I honestly can't imagine taking him anywhere else; the level of care she gives really comes through in her work, and her care for him feels authentic. This was our first time utilizing Ashley’s services to groom our Standard Poodle, and we could not be happier! We gave Ashley a quick overview on the style cut we wanted, and she knocked it out of the park! The convenience of her coming to your home is awesome too! Our Bernese Mountain Dog is not easy to handle at 125 lbs but Ashley has no problems with him at all. She keeps him clean and well groomed and our house isn’t full of his rolling hair “tumbleweeds” anymore. My sister has two aging cats who are easier to groom at home instead of stressing them out with a drive to the groomer, and Ashley’s home visits to come and file their claws is a godsend. I highly recommend her services and she is a delight to work with as well.

The Grooming Geek is the only groomer I've ever taken my dog to where he feels comfortable. In fact, he feels so comfortable that he gets so excited every time he sees Ashley he runs to her with his tail wagging. This is incredible because I have a very nervous chihuahua with terrible separation anxiety. He doesn't even notice I'm gone when he's with Ashley. Thank you so much!!!

My wife and I and our two dogs live in Manhattan, where my wife works as a veterinarian. We could have our dogs groomed here in NYC, but we prefer to bring them to Ashley at the Grooming Geek in Lewisburg, a three hour drive away.Why? Because we've known Ashley for many years, and we know that she is not just an excellent groomer but a highly respected and competent business owner and an advocate for our dogs. We've watched her build her business day in and day out for many years now, and we are overjoyed by her success. We've recommended her many times.Both our dogs are rescues, and they need special attention because of their sad histories (Scarlett was abused in a puppy mill for five years, and came to us terrified of all humans; Babka was simply abandoned during a flood). Ashley understands this and does what's needed, and our animals always come back to us happy and healthy (not to mention gorgeous!).

First time trying this groomer. I would not recommend. Unprofessional environment. The service was quite expensive. $70 later, I brought my pet home, could not tell any difference - was suppose to have A hygiene shave and trim everywhere else. Only his feet and legs were wet. Did they even give him a bath?? Or just decided to cut corners and not blow dry or brush out. His tail is chopped terribly. Very disappointed.

Please do your due dillegence before leaving your fur babies in the hands of Ashley Dyer-Kazar. Her customer service skills are subpar and borderline demeaning. Due to pandemic safety restrictions, we must adhere to a "drop off and pick up" service so I have completely no clue what my pupper is going through (since this is ran out of Ashley's apartment... there are other places that have big windows you can look through from the outside which I will now consider). While I have gone to Ashley for my dog's grooming needs for the past year and a half, the most recent experience will be our LAST. I found a NICK on my dog after her groom. I was very upset and confronted Ashley but she scolded me saying she saw it there before starting the groom. I had taken my dog to the vet the other day for a full body check up and the doctor found no problems. After the groom, I immediately took my dog to the vet for a quick check on the nick and she confirmed it was likely due to a razor cut! While mistakes do happen, I do not appreciate Ashley's dishonestly in order to keep her ego. She just lost a customer for it! Additionally, most of the reviews you see for The Grooming Geek are from Ashley's friends which is fine but totally bias and lowers validity! Do you research and keep your fur babies SAFE!EDIT TO ADD: In reply to Ashley's response, I did not say anywhere about my issues with the mask policy. I am completely 100% IN COMPLIANCE for masking and the safety of others so please do not make such an ACCUSATION that I did not want to mask which I did. I only wrote about your "drop off/pick up" policy so others are aware. And good addition that you offer Zoom for clients. Yes, this is America as you wrote, and I am fully entitled to leave my honest review which you are deeming as a lie! I'm sorry you are sensitive to negative reviews, but consumers should know the BAD experiences that do occur. I am only looking out other pet owners.

Had the Grooming Geek make a house call for a new kitten I found. She taught me how to clip that cats nails and gave her a flea bath. Very knowledgeable, and happy to give advice to a first time cat owner. Highly recommended!

Fabulous work- we have two standard poodles and they come out looking lovely, most importantly, they are always calm, both about going and afterwards. Much less stressed than they have been at other groomers.

I didn't have an issue taking one of my pugs to Ashley, but when my wife brought in our other pug, we were very disappointed in the experience. My pug is overweight, and while he's currently under the care of a veterinarian addressing the issue and the medical condition that has contributed to the weight gain, Ashley took attitude with my wife and proceeded to lecture her about how much we should be feeding him etc. The groom itself and nail trim were fine, but I didn't appreciate the judgmental nature of this interaction. We take good care of our animals, and there was no reason for this confrontation, especially with the groomer having no knowledge of the pug's medical background or current care. We brought him to the Grooming Geek to be groomed - for veterinarian advice, we see a veterinarian. Our dogs are like our children. What if I took my son to get his hair cut and the stylist made derogatory comments about his weight and how we should be taking better care of him? This was not an appropriate contact and we will not be visiting in future.

This girl knows what she is doing, and her passion for her job is unbeatable -- I have personally used their services for getting my dog's nails cut, and along with the quality of the cut (my dog has proved too wiggly for many other groomers) I was also beyond impressed with their procedures followed during this covid-19 pandemic -- they did not bend the law to take clients before they were legally able, and they continue to make it clear that wearing personal masks and keeping their customers as safe as possible is high priority
