Helpful employees, wheelchair-accessible doors and parking, restrooms, a large selection of groceries (including kosher items), and a standard inventory of essentials for a grocery store but very expensive pricing when compared to pricing at other stores such as Giant, Weis, or Walmart! Lastly, based on word of mouth from a family member a good place of employment, friendly coworkers, decent wages (considering the type of work), they do hire the disabled and seniors looking for supplemental income and very helpful managers!FYI: To respect the privacy of others I applied emoji stickers to the faces of people in my review pics!

I like Karns for their meat deals. Always something good going on with their chicken and sausage. I’m young enough to remember when Karns was on the other side of the plaza and had that weird smell. Now that I’m an adult I don’t know if that smell lessened or I’ve just grown to appreciate the fact that that smell of a fresh butcher. They sell local and popular brands as well. Not to mention their spice and international aisles are my favorites though. So many cool options.

Mainly everything is fine with the Lemoyne store, prices tend to run higher. But my main complaint is the Essential brand gallon size purified drinking water. It has a bitter after taste. Also they should provide in store internet for their customers.

They got rid of one of my favorite food item. John F Martin smoked turkey thighs. I was not a happy shopper. Out of 3 items, I was only able to get 1 of what I actually wanted today.

I have to say, I stopped going here for quite a while, and I recently returned. The crew they have here now are amazing, kind, and polite. I'll definitely return.

Done with Karns. I have lived in the area for 2 years and Karns was my go to for meat until…. I picked up their bulk strip steak special and was terribly disappointed the quality of the meat has gone way down hill. The steaks have no marbling and are more like mock steaks than anything else. They have upped their prices considerably so you might as well shop at Wegmans at least you know that they are giving quality for your hard earned money.

Ok I'm done here. First off all your stores smell as if the air vents have never been cleaned. You can smell it the minute you walk in. Bacteria like that in the air can make people sick. Also consider getting a number system at your meat counter. There's no way for the understaffed department to keep track of who's next in line. With all the money you make it's not like you can't afford either suggestion.

I had nothing but rude employees at the hot food section on 8/23/2023 at 9:54 am.You will now lose my family, and my friends coming here.Customer service is top priority, and i have continually have had a bad experience here.

In my opinion Karns has the best grocery store meat department in PA. Everything is always fresh and the staff is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. This location in Lemoyne is my go to store in my area for any kind of meats. I highly recommend trying them out if you haven't already!

At 6PM on Saturday, I stopped in to get some salmon. I was the only one in line and the gentleman behind the counter ( a thin older black man ) was busy, so I figured he would wait on me after he was done. A lady approached him and he immediately began to serve her. At that time I told him that I was next in line. He responded, "You didn't say anything so how was I to know that you were going to order". I replied, "well what do you think I was doing, staring at the fish" ? At that time a young black gentlemen waited on me and I received the quality service that Ihave always gotten for the 30+ years I have been shopping at your store. The employee who waited on me first, needs to be given a course in customer service.

Karns is the best. Butchers are the best. If you can't get it from the farm or a farmers market, karns is your next stop. Nice bulk selection.Great employees and owners! I love that this is my hometown store.

Karns is my go to store for groceries, particularly meats. The meat selection is always fresh and as far as I'm concerned the best around between all other stores, including the dreaded Wal Of Mart.The staff is always friendly and willing to help if you can't find something. The meat prices I'd say even though high, are lower than competitors but like I said above, the meat can't be beat so it's worth the money.

Temporarily in the area and was needing a grocery store and found Karns. Very pleased with first time visit and product selection. They had everything we were looking for. Nice size store and very clean. The employees were helpful in answering a couple questions of item locations and the cashier was exceptional and really nice and friendly. Enjoyed shopping here and the nice customer service. We are here for a couple more weeks and this will be the go to store.Keep up the good work.

Absolutely disgusted I had a party in which I ordered a cake which was done amazing the bakery was fabulous on their end but the deli department I am so mad about I went and placed an order for a 6-ft sub in which they cut my order in half gave me a 3 ft order and then never called me never discuss any changes to my order I arrived to pick up my order to come to this conclusion that I now have a 3-ft sub instead of a 6-ft sub now I have to order pizza just to make sure that everyone is able to eat they wanted to make a meat tray and so forth in which I would have to buy bonds and all kinds of condiments for which I'm not doing I planned for subs which that's what I wanted so I didn't have time to sit there and wait then to come to and then they said that the buns were frozen I told them I wanted my order completely comped in which they did which by means I deserve to have that comped but I am just solely disgusted by this especially when it was for a party to go there to be expected to pick up a 6-ft sub and then they handed me a 3-ft sub

Their meat is absolutely fabulous! The cuts are magnificent! I have been a meat cutter for over 25 years and I go into places just to inspect their meat and I know where I am going to buy meat from now on! They trim their meat to perfection! Their prices are great also! I think I found my new grocery store!

Considering they brag about their deli the Meat was super disappointing. Got 3 different steaks that looked okay on the top-facing side but as soon as I took them home the bottoms were purple/black.Prices are a bit higher than other stores and their produce had a pretty small selection. Nice high school kids working but man oh man do they have some interesting personalities!

This place is really great, I just wish I lived closer so I could go more often. They have a cool selection of international treats, snacks and other foods, if you are interested in trying new things.Their meat department is also the best I have been to inside of a grocery store. They have a huge selection, knowledgeable staff, and great quality. Even compared to the other Karns Foods in the area, I would say that this is the best one I have ever been to.

Wide variety of foods. Great sales and marked down items and friendly staff. Sales run Tuesdays through Monday. Always interesting to see what's going on sale. Plus Senior Citizen day is on Tuesdays where they can get 5% off their total bill.

The selection and quality of their fresh meats and seafood are unsurpassed in the area. Their service is consistently prompt and professional, yet cordial and relaxed. For the most part, they offer a much broader variety of products, and a more complete selection within product and brand lines.The downside? The items that other stores carry are typically more expensive at Karns. Advertised specials are competitive and sometimes outstanding, but if price is your deciding factor, it's unlikely that Karns will be your exclusive grocer.

The meat department here has not ever been able to successful fulfill my order when I try to order ahead. Other Karns locations seem to have no problem. Now today I was told I can only but 10lbs of chicken. I have been buying in bulk and meal prepping since they opened. I eat 3,800 calories a day and have a family of 4. How does this new policy keep me and my family stay safe if I need to visit more frequently. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Their meat section is one of the best, I always get the 10 piece bucket of chicken and it is just pure heaven. For a decent price and great quality of food. However they could work on their produce, most of the time they don't have such good ones.

I really like Karns, but I think their meat quality has gone downhill. Have tried the whole 12lb NY strip steak three different times. Was great the first time, other two times very tough. I will not being trying a fourth time.The seafood is very good, sausage and bacon are great also.
