16 dropped trailers, mostly old broken down dry vans. 1 out of commission reefer with it’s service panel wide open and clapping in the wind. Even hot shots are leaving their trailers. Shameful that working, and paying customers have to go elsewhere while freeloaders ruin the place.

Good thing they post a sign warning that dropped trailers aren't allowed. That way we know they're full of it when we see 9 dropped trailers taking up spaces, and another space filled with somebody's Honda Civic.Don't act like you care by putting signs up. You don't care about making sure actual drivers get spaces instead of turning your lot into a drop yard.

This review is mostly for the food preparation workers. The customer service minded folks who work in the food prep area is top notch. The other day I ordered two chicken tacos and when I checked my food in the parking lot I discovered that what I got was actually beef tacos with all sorts of messy sauce. Obviously the wrong order was given out at the counter. A simple mistake on their part. They made things right and they made the corrected order a priority and even gave me two extra tacos for my trouble. You just can't get that level of quality customer service around here any more and Rutters should be proud of their employees for doing everything they can to keep customers. I am a happy, returning customer.

Grabbed a Philly cheese steak wrap and the meat was hard, tasted old I had to actually throw it out after one bite. Can’t believe they would use old meat to give to customers!

I expected better from Rutters in terms of customer service. If anyone leaves a 1 or 2 star review, and eloquently describes their issue, why does the owner respond with "thanks for the feedback...go to website Yada yada Yada and fill out form blah blah blah," so they can "look into it"? Why not just have a real person, not an Ai bot, actually read the review and address the problem directly, quickly and efficiently.

I went to Rutters in Leesport to get something to eat from them. I ordered their Mac & Cheese, Wings and mashed potatoes with white gravy. Now first they give you a bowl of gravy for a small bowl of potatoes which they probably charge you for. So that gets wasted after you use what you want. Then they show a picture of cheddar mac & cheese shell macaroni on line. But when you order it you get a bowl of dry looking, half fake cheddar cheese powdered coated Kraft mac & cheese from the box. They tasted terrible. I wasn't happy at all. Now for the wings. I always order my wings plain for the first time because I want to taste how the food taste without the sauce masking the taste. The wings are a good size but the taste wasn't that great. Now service: After seeing all my meal I say it took a good while to prepare. The staff is polite and the young lady was doing a good job on instructing the 2 other staff helping her, that appeared to be new. The place always looks clean and well kept. Many of their store items are a bit over priced. But that is expected for fueling stations. I will continue to sample their menu. But on this visit I wasn't happy at all.

Since I live near here, I go here all the time and it’s really convenient. Gotta say my favorite person that works here is John 100%. Super helpful and really nice to talk to. Didn’t know if they had something so I called and he helped me out. Most definitely needs a raise. But other than that, this quick shop is really helpful

Turning into a terrible place to stop. Low on parking because they let people leave trucks and broken trailers everywhere. Was trying to grab a quick meal and not spend all this time parking with blocking stuff.

The store was clean and the staff was friendly even when a gentleman was complaining his fountain soda was flat. I was waiting to check out with my fountain drink and the counter lady either felt bad I was waiting or saw I looked miserable because had just received bad news about my pregnancy and said I was good to go have a great day. I have no clue how much my fountain drink cost but I assume no more than $3.00, that small gesture made me smile in a bad time. Whoever was working the checkout counters on 7/20/23 around 5pm, Thank you!

I stop at this location sometimes a couple times a week as it is convenient when hauling out of the neighboring quarry with the dump trucks. Sometimes looking for a drink or quick something to eat when there is not enough in my lunch bucket. I have to keep moving, don't have time to stand there and wait for food to be prepared but the food that is readily available is no good for a person watching their diet ( that is most convenient stores). The biggest problem with this location is the nasty restrooms......the men's room may be worse then an outhouse ( both smell and cleanliness).

Decent place. Only problem here is half the spots are local truckers that drop their trailers and take their truck home. Rutgers needs to stop that and make these drivers get places to park.

Food and coffee is good. The gas area is accessible, clean, user-friendly. Air pump is free ! Entrance is nice exit not bad

I cannot stress enough what it means to me that you offer veggie/plant based burgers. It is very hard to be a plant based trucker! Thanks for the great parking area also. I have one suggestion... it would really be helpful if you would somehow label your menu items with a V if it is totally vegan (no animal product ingredients or prep, like butter). The Manager was so kind to allow me to order a bowl of rice as a side. I was thinking that was a safe item but I found out it included scrambled eggs and possibly butter. Animal products give me a stomach ache so I can usually tell right after eating if something was hidden in my food.Again, thank you so much for serving us vegan truckers too!

Great selection of wines to go. Save on gas with their discount card. Plenty of truck parking. Ethanol-gas is available along with diesel fuel. I haven't tried their food yet. The music in the store is way too loud. Clean restroom facilities. Why pee at a WAWA when you can come here. Check it out today.

tiny chicken tenders for me to garner happiness from and a vanilla milkshake. all from the in store restaurant. took 10 minutes to make due to the store being empty at 1 pm. great french fries to make feel happy inside. as a 25 year old truck driver; that will have a hot gf with long legs, within the next 3 years.

I swear people who work here are prejudice!! I was in line, the person in front me did not have enough funds. He went outside to the car and I asked the cashier what they were buying that I would pay for it:. She clearly ignored me. After telling her fives times I’m trying to do a good deed… she tossed her hand and said forget I voided it, don’t bother.. I asked you like fives times what he was buying….This is not the first time this lady gives me attitude! We were both of ethnic background, maybe if our skin was white she would have done a good deed herself.I swear I hate coming to this gas station… I’ve been coming to this gas station for over a year now I haven’t seen one employee’s that’s out of color scheme and they all have smug face As if they’re waiting for there next victim

Parked my rig for the night here after delivering to the Ashlee furniture up the street. Had one of the absolute best hamburgers I've ever had in my life. I was dumbfounded. You don't expect to eat the best burger of your life at a truck stop. And there were truck spaces available after 7pm in Pennsylvania which is rare. Awesome place to stay the night

I love Rutters so I hate not giving it a great rating. Their food tastes great and they have a large selection of food to choose from. However, if you order food there make sure you have a lot of time. I've been there three times since it opened and each time was at least a 10 minute wait. Last visit it was 14 minutes for a cheeseburger and fries. They have more then enough employees behind the counter. There were 5 employees behind the counter and all seemed confused as to who was to do what. The atm also did not work appropriately and the soda machine and hot chocolate were all out of order. They do have nice employees and it is in a good location.

The place was clean, but the kitchen staff was not. Very dirty, greasy, unshowered people working with food… I nearly gagged watching the girl move slower than molasses trying to make my very simple sandwich. She still ended up making it wrong. But that’s fine because after seeing someone so vile touch my food, I had zero intentions of eating it and threw it out anyways. Try hiring kitchen staff that practices good hygiene. And since she was rude and unfriendly I’m not the least bit sorry for this review.

They don't have a big truck parking area but we were able to get a place at 4:30ish in the morning. I don't know how old this place is but it is well kept & clean inside & out. Every employee we encountered was friendly & made you feel welcome! Won't mind stopping here if we're out this way again!

I have a mixed review on this place....I give the made to order food 1 star. We ordered a pulled pork walking taco, which was horrible and walked itself right into the trash! The French fries, coffee and funnel cake fries were good. The staff were good and gave my son no attitude considering they forgot several parts of his order. The walk in beer freezer & adult slushies are nice, but I don't think Wawa or Sheetz has to be concerned about their competition. Good gas prices and rewards program is a bonus.

Rutters is great. Clean bathrooms, large snack and drink selections. Plenty of made to order food to choose from, and all heavily customizable to add whatever you want. Rutters dairy stuff is really good as well.

Mens bathroom had sticky floors. Urinal looked like it hasn't been cleaned all day. The urinals had stains from hard water. Same with the sink. Door handle on inside of men's bathroom was falling off. I ordered a milkshake without whipped cream, but for some reason they put whipped cream on it anyways, plus it had several large chunks of ice (not sure why). Later I ordered a extra large fry, it looked more like a medium at best. Not worth the money for the milkshake and fries.
