I never liked the idea of having an Ollie's in this location, but I decided to go inside one day looking for a specific item, though they didn't have what I was looking for, they did have ALOT of nice things and provided alot more than whatvi expected. They have a huge book selection and some prices on items are much cheaper than the dollar store.

Edit: The previously mentioned issue seems to have been fixed since my last review. Back to 5 stars!Original review:Glad that Ollie's has joined our town. The store has a lot of really neat finds, from essentials to knick knacks to books and everything in between. Most things are a great price, but do watch out because they do have items that are cheaper elsewhere. The employees are friendly and always appear to be working hard, though I will say that they're a little intense about asking if we need help. It's a browsing store, not so much an employee question store. They're still very nice; I just find the frequency at which I'm asked if I need help to be a bit much.Edit: I have temporarily lowered my rating because there is a VERY strong cat pee odor immediately upon walking into the store.

My husband and I went on opening day and the employees and the manager, I think his name was Ian were amazing. So friendly,helpful and kind. The merchandise we purchased has not disappointed us. We use it everyday and really appreciate this store with its high end items at a discount price. Loved the books , the home goods, the banana bread pop tarts and the Coleman camping chairs. Am so glad we now have this store in our area. Last night was Ollie’s army night with toys and Christmas at a 25% discount and the rest 15% on already discounted high end items. A win win for consumers .

I usually stray from “bargain” stores due to past experience, but I gotta tell you, I was pleasantly surprised by Ollie’s. The store was clean, organized, and very well stocked. The merchandise was well displayed, and the quality was great in relation to the price. We ended up buying a few things and so far we’re happy with Ollie’s.

Another discount store. That's all we have in the area, so nothing special.However, they don't treat employees very well. They hired people to work, got the store open, then in the month leading up to Christmas didn't schedule many of the workers at all. That means no paycheck.To be clear, I never worked for Ollie's. But I have seen the outcome of being employed by them.I won't shop at any Ollie's in the future .

Omg first time at this place. Needless to say I love it. It's so clean and well stocked,nothing like Walmart. And prices are way better. I just thought they were another junkie place like dollar stores but not the piles of junk I see at these other places. You just sign up for their sales and you will know what's there that week, but like Flonase I pay 20 dollars for.8.99. and dates are fine. So check it out cause you will have no need for the drama and embarrassing moments at Walmart

Ollie's in Allegheny Twp, is a brand new store, using the old KMart building...Ollie's I'd a great addition, to a formerly empty plaza, along with and beside, the brand new Dollar Tree. Always a treat to check out what Ollie's might have . Lots of parking ,huge Plaza . God Bless, Keith.

It's nice to have nearby and there's a variety of items in stock with a fairly quick rotation of items. My only gripe is the book section does not experience the same rotation.

I bought a sheet set and I returned it in less than 48 hours. I could not get cash back because I'd used a card but no one told me it would take over 3 days to get my money back. I won't be shopping here again.

Insanely tiny Ollie's. Crazy tiny! I've been a fan for years. But this store is incredibly small. And don't plan on getting around if you are in a wheelchair or walker. Everything is super tight. IF you can get through you will JUST be able to, and feel awful because you are holding every one up who can not possibly get around you. I love Ollie's and the store. But they didn't think the tiny cramped store strough. Whoever ok'd this needs their job reexamined.

I had quite an interesting experience this evening. Went in with the wife to look for something so we ended up heading in different directions and I was just trudging down one of the main aisles wishing I was home and this tiny, cute little girl comes out from a side aisle with both hands full and she stops suddenly and just looks at me and freezes. For those that don't know me I am a fair sized guy of a little over 6' and 300 lbs so I understand how I may have looked to her so I stopped too. After a short silence she says " Don't chase me" with a serious face so I smiled slightly and said in my friendliest voice " I won't " and she took off to where she came from and I got a little chuckle from it and headed sharply right, away from her because I didn't want to scare her. My wife and I meet up again right after and as we're walking the same little girl pops out again and again freezes and looks at me very seriously. We stopped also and suddenly she says loudly " Don't chase me anymore !" 🤯 All of a sudden I'm thinking that this isn't funny or cute anymore....afterall, what if someone heard her say that and come charging around the corner with pepper spray in one hand and a friggin taser in the other ?! My wife looked at me and asked what she said and I was like let's get outta here....funny and scary at the same time. Only me.....

I love the products and most of the prices but I have to say that in Hyde Park, the people who work there aren't very helpful. I have a bad rest and nobody would even help me. One of the customers was helping me. They stood there and stare at me. But other than that it's a great store.

My wife and I were looking to purchase large accent rugs at the Leechburg PA location. We found two that matched and we liked. We needed assistance because they were near the bottom of the piles. We received great assistance from Nyeesa, Michael, and Ian. They put in a great effort of moving the large piles to reach the ones we were purchasing which was like a workout. We commend the three of them and would definitely recommend this Ollie’s location.
