Wow! if you cant find something here that you think is cool than it doesn't exist. This store has a little bit of everything. I tried to get a lot of pictures, but there's no way to capture the spirit of the store. Nobody will talk to you or bother you while you take your time browsing. They even have a pretty amazing, spacious bathroom.

Wow, the ultimate 2nd hand thrift store with tons of nostalgic items, lots of treasures!! The owners were helpful and willing to haggle prices.

The store was way overpriced. I went in to buy a cabinet. I found one. Paid him for it ,cash,he put it right in his pocket.no bill of sale, nothing. and then he said I have another cabinet over here, and he shows me it. And that one is a bit bigger. Told him ,that one would work better for me,and that I would take it instead, since it was $20 more....this man who owned this store, looked at me and said all sales are final. You have to buy this one,for full price... Never expecting such a response,as this .I feel that I was taken for my money by a greedy man.I left that store with a very sour taste in my mouth. Thinking how sad of a person he is. To put money over the satification of a customer. so much for taking care of the locals.

Great antique store with a wide variety of cool things. The prices are super reasonable. The Shoppe is clean and has big aisles making navigation very easy. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable of the items being sold.

The guy is going to die with his stuff. If you don't mind paying 500% over retail, this is THE spot!

I love this place! It's filled with old stuff that you may find indispensable such as a six foot long chain saw from the fifties.

Fun to look but the family running this place is all over on pricing. There was a sign saying "customer appreciation sale make an offer" and upon entering I was told I'd get a bundleDiscount. 10 minutes later I come back with an arm full of stuff and was guilted into $1-2 off each item. They even told us they get boxes of stuff essentially free at an estate sale and then price it like it was their mother's sentimental ... etc...It was fun to look but they need to run it like an antique store and clean it up a bit for the antique prices.

This store is a dream store for people who are looking for hard to find a used wonders. They have everything from vintage Mickey Mouse costume, to old tin cans like Charlie chip, and businesses I have never heard of. Vintage milk bottles, old beautiful furniture. There is so much in there you could spend hours. And if you like to haggle the gentleman that works there was a haggler also, I got a get deal on quite a few things.

Prices are a ripoff. We've seen many of these things at estate sales for much cheaper. A china cabinet that we bought for $50 at a sale, they were selling a similar one for $2,200. Cuff links that you can get for $5 were sold there for $35. Needless to say, we walked out with money still in our wallets.

This place has all types of antiques. The things that they sell in this shop are really valuable. When I was there today, I seen some items that would be in someone's collection. One of the favorite items that I saw were Hess Trucks. They usually get sold around the holidays at Hess Gas Stations. And they have unique features such as LED lights that illuminate the headlights , taillights, roof lights and the logos on the sides. Some of them have buttons on them to active different light patterns and sound effects.

Nice store but the owners are trying to sell things at EBAY prices. Thrift stores are supposed to be very affordable. Especially for lower income families and people in need.

Lots of unique and specialized items. The owners are very nice people. A little crowded with things, ao you meed to be careful walking around. If you are looking for something unusual and unique, a good place to check out.

Pluses: Friendly owners, if you like to haggle, maybe this is a place for you.Negatives: The prices are what definitely deters us from stopping here regularly. It's a local business, and I would love to support as many as we can. But I go to a lot of used,/thrift/consignment stores, etc and the prices are wayyyyyy higher than things are worth. Example: a much older microwave - $40. I can buy a new one for that. An old Steelers jersey, like the kind you buy in retail stores like a JC Penney (notbtje really good ones) for $50 was (I believe) $90. Not everyone wants to haggle or negotiate over prices. I like finding things I can refinish or repurchase. I will stick to the ReStore or Salvation Army. Just because something is old doesn't make it valuable. 😉 I mean look at me, I should be priceless at my age, and I probably wouldn't retail for more than $50 if I were a commidity 🤣!

Fantastic store. Mostly old furniture or decorations a lot of which comes from the local area. One ofbthe neat things is there is a history to most of the items and the owner is always there and more than willing to share the history with you. I should also mention that the prices are very reasonable.

Lots of antiques and neat stuff throughout a very large store. A must see and convenient to combine with a Jim Thorpe tour.

Worth stopping in to take look if you are in the area. You might find something interesting. Most of store has below average collectibles with an occasional nice thing like a jadeite floor lamp. The only bad thing is they font put a price on it and refer to what it would go for on Ebay for one that wasn’t rusty on bottom. Why don’t they sell it on ebay or just put a price on it.

Neat stuff, but the prices are above orbit, you can find better deals on eBay or like sites, even WITH shipping.

Claypools General Store is awesome. They have something for everyone there. We go about twice a month to see what new items they have. The owner Glenn is so friendly and courteous. We always like talking with him when he is there. When you're in Lehighton make sure you stop by Claypools General Store for a great experience!

The place was a mess! Piled like a flea market. I made a comment there's a lot of stuff, and woman said yeah we're kind of overstocked. It may have been a receiving day. Will have to check back another time.

Been here 4 times. I have yet to find anything worth buying. There is a large variety of stuff, but most of it is old junk.

You got to dig and dig hard, for a deal. There's a lot to see and much of it will likely be just the thing that every antique hunter is looking for, but sometimes things are just a little to pricy for my blood.
