Will never buy from any Lowe's again. Long story short, lost a days pay, have to pay interest on credit card, pay a driver and rental fee to buy from lowe's again. --Bought a washer and dryer black Friday. My mother received them both in December. The dryer did not work they took it back waited about two weeks for replacement. They were schuelded to come on Sunday never showed up rescheduled for the following Wednesday between 8am to 8pm NEVER showed up again, no call on either day that they were not coming. Lost a days pay waiting for them. Called next day was told it didn't even come in from the main warehouse. So my mother canceled it. She was told we would get a call on how we wanted a refund NEVER called got a refund gift card in the mail they will not put it back on her credit card because we canceled it, from one person called again another person said they won't because they already processed the refund card. Yes we canceled it because they can't be trusted to make deliveries when they are supposed. So now she has to pay the interest on her credit card and we do not drive (why we got delivery) so we now have to pay to rent a truck and pay someone to drive to the store to find something that's in stock at the store. Be really nice to not feel like we're forced to buy something from Lowe's when I feel they made their own mess.

Our fridge went out so we went to Lowes. The sales associate was so incredibly helpful and was able to answer every question, and there were many! We were able to get a delivery the next day. Another popular store, HD, said it would take 2 weeks to get a fridge. Lowes has always come through for us!!

Not to many places to buy hardware on Sundays. I try not to go to often because they never have anyone to check you out. If they are going to force everyone to check themselves out, they should give everyone an employee discount, that does it.

Needed a new bathroom facet. Not much selection for a single level MADE IN USA faucet.June 25, 2022 Update: 2 tubes of Silicone @ $9.98 each! Cost: $21.16 with tax! Needed to fix our camper.2/12/23: Tons of clearance. Picked up an RV plug for under $18!

This location needs Improvement. You can walk around the store for hours. Trying to find a product that is not in the correct location. The aisle is closed but no employee working the aisle. And this was over 1 hour, waiting to see who will show up to work the aisle. Pricing is not displayed or tag correctly. Trying to find employee on 2nd shift at this location 🤔 🤣. Card terminal are falling off the stand or not working.Manger (women) gets mad if a price was wrong and has to give the customer what was mark. Then the manger yells at the employee to remove the markdown now. And if you want the District Manger Name Good Luck No 1 will Tell You Their Name at the Courtesy Desk. Delivery person just drops your items and leaves doesn't let you know Lowe's Delivered your items. The Problem is Lowe's know this is the only store close and customer are STUCK with this Bad Behavior so why Change!All other Locations are 47 & 68 miles away.

I was in the tile aisle for about 10 minutes literally in the middle of figuring out my project and the employees came into the aisle with their lift and told me I needed to leave the aisle for several minutes. I was in the middle of something and I had to leave?? Needless to say, I left my cart and all my items and won't be back. I told customer service on the way out and she didn't even apologize, just blankly looked at me. I hope it was worth making me leave the aisle. They totally lost my business while we're in the middle of completely remodeling two houses right now.

My experience at the Lewistown PA Lowe's location has been horrible. I've ask for help several times and no one has the patience or the care to assist anyone in need. They just direct you to an isle but do not ensure you find the item needed. Very poor attitudes and very poor customer service l!!!

Went to the store to purchase a Appliances for my home! Found what I was looking for and at checkout they told me Veterans do not get discounts on Appliances, lumber and some other products!Way to go Lowe's for showing the Veterans where u stand! Someone in the corporate office doesn't enjoy there freedom!

If you're lost looking for that part or misc item and your walking back n forth confused or even standing in one spot for so long it sure doesn't take long for a lowes employer to come ask if they can assist!!! Great costumer service employees are always so wonderful here!!!

I bought my dryer here about a year ago… the buying experience was okay I guess, but the delivery was absolutely awful. The drivers (subcontractors, btw) spoke very little, if any, English and were completely unhelpful. I’ve been in a few times since then and most of the staff was rude *if* they were even around. Because of this, I’m not super eager to do any more business with them.Honestly, really the only cool thing about this store is that you can bring your pets in. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I checked the website to confirm that this location had the item I needed. The website said there were 9 available at this store.. When I arivied at the store the item I wanted was not on the shelf. I asked a worker for assistance. She did check the shelves and said they did not have the item. I explained what I saw on the website. She then checked the website and saw that they were to have 9 in stock. I asked her if it was possible that they were in the back storage area. After checking the shelves again and the website, she continued to insist they did not have it in stock. I asked her several times to check in the back storage area to no avail. So I agreed to have her order one to be shipped to the store. I recieved a text saying my order was received at 2:16PM. At that point I returned home. At 3PM I received a text that my order was ready for pick up. Now I am really angery. The item was indeed in the back storage room all along. I don't think the employee wanted to be bothered. This is not the first time i encountered incompentent staff at the Lewistown PA store. Sorrys just arent cutting it anymore.

The countertops and cabinet’s department had been an absolute disaster. Initially they messed up and charged me 21,000 dollars for an 8,000 dollar order. Thankfully I was able to look through things and realize they made a colossal error and they took care of things. Today, when the countertops came they were a full foot short on the ends…. Easily putting us another 8 weeks behind. The people have been nice but utterly incompetent. If anyone has any questions I will gladly tell everyone about our experiences. My advice is to triple check everything and honestly, probably just go somewhere else for your countertops and cabinets.

They don't sell lawn mower throttle cables in store anymore. Check on the website for what is in store before you bother going to look to avoid being lost and confused. Nothing really jumps out that sets this Lowes apart.

Most of the associates don't know a thing. I ordered over 3 grand worth of carpet to be installed last September, and the installers did a less than mediocre job. I called lowes to have them come fix it, with no results. I went in the store in person to let them know, zero results again. I even called corporate. I've left multiple messages for the store manager who is never in, not one call back. I ended up fixing the problems myself. I've spent over 15k at the store last year alone. They will never get another dollar of my business again. I have more complaints than I can list. Save yourself the time and frustration and go to APM, or drive to State College and go to Home Depot.

Went back to appliances and figured I'd have the usual employee who makes you feel like you're an inconvenience and a bother. That's just what I sense from previous appliance shopping at Lowe's.What I found was to the contrary. A young lady, came over and asked what I was looking for, I told her an upright freezer and it she said we only have 1 in stock. So a quick look, I said we will take it.We went up front, I paid, I turned around and she had just wheeled it out to us, and she helped me load it into my pickup and we were out of there in a jiffy. My kind of shopping! Even more so I was pleased with the attitude of the young lady and the promptness of everything.

Big box hardware store that's pretty much what you'd expect. Sometimes it's hard to find a member of staff, most of the time it's pretty easy. Most of the staff are helpful but every once in a while you get one who clearly doesn't listen to your needs and is more interested in hearing themselves talk.There's a good selection here, as you'd expect for a store this size.I haven't worked with the Pro desk much but the times I have it's been about as painless as it's possible to imagine - when I needed a special order they worked out a price for me, took the order, kept me informed on progress. Hard to ask for more.Update, May 2022: Google asked me to update my review but there really isn't much to update. It's still a big box hardware store, it's still sometimes tricky to find a staff member and the staff are still generally helpful.

Great employees and clean store. Ever since they changed the way items are stocked the app often (half the time roughly) isnt showing the correct number of items in stock. I have noticed this with several Lowes stores in the area.

We all know that things are a bit out of the normal right now. However, if you offer curbside pick up as an option then you should have someone pickup the phone when a customer calls. I sat in the designed spot for 10 minutes calling and being rerouted. Finally I ask an associate who happened to be outside assisting another customer and all he told me was go inside. So I did and stood in 1 of 2 lines for 5more minutes until I noticed what appeared to be a Manager and I explained my issue. He took my order number and said my order would be out. I went to my car and waited another 5 minutes. I finally noticed an associate pushing a cart with what appeared to be my order coming from the lumber side. If it wasn't for Ken's kindness and customer service lowes would have got the worst review ever. I give KEN 10 stars!!! The management of this store 0. This is not the first time for bad service there but the first for receiving the kindness from an associate! Ken deserves promotion raise something because he turned the whole experience around!

Ordered about 14 things for in store pick up using a gift card. Online said it had everything in stock in store. I showed up about an hour after the store opened the stuff had not been picked yet... not a big deal took them about 20 minutes to get all but 4 things. The breakers online were discontinued had to get a different kind... not a big deal and the breaker box was not on their list of things to pick because it was on back order. Instead of 8 slots I got one with 6... still not a big deal and it was a bit cheaper, but then the cashier asks me to pay 40.49 and I asked why everything was paid for online? Well she had to cancel the order and they were mailing me gift cards in two weeks but if I wanted the three breakers and breaker box I had to pay now. After about 2 hours of arguing that that was unacceptable. Mid way through I was so mad I told them to cancel the whole order and there they tried loading it onto a gift card in the store and when I asked why didn’t they do that the first time instead of them mailing me one they gave me a bs excuse. Then they said they couldn’t cancel the order because it was made that day? I paid the 40 dollars to get everything I needed to do my job out of pocket and now I guess I have another 40 dollar gift card from the canceled items so good hustle Lowe’s scammed me out of 40 dollars. I hope Amazon and Home Depot make you go bankrupt with your poor customer service

Awful...could not get anyone in the paint dept. No one working that area.. Told associate at the desk about this. She came over & pushed the help button. Waited more than 20 minutes total & no one ever showed. Told the associate I was leaving & told her to cancel the page. She replied "ok" like she could care less. I will never purchase paint or paint supplies from Lowe's ever!!!!When left Lowe's I went straight to Sherman Williams which was not far from Lowe's & purchased everything I needed. Their custmer service was excellant & even took everything to my car since it was a large purchase!!!! One star for Lowe's 👎😡Had to give them 1 star or this would not post. My choice would be no stars!!!!!!!!

Usually has everything I am looking for and there is always a friendly staff member willing to help. The only reason I gave Lowe's 4 stars and not 5 would be because of the prices being kinda high. Overall, I am happy with shopping at Lowe's.

The company with no integrity. I went to this store 2 weeks ago to order a Weber Genesis grill. Saw that the display was damaged, pointed it out to the worker, and told him that I do not want the display delivered to me because of the damage - they had more grills in the back that had to be assembled. Actually this damaged display grill should not have been given to any customer, especially at full price. Last week, the grill was supposed to be assembled and delivered. No call, nothing. I had to call the store and was told that they would be assembling it this week and delivering it today. Well, what do you know? The same damaged grill that was on display was delivered. Obviously I told the workers to take it back to the store. Can’t believe they tried to deliver a damaged product to someone especially since I pointed it out to the worker 2 weeks ago. The store manager should be ashamed of the store that’s being run there. The company with no integrity.

This is my favorite store when it comes to dreaming up new projects! It has everything, the employees are friendly and helpful, and the store is organized an clean. The only thing I would change is the price of some items. I found a few products for less at Walmart. Lowe's has high quality products, of course, but it would be nice to have a few cheaper options as well.
