Took my old English sheepdog for a bath. The staff was wonderful and so helpful. Bath facilities worked perfectly and made giving my dog a bath so easy.

The best variety locally for pet toys treats and supplies. Gave my puppy her first bath here which she was hesitant about but ended up coaxing her in. She was able to get a deep clean with shampoo they supply. It was super easy and now she’s the cleanest and softest she’s ever been. I couldn’t be happier.

Me and my mom brought 2 of our dogs here and they were all very nice. The one guy there answered all of our questions and unlike most pet stores he was right and if he didn't know he sd so. Also it is set up and put together really well. The only thing I wasn't so sure about was their prices. But other than that it was an amazing experience definitely going back soon!!!

I would have gave this a full 5 stars had it not been for the Manager Bill at the Lehighton store. He is not qualified to work there let alone run the place. I have heard a lot of talk about others that had problems with him as well. Other than that the store itself is great! The girls that work there are very pleasant and helpful. I love the selection and quality of everything I had seen in there. I love my dogs that much that even after my run in with the inexperienced manager I still go back.

I absolutely LOVE this store. Last night I went in with my dog, Grayson, and was flooded with compliments about him from the girl behind the counter. She asked me what I was in for and I responded with I’m just here for food. When I was done shopping and had everything she help me carry the dog food out to the car. I also bought a new toy which broke then by the time we got home (a hugglehound). I called to ask what I could do and they’re giving me an exchange. Love this store.

was in the day before and told whoever the guy was that we wanted our dogs paws to be cut and nails trimmed. Took our name and said we'd be back the same time tomorrow. Went today and no one there knew of us coming and the groomer was busy doing a dog she had to have done in 40 minutes. So I left, I'll find some where else to go!

I would just like to take a moment of time to thank the cashier at the store in Lehighton. The cashier is awesome as she gave me a dollar today so I didn’t have to walk to my car as she knows my little guy is a toddler. This act of kindness which willKeep me coming back. Great employees make for great business.

If i could make this review 0 stars, i would. My fiancee purchased a 10 gallon glass fish tank from this store I believe it was on October 1st (I'll get to why i have to say "i believe" in a moment). Two days ago, I come home from work, she came home from the store about 10 minutes after me. We're sitting in the living room and we hear something dripping. Had the fish tank on a small shelf, and the whole top was covered in water, water was dripping down the side of the shelf onto the carpet. So we quickly got the fish out of the tank, took all the decor out (that we had also just recently purchased for the tank), and then drained all the water out of it. Thankfully this happened on a day where someone was home. Had this happened yesterday, We would have come home to an empty tank, a dead fish, and 10 gallons of water soaked into the carpet.After getting everything cleaned up, rinsing out the tank and drying it out, put it back into the box, which we still had since it was only about 18 days since we bought the tank, we took the tank back here to PetValu. Explained what happened, showed the nice lady behind the counter the receipt, and she said that unfortunately they could not take the tank back after two weeks. She asked if we were OK leaving the receipt there, since maybe the manager could look into it for us and maybe help us out. We said that was fine, and gave our name and number. She said he would probably call the next day (yesterday). No call yesterday.... no call today.I just stopped in at PetValu to see if i could get my receipt back. The lady at the counter had no idea where it might have been, so she asked if I wanted her to call the manager and ask, to which i replied if she doesn't mind. She called and asked him, and apparently the manager has no idea, apparently to what she was even talking about.This store will NEVER see any business from me again.

Visited the store in lehighton to bathe my dog, a clerk spent most of her time talking on a cell phone while ignoring me trying to prep my dog for a bath. As I was trying to heat the water temperature, she used the hot water in another tub area ignoring the fact that my water wasn't hot enough. Poor service today!

I loved Pet Valu until recently when I purchased a toy there advertised to have non-rip stitching and K9 Tuff Guard. I spent $12.71 only for my ten month old pup to play with it a few times before it broke! The plastic bottle inside bulged out. I tried to get an exchange since we didn’t have it but 11 days. The girl was nice enough to call the manager, Bill, and ask if that was okay. I found out that they do NOT guarantee their toys (love PetSmart because I’ve never had issues with returning a toy that did not hold up). Needless to say, I wrote to the toy company itself to see what they can do and am sad about my experience and customer satisfaction. Pet Supplies Plus and PetSmart will be my only pet stops.I do enjoy the variety of toys at this store but not the upper management service.

Dog wash station station is great. Only thing is dryer isn't that warm and they didnt have conditioner for my dogs coat. But this place is like a mini spa for the average 🐕.

I took 3 of my dogs there to get bathed an They give the towels an shampoo also blow dry them an get a free treat after all done for. $30.00 you can find anything there for any of your pets an it's in Leighton mall pleanty of parking

Went in for a seresto collar, asked the girl working to please open the case for the collar. She said ok and walked to the back presumably for a key and was gone for a few minutes, another woman walked in grabbed a few dog items and the employee walked from the back to ring her out promptly. She then walked up an isle and back, walked to the window and looked out for a moment then proceeded to stand against the counter with her back turned and have some coffee. She then turns looked at me and went to the back again. She finally walked back out a few moments later when I remind her that I'm still waiting for a collar from the case to which she replied "oh yeah". All in all I had to wait 10 - 15 minutes for a collar because of some forgetful employee who is seemingly incompetent to do mind numbing tasks such as open a case can't do her job.

I was excited to go here from reading the reviews but was very disappointed when I went. It was a mess inside, I couldn't even reach what I was looking for and when I asked for help they brushed me off and continued to talk. Not to mention the fish looked sick and were in such dirty water. Worst place I've been.
