Giant Eagle is so awful. Specifically this one. Would highly recommend driving the extra miles to the one in Lower Burrell. What a terrible experience, dirty store, poor staff. Only TWO checkouts. Self-check out is for those who have a Giant Eagle card - WHY?! And only half of the self checkouts work! Do better Giant Eagle, or shut down.

I personally feel that this is the best local grocery store for quality produce. I think their prices are fair for what they offer. Their meats are also quality as well. I love to see that they do make accommodations for their employees. The only major downside is that they do not have a changing station in their bathrooms. I think for such a big store that is a huge downside.

As much as I love Giant Eagle, do no go there without your Giant Eagle Card!! They treat you like someone with nothing and there brains turn to mush... Several times I've did this on purpose to see the reaction of clerk and OMG the world ends in 3 2 1.. Rude and disrespected without card and when I have it your Jesus. No reason to be treated this way when I spend thousands every few months. Get a life!!!

The store is nice and clean. I like using the flash food app. That is a another issue. I have purchased items through the flashfood app from other stores with never a problem. Every time I purchase something from allegheny town center it is a issue. They are missing items. This time my whole order has disappeared. Tried talking to different people including management no resolutions are given. Its very frustrating.

Went thru self scan today and got accused of stealing dog food. I guess the employee felt because she personally didn't see me scan the item, I didn't. She came up while I was scanning and reminded me to not forget my food items under the cart (there was only a bag of dog food). I said I already scanned it but thank you. She then hovered over me the rest of the time until I payed and was leaving then asked to check my receipt. It was literally the first item I scanned. Then not so much as an I'm sorry, she just turned and walked away. I spend enough in that store a week, I don't need to steal a bag of dog food!

Its a Giant Eagle. This one so happens to have an Ace Hardware store attached to it which is kind of convenient. The employees at the checkout are always friendly. As I said, kind of a run of the mill Giant Eagle, not much to say. Which is more of a good thing if anything

Prices are ridiculous and you can only use the perks on certain items. Dumbest incentive ever. Rather go to Walmart because at least they just rob you upfront and don’t lie to get you in the door.

This was once a store with decent prices and great customer service, now some employees are still kind and helpful while others are rude and lazy, customer service couldn't even tell me what the price of a turkey cost because the meat department was absent and refused to go check. The quality of produce has gone down over the years and the prices are no longer competitive. However if you need specialty items you do have a chance of finding it here. Hope they turn it around and return to it's former glory.

The deli section is so efficiently managed. A lot of customers but they are quickly served. I can phone in an order and it’s exactly what I wanted and the way I wanted things sliced. I love the DELI

Has to be the WORST GE ever! Slowest cashiers imaginable, zero staff. Idk why their prices are so high when they have NO STAFF!Whoever the store manager is needs to be fired ASAP!

Very nice store and I found good deals and very friendly cashiers. I was there over 1 hrs and found it a very pleasant store. It was my first time at this store, and I will definitely return. I also happened to bring a friend and she really liked it.

This Giant Eagle is very nice. There was an employee named Paul that is always kind and offers his help. My mom needed a motor cart since she got knee surgery. The battery died on her outside so he went and got her a charged one, and even helped her get up and over to the new one. It's rare to find people that go above and beyond their job expectations to help people. This was definitely appreciated.

Every time we go theres an issue with wrong pricing matching what's on the shelf or what you think is on the shelf. Like Bait-n-switch tactics. Like seasonings on sale "but only with a digital coupon" wth is that? Or where? Why do that to your customers? Not impressed. Ballpark buns on sale BUT only for 1 not all of them. Of course you don't see that until the price at the cash register.

I moved to East Vandergrift Pennsylvania on January 21, 2023 from New York state. I have been 100% disappointed and dissatisfied with Giant Eagel. Not only with their prices but with the customers too. I don't shop there a lot and don't buy a lot of food or basic necessities. It's a very good thing because I don't want to spend a lot of money on food, household items, and be in a store when a customer or customers are not minding their own business and are staring. I know the difference between right and wrong and what goes on in that store is 100% not right. Lastly I have a problem at self check out with my card which brings me to nothing but anger.

The front of the store is more open and easier to get through than it used to be. But there are nowhere near enough small carts available and you have to search the cart returns in the parking lot for one. Plus the section where the checkout lanes are is very narrow and difficult to navigate both before and after checkout.

Don't ever buy a gift card. Here if you don't keep your slip .they look it up and tell you there is no record of you buying a gift card .then they give you a number to call, and those people say the same thing. So your out your money you paid for the gift card.when you try to use it your told it has a zero balance.......

Local giant eagle, just renovated inside. Love it. Great selection and prices, and has an Ace Hardware inside. Getgo gas station here too

Went out to the Store because it has an ACE hardware store inside it. Needed to have some keys made. Well needless to say, their was no one around for the ACE hardware but, they do have an automated key machine. Got all the keys I needed made. I sure hope they work. I'll find out first thing in the morning. Wish me luck.

Would get 5 stars if they offered curbside pickup at this location. The Ace Hardware was a nice addition, but with other better hardware stores closer, I only use it when I am also getting something from the main Giant Eagle.

All staff has always been friendly, but the one lady that works self checkout. She makes you feel like you are stealing things. Watching over my shoulder literally touching me as i am trying to ring things. Throwing stuff out of my bags that are in my cart, counting everything as i am trying to ring the rest of my order, uncalled for.
