I purchased a mailbox online because I wanted a blue one and I purchased a flamingo mail flag but I had no idea how to attach it so that it worked correctly. I brought them both into Ace and Scott at the service desk went over and above to figure out how to make it all work together. We discussed it together and tried various things until ultimately, he got it figured out. That guy deserves a raise! Thanks again, Scott. I installed it today and it looks great!

Buyer beware as I purchased Xmas lights after season and the sign said no rainchecks but no mention anywhere of no returns despite the fact register receipt says " return seasonal merchandise for 7 days". Wrote note to ownership as shopped here for 30 years but they didn't even feel a response was needed. Another reason local hardware stores are closing as neither Home Depot or Lowes would have refused to return $6 . Especially since I was there to spend $50.

This is a great Hardware Store! The staff are always friendly and helpful, prices are fair and the store selection is great. Clark Kensington paints are the best value for the money. We did a room to room comparison to Benjamin Moore Regal line and liked the Clark Kensington paint better.

This hardware store is a bit bigger than my local one. They have more selections. Even some patio brick and I really enjoy finding seasonal items year round. They have a nice section dedicated to wild birds here.

Not only is this a neighborhood hardware store, it has all the newest home and grilling gear, as well. They happily ordered me a specific color of resin chair that I just “had to have”, then they called me when the order came in and held it in the back until I could make it in. I am from Duncannon, but I regularly drive to the Camp Hill area to shop. This store is one of my regulars. I upgraded my Weber grill last summer at Hepfer’s and was so charmed with the goods and good service, that I just keep going back!

Normally a decent place but was not welcomed when I walked in nor asked if I needed help by an associate. Fortunately I know this store pretty well so not a big deal. I did spend over $100.00 on my purchase and when asked if I had an ace reward card I said yes but couldn’t remember the phone number. I then asked the young man at the counter if he could pull it up by name instead and he said he couldn’t do that. As a former Ace employee, I know that can be easily accomplished but this associate had no interest in actually helping me so I made my purchase and left. I will going to Riverside Hardware in Middletown from now on.

I have been a customer of Hepfers store for about 20 years. Always pleasant and helpful employees. Recently I purchased an item that I was hoping would work well for my needs. After using it for a few times and not liking the results, I returned the item and Tim accepted the return without hesitation. He was considerate of my situation. I think he knows that I will likely be back for some other purchase soon. Just great people with great service. Thank you.

Employees did not seem interested in helping. 2 never left the counter in the back and when I asked a question, they hardly responded. I never had an employee not come out to provide assistance before. It should be noted. They were Not busy.

Proximity to Lemoyne is crucial for me.... We had a small project and I had to go back 4 times. So it helped. Well maintained and stocked. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Definitely the place for paint.... Again they help you locate and color match if needed.

What a great, local hardware store.You will not find more helpful staff at the big box stores. Prices are reasonable and they are always having great sales, like buy one, get one half off gallons of paint. Best not wasting gas running down the crowded Carlisle Pike to the box stores. Shop local!

Good parking, fair prices, staff super easy to find/work with/ask questions of, lots of variety in stock.For such an innocuous building it holds A LOT of varied items that some of the larger stores are out of. The prices are comparable, but a lack of vet discount may turn you away. Other than that, enjoy candyland inside with a clean, well lit store and helpful staff.

Service is always friendly.Sales persons acknowledge you and are available for assistance because this type of store merchandise carried can sometimes require help. Customer Loyalty program rewards you with $ off thru mail.Home and Garden section has most anything a homeowner may need. I'm always thanked by checkout person.

Good access and parking.Small town service with big city prices.The store staff will go out of their way to answer questions and find you what your looking for, for some this maybe worth the extra cost. Good selection of diverse hardware store items. Plumbing and Electrical departments are better than the big box stores.

Fantastic service and product selection. Every time I go there they seem to have what I need and reasonably priced. Getting ready to purchase our third gas grill, all perfectly meeting expectations! They assemble, deliver and setup. Owner is very personable and makes you feel completely welcome.
