some furniture there some years back when we in a tight spot, it held up pretty well!! 2 adults 2 kids.. definitely served its purpose. A nice mixture of items.. like a smaller wally world!

Great all around store for all my needs, the workers for the most part are very friendly and helpful but like in all stores they do have a few that are not so friendly. I still give the store a 5 out of 5 stars reason being each star represents an area in store Outlook from cleanliness to checkout and this biglots store meet's all my standards...

I work right next door and always enjoy visiting Big Lots. Alot of good value stuff there and a nice place to shop on a budget. All of the staff is very friendly and always smiling when i visit. Really happy to see that they are consistently improving the store

This place is weird. Sometimes there are really good deals and other times not. Furniture deals are excellent most of the time and they have their own in house financing if your credit is not that great. Good prices on tools and well...most things but selection could be lacking.

Surprised at how many cool unusual things I found here. Went in on a spur of the moment decision but very happy did as I found lots of interesting things all at good prices. Can't wait to go back

Enjoy big lots. They have a leading program which is very helpful especially around the holidays when you need those last minute items. I bought my living room tables there and they are so different. You can't find these tables elsewhere. Reasonably priced.

Prices are so much more than they used to be. Some prices and sales are good for seasonal. Employees friendly. Store is set up awkwardly . You can get alot ot items for house, beauty, kids seasonal and of course toys.

The store was your typical BIG Lots but it was pretty disorganized as far as certain sections were concerned. The holiday items were great, but they were all over the place. Tree skirts, for example, were in multiple sections rather then all in one place.

I love Big Lots. You can find things here that are discontinued in the local stores. This is a great place to pick up items for specialty baskets. It's very affordable.

O M G I love there seasonal decorations ! Everything is so perfect , the prices are so cheap. I shop here for all my fall, Thanksgiving, Christmas, new year's, spring,and summer house decorations! I would be lost without this place lol

Revamping the layout of the store was a nice idea but the height of many of the shelving makes it claustrophobic to me. Also very tight in the aisles. Seems like the expanded furniture display and seasonal areas have squished everything else. Why not expand the store into the vacant space next door?

Could not believe called to make reservations for our anniversary and lady on phone said there was no need for that flash forward 2 weeks I get dressed up she gets dolled up go over and 1st negative thing was there was no valet parking ok no biggie 2nd negative thing was walked in and waited to be seated but nobody ever came over to take our name for seating so made our way over to the rest area and sat on couches employees came over and told them we would like a window seat also it would be great to look at a menu while waiting and they kind of blew us off for a hour I mean it didn't even look that busy finally after a hr and a half they moved us due to a couple was buying the couch we were sitting on I truly think they were going out of business because everyone who came in bought something from furniture to electronics to clothing I don't think they even Serv food not one to go box left so we left too but I did go back for mini blinds prices were totally awesome

It's a good place to shop however at this time did they didn't have the stuff that I needed so I was not there that long and I didn't buy anything
