This Giant has gotten terrible with checking out. The self check out machines are set to high for sensitivity. It takes way to long for people to check out. The store is not to clean and make sure you go to the bathroom before going grocery shopping because the public rest room in the dairy section is absolutely disgusting.

They had 1 cashier and long line, self checkout was worse choice because all 4 had system issues where item to bag would fault. The unfortunate service desk/front end person had to run between 4self checkouts lines frantically resetting scanners, she reset ours at least 10 times, we were not pleased.

So we purchased special themed balloons online. We called Saturday morning to ask if you blow up balloons that are purchased from someplace else. The person said yes $1.49. So we arrive to get them filled and the lady asked what price we were told. I said $1.49. In a very nasty tone she said oh no they are $4.99. So why did you ask me what the person answering the phone said if you already knew the price. My take on the situation was the person went to tell the produce person I was coming. So then they said $1.49 she said no they are $4.99. I paid the $4.99 but not very happy about it!

I only go here because it's close and convenient. I understand this place is small, but I really wish you'd really do something about the staff. Half the time they are completely clueless when it comes to the products they carry. They don't know what I'm talking about, don't know if they have it or where it is. Some are better than others. But some of the cashiers are completely rude. They don't even acknowledge me and are talking to other staff members about... whatever as they scan my groceries. If I go to the Giant in Ephrata it's a world of difference. Knowledgeable and friendly staff make it a much better shopping experience.

I won't be back after today. The deli was closed (is it even open, most the times it is closed and you have to get your deli meats from the freezer that sits beside the deli) at 4, even though there was someone in the area(on their phone). No one behind the meat counter either as the phone rang off the hook. Two check out lanes open, but only one cashier even maning the register working. There were two girls by the exit doors, sharing stories and looking at their phones. Not even a have a nice night, or thank you for shopping when I left, just giggling and laughing about whatever were on their phones.

I shopped at the Giant in Leola, Pa. Today, did not have my bonus card due it being on the other key chain with my car in repair shop. This was explained to the clerk. He would not give the discount and stated I needed a card and have to start another account. I shop at the Lancaster Lancaster Shopping Center alot and stated this. He refused to give me the card discount. I'm done with this store and will tell anyone who asks. I did have a high regard for Giant but not so much now Lancaster

I like shopping at the Giant. My only grumble is that they never seem to have any gallons of Spring water when I go there. When I enquired about it at Customer Service, I was told they don't usually order very much of it. Just seems odd to me. I could understand if this were back during the Pandemic but it's always out when I shop there.

Good store but check-out experience was a new low. Cashier took pride in her sub-par performance. Customers in front of me all bagged their own groceries as she stood there and watched. She took long pauses between customers to the point we all stood there with question marks as she summoned the energy to hand over a receipt. She said she was just "taking it all in" as she stood there, and then referenced the hours left in her shift. If there was an Olympics for least effort, she would win! The young male cashier next to her was the complete opposite scanning, bagging and thanking customers. There were only two cashiers late Sunday afternoon. I am withholding the dreadful cashier's name.

Giant is always clean, great selections, fresh produce. Friendly staff. Nice wide aisles, lots of small-size & regular-size carts. A mix of self-checkout and cashiers.

The staff is nice enough. Location is good. Store seems clean. Selection is lacking, however. Zero fresh fish and seafood. What the heck. I wanted peel-and-eat shrimp. All they had was a pre-package frozen tray. On another occasion I wanted to get fresh salmon to grill. The only thing they had was a poor selection of frozen.

Good shopping experience! Good selection, fair prices. Some Giant stores I've been to would have received 5 stars, and the word "great" in place of "good"... This store is a good, average Giant store. I was not asked by one of the store personnel if they could help me? Sorry, the tag line on the red smocks isn't the same...

This store won't be around for much longer. I walked in, 3 employees saw me, no one said good morning. After walking around the entire store I found what I was looking for. When I went to check out and employee saw me struggling to find a lane to check out in, I was the only customer. When I finally asked if any lane was open she told me the self check out lanes were open, like I was a moron. Not kind. I will not be back, this is why corporations will be a thing from the past. You suck!

Even though I live less than a mile from this store, I don't shop here unless I have to. You have to check the expiration dates on everything, which I found out after buying ten hour old fried chicken. Yogurt is also a no no here, it's typically woefully out of date. The staff usually isn't friendly or helpful, and it's surprising when one of the cashiers says more than what my total comes to. Could be a great little store with some effort, unfortunately it seems they rely on their monopoly as the only non-discount grocery store in town to survive.

This location used to be open 24/7. Now they close at some ridiculous time, like 10 pm.They have a couple of electric vehicle chargers next to spaces if people are wondering.

Really bright, clean, well-stocked super market. No waiting to check out (on a Saturday afternoon)! Friendly staff associates. Good sales going on every week. Prices of their store brand items are worth the savings, as they are made by the big-name companies. Pharmacy just inside the door. Bakery items are enticing --- lots and lots of cookies, brownies, cakes, doughnuts, bread and rolls of all sorts and descriptions. And all delightfully delicious! Great shopping here!

Restroom was very dirty and smelling like urine and the waste basket was full of trash.Great customer service. Friendly cashier's. Today around 8 pm 11/21/18. I would have given a five star but the restroom did not make my day. Sorry.

Got a chicken sandwich for lunch to find out it was completely raw. Called and told the girl who answered and she did not even seem to care. No refund was offered until I asked about it. I've been going to this store since inception and it is a complete hole with employees who have never cared about anything. I continue to abuse myself by going only because it's the closest option for me especially at lunch. They got one star because I can't rate it any lower!

Employee are very nice, the stores merchandising is confusing, you can buy a product type on one aisle and find a different name brand, same product, on a completely different aisle, makes it hard to compare. Also small thing but have different types of music playing for all customers to appreciate, I don't want to listen to country my entire shopping experience if I don't like the music type, switch it up so everyone has a genre for a song or two.

A clean well stocked facility. This is what you expect to find when shopping at a Giant store. They meet expectations for cleanliness and variety of products on the shelf. I do not necessary like the way items are organized but I know that the like all Supermarkets the layout is designed to entice you to make impulse buys, you know, while you are there. (The science behind human purchasing nature.)

I always enjoy this Gaint food store it's small but still carry a lot of things. Shelves are usually will stack. Only today Deer park water was on sale and they didn't have any out on the floor which sucked.

This is one of the nicer Giant food stores in the Lancaster area, you going to attribute that to the type of people in the surrounding area. Great selection of local grown produce, the store is bright and clean and this is what attracts customers. I usually shop at this one though it's a little further from my home, but it's worth it.

This store is horrible. Everything is bad...produce expired bread turns moldy within days. Tbey never have anything u need! Workers dont know where anything is. Store hadnt been updated in YEARS! Adding a plantain doesn't mean they have a Spanish section. I'd drive 30 miles to a grocery store to avoid Leola Giant! II would NEVER recommend this store to anyone!!!
