The quality of the beef jerky has declined over the years and the price has continued to go up. The jerky used to be so juicy and flavorful, now it is cut thinner and consists of a more plastic/processed texture.

Country Class Catering just catered my daughter’s wedding. Amazing!!! I don’t have pictures yet to share but from the cocktail hour appetizers through the meal, the food and service were excellent!!! Turn around time to get 150 people through a buffet line was as promised - very efficient. Michelle was so accommodating to work with through taste tests and preferences. They really do aim to please and exceeded our expectations!! I purchased 1/4 of a steer from a local 4H student in Frederick, MD at the beginning of October. Through miscommunication, I wasn’t aware it was ready to be picked up for quite a few weeks and when I was finally able to drive the hour to go pick it up today, Melissa was incredibly rude! She would not look at me and spoke to the other associate in the store about me in a very demeaning manner. I had originally planned to purchase much more than the meat we had processed, but after her behavior and passive aggressive comments, I will NEVER do business here again!

Friendly staff, there to answer any questions I had…. They had lard, hard to find in other stores as well as fantastic fresh cuts of meat. I am glad I found this store and plan to be a common customer in the store! Thank you for the farm fresh produce also!

The catering service made my wedding day better than I could've imagined! The food was great, everything ran smoothly, it was kept clean the whole time, the staff we friendly and had good timing when it came to serving the meal. The venue owner said that she was also very impressed with the services provided! I highly recommend country class catering!

I called to get pricing and an estimated time for a meat order today. I have never ordered meat like this before and when i asked what the estimated time is to prepare everything fully expecting it to be a while but not 100% sure. The women rudely and arrogantly stated that "they need to go kill the animal, hang if for ten days, and you understand you're not our only customer". Of course i understand that, but if that's how you are going to talk to potential new customers, you wont be getting new customers. I will never do business here.

The fresh meats look very nice but this review is about the catering side. Got some pit beef and pit ham for a party. Had heard great things about the pit beef, but this beef was sliced thick, not like a thick deli cut, this was like you would serve a roast on a dinner plate. Not exactly sandwich material, and certainly nothing like “pit beef” as I know it. having said that, it tasted good for a roast, which is more than I can say for the pit ham. it was also cut thick like the beef and it tasted like someone poured a whole gallon of liquid smoke on it.

LOVE THIS PLACE! Ask for Priscilla-she really knows the products and provides EXCELLENT customer service!!!! The quality and selection of meats, side dishes and jerky are great. I purchased a variety of products including sausage, jerky, coleslaw and 2 custom cut 2" filet mignon's I cooked on the grill that were fabulous. You'll be glad you stopped here.

Always fantastic. Love their stand at the Hanover Amish Markets! Fantastic staff. Dan is a great Butcher. Christin(sp) is always very helpful in ordering specialty things for me. Live their specialty sausages and grass fed beef. The entire staff is always great.

Today got a free range, locally grown turkey for Christmas dinner. Great choice of local meats, beef, Pork, chicken, etc. Plus home made sides, spices, candy etc. One note, bring cash though they will take checks. No credit cards. I buy all year and always happy.

Stoney Point catered our 'night before the wedding' party. Chef Matt was amazing putting this together for us with one weeks notice. The food was delicious and tons of it! Will definitely use them again for a catered event!

Do not have them make burger patties.You might think a 1/3rd lbs patty would be rather thick... but you'd be wrong. Instead of a normal thicker patty, you get a massive 1/4 inch thick pancake sized patty. Then, they're not even vacuum sealed so every single burger is going to be freezer burned and tough. A complete waste of 20 lbs of ground beef that now means we have to power through our hamburger nights for the next several months instead of enjoying them.

The poor woman behind the counter had a deep cough and didn't wear gloves. Her sleeve absorbs most of the expectorant though. Against my better judgement, I did buy some things: The smoked sausage tasted bland and was pink inside. I tossed it. The bacon stuffed jalapeno and venison bologna were tasty, but I won't be back. Meyer's in Hanover is less expensive, better quality and mucus-free.

Lots of fresh meat like steak, sausage, and ground beef. Also deli meat, cheese, and vegetables as well as bottled sauces. Terrific local place with friendly service! They also did a lot to help the needy in the community during the COVID-19 crisis. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience, this statement will hurt me in the long run BUT OMG if you like jerky THEY MAKE THE BEST BEFF JERKY. But I will not share my favorite to protect them from not selling out of that flavor. When try it you'll be hooked like I am.

This is the BEST butcher! Grass fed beef available, but not the only kind. Friendly staff- this is the best kept secret butcher shop around! This our go-to for all our meats and chicken!

Worse place to get mulch dont know about there meats but the scoop of mulch they give you is not a yard and The much is in the grass so when they scoop it half of it is big mud balls. I could not even use half of it because it was big wet mud balls mixed with the mulch. Will not go back for mulch.
