The new manager, the older lady with the blonde hair, is so disrespectful and unappreciative to her employees. Every time I am in the store she is berating an employee for something that was out of their control. This used to be my favorite dollar general to shop at but it is slowly becoming an unpleasant experience to feel all of the tension and stress among the employees while shopping in this store. Other customers are noticing too. I hope for the sake of the few good employees that this store has left that they are able to get a better manager or the current manager receives training on interpersonal communication.

Saturday, April 13 @ 8:30 p.m. - Woman working the night shift was super disrespectful. Myself and 6 other customers were in line for self check out, worker was nowhere to be found... when she walked back to the register she yelled at us in a mean tone to come up.

I was hoping the remodel would bring the store to another level. Unfortunately it doesn't seem like that happened. The store is still a wreck. There's some new staff members who are friendly and helpful but unfortunately some of the old seem to be sticking around. It's Not Unusual to have every staff member outside at once on a smoke break. It's difficult to maneuver in the store even with the new floor plan because they're always giant metal carts around for unloading new stock. It's difficult to even get a cart through the aisles because there are so many large pallets around. It's like they never get done restocking the shelves! I've actually seen management steal coupons off of laundry detergent. The store looks wonderful now but it's a shame that there can be a giant mess in the toy aisle or product all over the floor and employees will walk straight past it. I'll keep going because it's convenient and only a couple blocks away from my house. Everything is also Priced Right but I just wish it was taken care of better.

The only reason i come to this dollar general is because of one employee there...DEB. She is the sweetest,most compassionate, and awesome person. She is always working her tail off and you can genuinely tell she loves what she does and the people she sees. Even though it's just a lower end viewed kind of job. Give that women a raise....store is a lot nicer than some I have been in.

A really well-stocked store. Apparently does a great business, cuz carts of shipments are always sitting there waiting to be shelved. The associate today and other times I have shopped here is very pleasant and extremely helpful. She needs roller skates for all the moving around she does in the store! Give her a raise!

This one sucks. They never restock the shelves, but instead keep the restock carts parked in the aisles but the same things are always empty 9n the shelves. I've come here over a month and it is exactly the same. The employees do not restock at all! I will go 20 extra miles to another Dollar General, just to avoid this one.

It was well organized, and had an amazing inventory. I found things that I couldn’t find in other stores. The check out clerk was efficient and kind. A great experience.

I go to Dollar General's all round Lancaster County and this by far is my favorite!! The service is always friendly and they have a large grocery section. I didn't give it 5 stars because DG needs to have more than 1 employee on at a time. Sometimes there are 2 but it's rare. This causes stock items left in aisles making it hard to get around with the cart or you have to go another way, unstocked shelves and long lines at the register. Most times you have to wait or look around for a cashier. I know this is a corporate issue as I ask about my concerns while I am at the different locations. Despite the employees having the overwhelming challenge of running the register, stocking the shelves, helping customers, cleaning, etc. they remain friendly and professional.

Place is clean, love the upgrade of the dtore, however when ready to cash out,an emploee was restocking the candies on the only open register. I politely said excuse me, I'd like to place my items on counter, she told me to go ahead...I had to reach over her and again as I used my debit card. Did not move any of her boxes or her body. Not good.

I really like this Dollar General store because I think it is the nicest Dollar General store in the area. It's a little bit more organized and cleaner than most. And the manager Deb is just a doll!

I was just in the store and the Manager Shane, was extremely rude. It's not my fault employees don't stock things right and an item I was buying was in the wrong spot. They should've honored that price, he very rudely said no we shouldn't. I didn't buy anything in there and will not return.

Since there has been changes with managers, this place has been a mess especially when shipments come in and the carts just sit there. It's ok if you just need the basic foods i.e. bread, milk and cereal.

This is one of the better run Dollar generals in the area. They upgraded their store about maybe about two years ago? And they have a good selection of items and it is pretty clean and organized.

Good selection and great prices. Store is a bit cramped. Sales associates aren't always helpful and there seems to be a high turnover rate in regards to the staff.

Hire a stock person. Better yet, hire a stock person who actually stocks the shelves. There are more carts with boxes of goods than there are stocked shelves. This applies to the New Holland store as well as Leola.

It's ok. But check the dates on food and drinks purchased there. I was going to buy a cold Starbucks drink and it looked funny so I looked at the date and it was April 1 2019 and I was there on Saturday April 20. Told the cashier and he acted like he could careless.

I go to the Dollar general store for a lot of things in need... for 10 years I have been going there .. I always find something that I need ... check out the bathroom nice and clean..

My go-to spot for random little items. Fire-starter lighters to tiny apple juice bottles to leftovers containers. Everything is NOT a dollar, but it's cheap!
