This location was just okay! It was clean inside and organized and stocked well. But my experience with ordering food wasn't the best - it took a while and the sandwich came out very soggy! Otherwise, it was good tasting. I'd return here but this first visit here was so-so.

I always enjoy stopping in and grabbing a bite to eat and I have even taken breaks here before… food is great and service has been good… the only thing that aggravates me is this… and it’s not so much Rutters fault as much as it’s the Drivers fault…. 1st off being a OTR driver on the road for 3-4 weeks at a time u have to find places to park and also eat…. Where on the other hand you got day cab drivers that park and go home every night and also eat supper at home… my point is this… I stopped in and there was more than 4 trucks taken up spots that paying customers could have parked… so that means Rutters is losing money on sales because drivers think this is a parking garage… if you drive a day cab park it at your office or local lot or take it home …have enough respect not to take up spots for the whole weekend for drivers trying to eat and sleep and can’t find spots..

I went to Rutter’s at around 4 AM at 04/07/2024 and I order food. Then person making the food was very disrespectful. He called my number up, just to tell me that the food I order was frozen and that he had to cook it. He gave me a substitute but I was kind of forced to accept it because he was intimidating me to accept it. Terrible and absolutely unprofessional service.

I ordered a sub around 10:50 at night. I waited for 20 minutes and 1 guy was doing things at the sub station, probably filling it, and another guy was just cleaning. Neither of them acknowledge me. I finally asked if someone is making my sub, and it almost seem like I was a nuisance by thrm just saying yes, which they were not. It took them around 20 - 25 minutes to make 1 sub. This is very poor customer service.

Restroom was dirty, the lights went out while I was in the stall, and when I mentioned this to the clerk he laughed and said "just wave your hand above your head". I said "I did but they didn't come back on" and he laughed and said "whatever" and rolled his eyes. Not very polite, and certainly not professional. I will not be back to this Rutters.

I like this place. It it has a spacious parking lot, well designed, stocked and maintained store. Everything inside and outside is very clean. Food selection and it's quality are average. Drink options are above average.

I usually come here for parking on deliveries a few towns over. Place is always clean, stocked, except for windshield washer fluid that I needed, but a gallon of water and dawn dish soap this time of year cured that problem. Kids are always nice in the store never any problems. The menu items are kind of pricey for what you get it's like shrinkflation real small proportion, but unfortunately looks what's going on. Food is good, people are nice and store was clean. Good stop 👍

I violently threw up after eating 3 of the four crab cake sliders and about 3 of the onion rings 3 hours after consuming. I haven’t anything to eat since the night before so it wasn’t anything else. I found the food handlers eh, all about themselves except the only male. Pre occupied with their own conversations couldn’t seem to get a hello except the male. Male cashier had the right attitude. Store seemed clean in and out. There is nothing else that could have create this bodily reaction except the food I ordered.

Omg, the food was delicious. I couldn't decide what to order due to unique and great selection. Great layout inside and out, as well as clean and orderly. Staff (food side) were funny, hustled, and I'm not sure...but I think we're best friends now🤔 .

I dont often leave reviews unless they're really good or really poor. That being said, this is a fine truck stop. It may only have 20 truck spaces or so, but the overall size of the parking lot to maneuver around in is huge. The inside of the store is large, well laid out, good selection of snacks and drinks, hot food is served at the grill, the restrooms are clean and adequate, and the staff is friendly. I'd stop here again if I was ever in the area again, thanks.

Not a truck stop!People seem to think that just because there's a diesel island and truck parking it's a truck stop. No! Don't expect showers, a microwave, laundry or a lounge. I appreciate this convenience/food store having truck parking. It's a good place for a good sandwich, an adult slushy and a place to park a semi.

The place has a good selection and is fairly clean, but, WOW—ZERO customer service and super rude staff. Tonight’s cashier was yelling across the store at someone, over and over, will customers waited. She completely ignored the woman standing in front of me and the two kids OBVIOUSLY shoplifting candy. When my time at the register came, she got surly with me because it took me more than 3 seconds to retrieve cash from my pocket. No smile. No greeting. No “thank you,” “ come again,” “have a nice day.” Might be time to re-train and weed out your staff.Also, why no left out of your parking lot? Makes no sense. It’s not a busy highway? That’s probably the borough not you but something to consider…

Gas is 5-10 cents more to compensate for their rewards. Huge selection of drinks and snacks. Aside from the gas, their food prep area always takes 20 min or more. Everyone is nice and friendly. Bathrooms are clean and so is the whole store. Get your food prep faster and i will up to 4 stars. Lower your gas price as well and youll get 5 stars. Not a bad place.

Clean facilities, great selection, and good food for a gas station. Checkout people are busy chatting amongst themselves and don't greet you. Also had to wait 18 minutes on my stromboli, but the kitchen staff was apologetic and thanked me for being patient, and gave me a free dessert, so that was great.

I didn’t know there would be an MTO-style food joint that is slower than the Sheetz in New Holland but there is!Higher prices for everything in the store + an incredibly long wait time on MTO food. It’s unbelievable how a place like this can exist.Do better.

Pretty nice, convenient, clean. They seem to go through a lot of employees though, always seeing new inexperienced people and I wish it weren't on the city side of Leola. There's one usual guy on the register early morning during the week who should probably be running the place, he's great.

This place has ok food and lots of drink selections, but hold on to your knickers and tighten up that sphincter when they cleaning the bathroom. I came in when it was pretty busy, and the lady that was cleaning the bathroom wouldn't let me in. Sneering at me from behind her custodians cart, she said it'll be a few minutes, so I went orderd my food, and came back about 10 minutes later. I knocked on the door and she yelled.... IM NOT DONE, I GOTTA DO THE FLOOR YET.... Holy hell lady, can't you find a less busy time to wash the bathroom floor? Anyways, poor customer service but good food. So tread carefully when around the cleaning lady, she'll bite your face off if you have to pee.

Gas prices higher than most. Appalled at the charge for AIR in your tires. While the store itself is well maintained, customer service is not a priority. This location is not high tourist traffic, and does not warrant the high prices! Will drive the extra miles to another station.

All I wanted was a simple little pizza and the dough was under cooked. I when it to get it remade and it was still undercooked. The lady told me I guess the only thing we can do is burn it!! Smh I wonder if she said that cause I as black or was she mad because she couldn’t get it right.

I've been here one time and I was impressed. Huge property with tons of pumps and easy access. Clean store, nice sub and mozz sticks, and they sent out plenty of coupons.
