I typically shop here for the meat prices and the hoagies, but last night I stopped in to grab a few things for my husbands lunch and seen they had a deal at the deli. Me and my sister we treated like absolute garbage by the deli clerk and I honestly will not be returning after that. Such a shame for a good local place to have a rude employee like that.

Leechburg is lucky to have a grocery store like this. They have a great selection of items a butcher who will cut your meat for you. A nice deli they even have fresh made sushi each day. They have Klingensmiths drug store were you are able too get your flu shot. They gave a friendly staff.

The baked chicken you can buy hot was not good at all, very poor quality. Burnt and the breading had no flavor

Great neighborhood grocer. Fresh baked items and a wonderful meat selection. Still going strong! I love their baked goods.Still... great as ever. I was in today... had to get a fresh hoagie. And, of course, some fresh made Sprankles buns!In again today (11/2023)... fresh buns and hoagies... got 'em. Happy...04/2024... more buns and GREAT meat selection. I'd enjoy this more if I lived locally!

I receive Wic for my daughter. When I looked up your store online it said you acknowledge WIC. So I went to purchase items to get told Sprankles no longer accepts WIC. Wow well it needs to be changed on your website. Also on another note the employees were not very friendly at all. They said there is a sign. So we checked and Well it’s not very noticeable in small print. Plus The produce is not very good quality a lot is close to be rotten or all marked up.

Although the store is small it offers a very nice selection of produce meats and other items. Very clean good homemade Hoagies. Very good baked goods.

I will never be back. The guys that works in the meat department was very helpful (Rodger). The lady in the deli was very polite. The cashier was very rude. Never said anything to me except my total !!! The customers were rude. I will never be back. Talk to your good employees and let them know they are doing good. Your ignorant employees need to be reprimanded !!!!

As much as the newer owners try to make this place like a superchain supermarket, it falls flat.The prices are hiked too much. The new owners know that they depend on residents of the town that can't get to other stores, dollar general, family dollar, dollar tree, etc.So this place knows that they can upcharge, because the residents of this town, mainly the elderly population that can't drive or have any other means to get their necessities, will have no other choice but to come here.The employees are wonderful, except Gloria. She's a, well, she's a, See You Next Tuesday, yet for some reason, she's still employed after so many complaints have been lodged against her. I'm not sure.But I digress, honestly, I wouldn't recommend this place if you can help it and that's just fair.I went in for a box of toaster strudels and paid 2x the cost of what I would've paid at giant eagle.It's just not worth it unless you're purchasing tobacco products which are at state level requirements.

There is a female associate with a mustache that is rude EVERY time we go there. ( I was told her name is Marcella). I am nice to everyone and she is just rotten and rude every time. Aside from that, all of the other employees are very kind and helpful.

One of the greatest stores with great bargains and deals they care about their customers making sure that you get a lot of bang for your buck,, it seems I'm always at this store. This is still my favorite store, such great prices and friendly service!!

The store is clean and bright and the isles are wide enough for two carts. That have 2 different styles of carts, which is nice when you are only getting a few items or a month's worth. Their meat department has a wide selection and is fresh cut daily and if you need or want something special cut or packed, they will do it with no problem. The bakery has many items and many are fresh baked right there. They along with the deli take special orders. I do the majority of my shopping there, even tho we have several grocery stores in the area. Their prices are great on the wallet also.

A family, friendly owned grocery store that is so serene, clean & unseen it has an unlimited supply of Chicken, Beef & Pork! Keep an eye out for those massive meat sales! Please remember to be courteous to other customers such as the disabled & elderly by not panic shopping. Everyone needs food not just you.

Little small town market. Very good deals on packaged fresh meat weekly. Fresh produce you have to watch and check well be for purchase not a large variety there either like a larger place like walmart would have. Some items have a high price. If you shop here you are looking to spend the same amount you would at a shop n save but less then a giant eagle. Very helpful friendly staff and a pharmacy onsite Inside store.

I bought meat from sprankles many of times always been great! Was my go to. The last two times I have bought it, it's been unedible our dogs didn't even like it. Bought delmonico's and filet mignon and they were so tough after cooking the same way ive cooked for many years. Very disappointed.

Convenient, doesn't always have what we need (probably my biggest complaint) but it's nice that it's in town. Much cleaner than the vandergrift one, I used to get sick off the old food from there. Once in a blue moon my husband or I will find old food at this one too. Sometimes they have really good deals on stuff. Sometimes their stuff is marked up, in my opinion. (And I was raised in a county with higher taxes before moving here.)We have bought meats from here that were older, we learned to just really read best buy dates and sell by dates.The staff is on and off, hot and cold. It's almost like you have to catch them on a good day.Otherwise, it's not bad. Its the fact it's convenient.

Pharmacy and Groceries are now in same building, excellent pharmacy everything usually in stock, the whole store was recently remodeled and had grand opening the end of summer, also have truckload meat sales all the time extreme savings on meat!!!! Great store!!

Their bakery-fresh bread is on sale. At 10.30 on a Saturday morning there is none. I asked one of the girls in the bakery about it and she said it was baking and would be at least 30 minutes before it was ready. I went to this store for that bread. Why, on a busy Saturday morning, wouldn't they make sure that they had plenty available? Poor planning?

I love going to this grocery store when I visit my boyfriend in Leechburg. They offer so much more then a local hometown market offers. They have alot of homemade foods like; cakes, cookies, and meals. They have alittle bit of everything that anyone would be looking for. I noticed that they have some of their own sauces and other items just made by them.

So I just went in to get some lunch meat and cheese and the girl said can I help you with her mask under her chin I asked for a pound of chopped ham mind you she didn't change her gloves before getting the ham that was pre cut already she reached in the bag and then pulled her mask up after touching her face and then my ham and dropped some off of the scale and put it in the bag gross then instead of opening a new lol cheese she took the end to cut me a half of pound that was thin half slices I said is that cheese messed up she said it's good it was not sliced will not be back to this store cross contamination big time

Sprangle Market is a great place to purchase meat 🍖 the cut and the prices are very reasonable in fact Lowest prices in the Local Area! Love going there!!👍😉
