Making an appointment was easy, payment was easy with ability to use a card at pickup, staff were friendly and my golden doodle got the best cut she’s gotten in the 2 years we’ve had her. They even gave her a personalized Christmas ornament, hemmed handkerchief, and little treat! I appreciated that they sent an appointment confirmation and reminder text. Very reasonably priced as well.

I NEED everyone to choose this place regardless and tip well. I have three dogs, a bagel mix, a husky mix, and a huge Alaskan malamute, she grooms all of them. I’ve tried everything to take care of my dogs the way she does but no one can out match the care and quality products she uses. She replies fast and books quick. I’ve tried so many other shops and they wouldn’t take my Alaskan malamute and she was the only that would. He LOVES the staff and they always come home with the cutest bandana based on the time of the year. Been a solid two years with them and wouldn’t change a thing. I even moved farther and still continue to make it there every time. It’s Christmas time and the staff even took the time to hand make all of this for my babies. Such a quality team and building. Btw the place is definitely clean and inviting also!

I took Cupcake, my yorkipoo, to have her nails trimmed for the first time. The groomer was incredibly nice towards me and Cupcake. I also greatly appreciated that they used the treats I provided to make Cupcake comfortable throughout her session. They didn’t rush the appointment also. Their priority was to do a job well done and to make Cupcake as comfortable as possible. I can’t wait to go back!—Prior to appt: I took a lot of time researching ethical groomers because I have experienced those who only care about the money and not the pets. This place is incredibly professional. From previous reviews, it appears lackadaisical dog owners tend to have short partnerships with the business because the groomers stands up for themselves. Truthfully, it is our responsibility as owners to train our dogs to be social enough to be groomed if we want the service.—Cupcake’s first full groom appt went fantastic. They were knowledgeable and empathetic regarding Cupcake’s needs as a geriatric. I highly recommend this business as it is local, prices reasonably, and prioritizes the safety of the pet and groomer.

All I can say is that they are amazing!! I have a sweet 7 year old pitbull, not aggressive at all. He’s very jumpy and vet prescribed Trazadone and still couldn’t do nail trim. Took him somewhere else and needed 3 people to do nail trim; not pleasant. Lucky dog grooming did it without restraining him in less than 5 minutes. I will never go anywhere else!!

Visiting Lebanon with my dog Kahlua. Three different groomers were unable to clip his nails due to behavior. They got it done and ignored his temper tantrum! So thankful to have found this place. Thank you! I now have a reliable place to take my dog when visiting Lebanon!

I travelled 40 minutes each way to reunite our siberian cat with Beth. After Beth moved from the grooming shop near our home in Harrisburg, we tried two other local options. Both were, well, unsatisfactory, to put it nicely. I am so glad we reconnected with Beth at The Lucky Dog Grooming Company in Lebanon.Beth knows cats and Beth knows cat grooming. Not all groomers do despite claims to the contrary. Our cat has long hair so we have him groomed several times a year to maintain his nails, hindquarters, and body fur in general (to make cleaning easier). Doing so requires cat-specific skills and knowledge and Beth has both.Beth offered a weekend appointment so he would not be spooked by being around dogs. She greeted him with genuine affection which he clearly sensed. As usual, she did a fantastic job grooming him. He came home handsome and happy - which is what every cat owner wants.I encourage cat owners from the region - Harrisburg, York, Lancaster - to make the trip to The Lucky Dog Grooming Company in Lebanon so Beth can groom your cats. Your cat will be one lucky cat!

What can I say, these ladies offer top notch service at an exceptional price. Contacted them in the morning, received a quick response and they were able to get us in. I have been taking my boy Dobby there for almost 2 years now (I think) He is always well groomed, smells great and is always so happy when I pick him up!Last Christmas they gave him an ornament with his name on it for the tree and some treats…I was so impressed with how thoughtful they were!!We have an appointment coming up and I am sure it will be just as great as his previous visits!!

I've been coming here since it opened. I'm so glad to have a close place to go. My dogs are terrified but Jen is always kind and she is accommodating for my little one because she is afraid of other dogs and likes to come when her shop is less full. We are so appreciative of all she does. I don't know how she stands all the doggy noise when owners come to pick up (or is that just my dog, haha). She always confirms what service we want even though it never changes and she does a nice job. Thank you!

Sadly, I had to switch groomers due to lack of professionalism and quality customer service. I have been taken my dogs to this groomer for a few years now with no major issues up until one day which I was not available when they tried to reach me after my dogs were groomed. The owner never told me how long it would take to groom them. However, when she was not able to reach me she texted me almost every 5 minutes for about 1.5 hours. When I finally received the text, I apologized and explained what happened but she became very angry and extremely unprofessional. Additionally, she charged me almost 150 dollars on top of the original fee because I was late picking them. I explained that I did not know what time she would finish and apologized for being late but she was very angry almost insanely angry as if she has a mental issue. I do not know if she was having a bad day but her behavior was unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. I told her that I would report her to the better business borough but then decided not to. All I have to say is don't be late picking up your dogs or you will be charged a lot of money. If possible find another groomer before going to this one because you don't know what mood she is going to be in.

Wasn’t what I expected! My dogs don’t look the way I wanted them to look. On top of that I had to pay a really high price for just her giving a bath because supposedly the dogs couldn’t handle it. This never happened before.Of course I said “that’s fine” since I thought I was going to get a good service, that was worth the price! I did find another groomer by the way!

Never told me they won't never do my husky again cause he was agressive.they said yes they would but the price would go up.if he was agressive multiple times then why did they keep doing him .....why stop doing him the very first time .I won't never ever would recommend you services to anyone.it takes days to get in .she should have been straight forward with me instead of lying .I got a great groomer for him that does a GREAT JOB with him better than anyone else.and am more Happier there so is he .

The Lucky Dog is a great grooming business. The owner is nothing but kind and absolutely awesome with every dog that enters the store. My dogs just get their nails clipped, but they are done nice, quick and very affordable.

She was fast, efficient, and most importantly, talked to my dog during her nail trim. She was in front of and behind my dog while clipping, trying different techniques, and never went too short with the Dremel. All in all a great experienceWas my original review. It's now changed.To this.Arrived and there were 2 sets up sets of 2 dogs there at the same time period she was also doing a full cut on another dog.Their policy is that if you're in there for just a nail trim then they'll stop what they're doing in order to trim your dog's nails.Which is fine. It just shouldn't have come with the attitude that she gave me.I asked for a nail dremel and trim She just went about clipping the nails.. Didn't seem like she paid much attention this time. The whole thing felt very hurried. She began to get the dog off the Harness when I said, "So you're not going to dremel the nails?"To which she bit back, 'Well you just have to tell me that!"I said, "Yes. I did at the start."There was no other conversation. She dremeled the dog's nails and brought the dog back to me. I didn't bother tipping. Maybe she's just having a bad day but not only that but she has her kid at work with her. And while I'm empathetic to the plight of the single mother, I just don't think that whatever the job you do, that if you do it at an outside business, that you should bring your child with you.

First appt I even made and they could not get my dogs out of the cage to groom them? They are 15lb each and been groomed professionally since pups so I’m doubting their ability to handle dogs whatsoever when they spent all day in that cage to not be taken care of....then rescheduled me the appt to 9am a few days later to try again? I decided to give them second chance even after doubting if they are even capable of doing it just because my regular groomer in vacations and they conveniently located. I arrived at 9:13 and was received by a lady who didn’t acknowledged me until who I guess is the owner came to greet me a minute later and told me can’t see my dogs because I was late and it’s their policy max 15 min late but I was late 13 min sorry things happen and I was behind yet meanwhile they had absolutely no other dog waiting and refused to see us either way. They have a nice place but it does not translate onto good customer service. Only pro is location and cheap prices. They even spend the time to text me their reasons why they have policies in place.....ok you didn’t had a customer how about you use the texting time to honor my appt? After all you cancelled the first one after having my dogs for hours just because You couldn’t do your job efficiently....yup, not a good referral from me. And in addition, they have in their door that they established 2017. Where?? There was a barber shop on that location until beginning of 2019 so I’m very confused now in top of disappointed.... sadly there is not many groomers in Lebanon but if you have options then do yourself a favor and spare the headache. This people lack professionalism.
