Our Zoey loves her time at Camp!! Staff is excellent with all the fur babies, so loving and kind! They are just as excited to see us arrive, as we are to get there. Zoey gets to make new friends and play with her furpals. Camp KCS is a true blessing for fur parents looking for safe, reliable boarding and/or daycare that treat the animals as their own. This is Zoey's home away from home! We love it there and highly recommend this wonderful place.

This is absolutely our dog's happy place! For both daycare and boarding, she gets so excited to go to Camp! The staff is absolutely amazing. They're incredibly friendly, treat the animals like their own family, and are all experienced, confident, and respectful when handling dogs.We've been sending our dog there for almost a year now, and wouldn't go anywhere else. She gets lots of exercise and socialization that has become vital to her routine, and we're happy to have a place where we can confidently board her without worry while we're on a trip.I'd 100% recommend Camp KCS for anyone looking for daycare or boarding in the Poconos.

I have taken a bit to write this because it wasn’t easy typing it up. But I am finally able to share what my experience was like over Veterans Day weekend.It was our first time ever trying out Day Care for our buddy and I noticed this place had good reviews so decided to give it a chance. The girl at the front desk was great and made us feel good about giving it a shot. My small Cavapoo is not great with new people so we tried to get him accustomed to the workers there. It was going well until he was put on a neck leash.He is not used to that at all so I should have stopped it but I figured the workers knew what they were doing. He started to choke because he was trying hard to get out of it and the workers didn’t react until I loosened it from his neck. Other workers came out to include a girl and a young boy. Right off the bat the kid give me a bad vibe but I ignored it because it wasn’t important at first. The girl told us to just head out and they would take care of it but the way she was worked up had me a bit concerned. I almost said to forget it that we would take him but I really wanted to give it a chance so that my Cavapoo could started getting used to staying away from us. We were not at ease the entire time because I didn’t know if they would mistreat him based off how things went at the end. The girl said she would keep him away from the other dogs since he was a bit overwhelmed. I just prayed they took care of him well.What got me was when we came back after about 5 hours. The young kid worker that gave me bad vibes at first came out along with another female worker. They were both young, maybe in their teens. I asked, “How was our dog after we left?” and they definitely did not give me the reassurance that it was all okay. The girl didn’t even bother getting off her phone to talk to us she just said,”he was good from what I saw” but said it very nonchalantly. The guy just said, “I don’t know, I didn’t bother working with him” and that too me raised a huge red flag. They dismissed the whole conversation with just those comments and continued to charging me. He went to get my Cavapoo and I looked at my girl, we both agreed that it did not make us feel comfortable. For it being our first time, I was not at all convinced they treated him right. No play time was involved, he was locked up the whole time. Which I understand but it made me feel like they were just worried about the money rather than the service.I will never come back to this place and probably won’t leave my dog at a Day Care again because of this experience. Everyone’s dog is family to them and for me, my pup is everything and to feel this kind of vibe from the place just didn’t reassure me I can trust others. They need to change their workers if this is the experience they give costumers especially if it is their first time ever. The worst feeling is that the kid that works there, skinny male teen, gave me vibes like he mistreats dogs there and doesn’t have good communication skills. Good luck to anyone else trying to give this place a shot. I would like to see footage of what happened after we left to at least ease my mind. We Absolutly love Camp KCS. My pups seem so happy and content. Nervous when we drop them off but are happy when they get picked up. The staff are super friendly and very attentive to my dogs needs. Playtime and Facebook photos are a plus. Always enjoy speaking with staff. I would recommend Camp KCS anyday!!!

Best place to bring your fur baby to be watched if you're going away, and you have to board your baby. They're responsible and reasonable. They also do Doggie Daycare.

I boarded my puppy Chizzy for 1 week. This was my first time ever boarding a pet. The staff was extremely caring, and attentive. I was comforted to know Camp KCS was the best choice. My little guy totally enjoyed himself. Chizzy came home appreciatively pooped from play, was notably more calmer, and in excellent health. It even seemed as though his new doggie friends said their farewells in rhythmic howl salutes, lol. I am looking forward to participating in either daycare or training classes (perhaps both). This will be our go to place for sure!. Thank you so much team Camp KCS.

I just moved into the area and adopted a rescue dog around the same time. I am so thrilled that I found Camp KCS for my little guyHe absolutely loves going to daycare. He gets so excited when I turn onto Long Pond Rd. The staff is perfect. I cant say enough good things about them. If you need a place for your dogs to have fun this is it.

My pup loves it here. She gets so excited and can barely wait to get out the car. The staff feels geniune and caring. They must really love dogs because they're constantly booked. Im also taking a dog training course Furcrum! So far so good. I've already tried day 1 of homework and it worked immediately. Just need to stay consistent. Definitely one of the best in the Pocono area!

Safe clean environment. Employees actually care about the animals from dogs to cats to birds they can accommodate while you are on vacation or just need time off. Or like me when i have family over. I have five dogs and never have to worry when they are there. They even offer daily photos via Facebook! Check them out! They now include daycare! Get your pet out while you're at work or away!

I always use them when I have to go out of town. They post pictures of my babies and send me updates if how they are doing. I can't complain about them. It's hard for me drop them off but they make it very easy. They have late drop offs which are very convenient.

We have boarded our cats here and they were spoiled & loved a lot! Our pup will get boarded here also. We are a veterinarian office, the owner is a veterinarian assistant and is 5 minutes from the facility. Chris & Karen are wonderful owners - their staff is to.Fantastic facility! Highly recommended!

These guys took great care of our dog. Blu seemed in great shape and great spirits when we picked her up after a week of being away. We will use these guys again and again. Very friendly. Active staff who walk the dogs routinely. Nice location. Well cared for. Reasonable price.

The care that the staff gives my Dogs are the very best, that my Bloodhound doesn't want to leave. The Owners are the best! You will never regret boarding you animals here! I would never put my trust in any other kennel!! Trust me you will love it and so will your animals!

Took our 6 month old puppy on short notice (4 days). We were staying at a resort nearby and needed to board her for 1 night. They were very responsive to emails and calls. When we arrived the staff were all clearly "dog people" which was reassuring. The cages in the kennel are are 5x5, much smaller than what I was expecting based on the pictures on their website. Overall though, we were happy with the experience.

We use this place exclusively. This is our go to place when we go on vacation. They post pictures of your pets having fun on Facebook so you can see them while you are away. They also have a great grooming service. We love getting our dogs back freshly washed and nice smooth trimmed nails.

Our dogs have stayed here twice now & we'll certainly keep coming back. The staff is very courteous & professional, plus one of the owners also works at Pocono Lake Animal Hospital, so there is literally a vet. tech. there all the time.

I didn't know what to expect because this was the first time I did this because I had to go to Jersey to help my mom. I was extremely grateful and happy how GREAT they are with my English Bulldog Puppy. They put tons and tons of time with his. I saw pictures and saw how HAPPY he was that it made my heart feel HAPPY!!! NO JOKE!!!!

I wouldn’t take Boo anywhere else. We’ve used this kennel since moving to the Poconos. Our husky Zorro and now Boo seem very happy here. Chris, Karen and all their employees are very caring and pet lovers. All of us pet owners worry when we go away and leave our pets at a kennel. With Boo here I can enjoy my vacation knowing he is with his second loving family! Boo even attended training here and did very well as did I!

We were caught between selling our home and closing on our new one for a month. What started as a few day stay turned into an extended one for our dogs. We have had all positive experiences before so we trusted our dogs were in great hands. Things worked out and we closed, the staff there went above and beyond and worked with us on things since it was a hardship we weren't ready for above being without our dogs. Can't say enough good things about this place, it'll be the only place we turn to for future needs.

Dakota has stayed at Camp KCS several times she didn't like it at first because she didn't know anyone out and missed her other Camp in New Jersey. We just moved here and they were highly recommend. Dakota will be staying with them for the day next Thurs and I can go get done what I need to get done and not have to worry.

Have always had the best experience at this Kennel. Staff is friendly and kind to both animals and owners. Very clean. Love that they have big kennels to keep your multiple dogs together for comfort while you are away. We haven't been able to go away the past few years, but you can be sure that THIS is where we will leave our furbabies when we finally can again! My in-laws also use them regularly and LOVE them!I read the other reviews and I can assure you that whoever "Lizzie Bee" is, she (or he) is just trolling and has NEVER used this kennel before. Looks more like they are friends with a competing facility... hmm. Not a respectable way to earn clients, if you ask me... I'll stick with Camp KCS, thank you!
