Called to make an appointment and was told that they wouldn't take my dog because she would be too much work, merely because she is a Great Pyrenees. Mind you, she is reasonably clean and mat free at the moment, just needs a standard bath/brush/trim nothing crazy at all. I have owned large double coated dogs for 15+ years now and have never, ever been turned down for a grooming. If this is their policy then they need to put it on their website. It is very customer and dog un-friendly and not service oriented.

I've taken my 2 chihuahuas here 3 times. Once for a nail trim and then a grooming session for each, separately. Stephanie was amazing with both dogs. She sent me pics of my girls during the grooming letting me know how my girls were doing. My 1 Chi tends to be hyper and has separation anxiety, but Stephanie did an amazing job and Abby was relaxed when she came home. Both girls looked and smelled wonderful. I've booked our next sessions already. They truly love your fur baby's here.

Love the business. Everyone that I've encountered there has been pleasant and all around helpful with my doggie.Not to mention they're always very sweet with him and their grooming is amazing. My doggie has never come out looking like they missed any spots and he's perfectly groomed.

Awesome experience at Tails A Waggin'. They know and listened to exactly how I wanted my doodle groomed. They seem to be extremely busy so be sure to call in advance to schedule your precious pups appointment. Pics attached so you can clearly see they know how to cut a doodle perfect.

Great service and they're great with animals. They squeezed me in when my dog got "skunked" and did an amazing job of getting rid of (most) of the smell. They've earned a new customer for my other dogs as well.

I highly recommend Tails A Waggin'. They do a beautiful job with our longhair ragdoll cat. They are conveniently located, reasonable priced, and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

Made an appointment for my dog to get his first bath. Penn Ave closed off the street, which was directly in front of their parking. No signs to show an alt parking spot or any signs in the back showing parking. Called to cancel my appointment due to no parking and I had to go back to work.Called to reschedule to find out the Owner told everybody I'm not allow to make an appointment. I was "given the opportunity to park somewhere" and "missed my appointment". So be sure to make it to your appointment 15 minutes prior, or you might be scolded and put on the naughty list.

They told us they did not want us to bring our dog to there shop because he cries so much. He is just scared of all of the dogs there and all the people. They are very unprofessional.

I could not be more happy with this business. Everyone seems to be super helpful and friendly. Heather grooms my golden doodle and does a fantastic job- my dog actually gets very excited to see her as soon as we pull into the parking lot. I had my Springer spaniel groomed here for the first time yesterday and had a fantastic experience. Andrea was very patient listening to exactly what I wanted. I am very picky because my dog used to be a show dog and I feel like she can tell when she has a good haircut (yes, I’m THAT crazy dog lady!). I have looked all over the greater Philadelphia area for a good spaniel groomer and I have finally found the spot! Next time, we’ll fine tune a couple of things but I have no doubt Andrea will make the tweaks and perfection will be achieved. My dog looks so gorgeous That now my mother wants me to take her spaniel there too! An hour’s drive is worth patronizing a business with kind, talented and professional people. I was pleasantly surprised that I able to get a same day appointment for my dog. The staff was very polite and made me feel comfortable leaving Buddy in their care. Took our 9 month old Cavapoo for his 3rd time being groomed. The groomer did a wonderful job in cleaning him up and was wonderful with him. The price was very reasonable and he was in and out in less than two hours. Very happy puppy!

they work on multiple dogs at once causing them too rush and forget what cut you asked for. the total time is always more than 4 hours. staff is not welcoming at all.

Great place to have your pet groomed. We took our Lab there just recently, she came home with nails neatly clipped, looking and smelling great. The staff I encountered was friendly & helpful and the price was reasonable.

We have had our very skidding cat groomed here a few times.Andrea was the groomer both times and we love her personality and her show of great compassion to us when we left our cat Lucy in her capable times.I would recommend this place.

The best pet grooming service I have ever used. They always go the extra mile whilst providing services, like when our cat got fleas, we called them and they gave him an entire flea bath, as well as washed our carrying cage. Service is always relatively quick, drop your pet off, go run some errands for 2 hours, and then pick up. The groomers there really care and look out for the pets, and their service clearly shows that - our kitten always comes home looking like a prince.

Today I brought my fur baby Weston today and right off that bat, everyone was so nice! My husband went to pick him up when he was all done and oh my goodness, my Weston looks so cute and smells so good!I know Weston is a handful but thank you for taking such good care of him! The best groomer we have used by a mile. Our four dogs each get different cuts that suit their personalities, and get complimented by everybody they meet for days thereafter. Also, reasonably priced and nice people.

We have been taking our miniature Australian shepherd to Tails A Waggin' for a few years now, and have been happy after every grooming. Our dog absolutely loves Cindy and the staff; she is excited every tome arrive! They are usually very busy so it's key to schedule an appointment. That being said, they will always take walk-ins for nail trimming and it's free.

They always take such good care of our cats! I had never had cats that needed to be groomed before, so when we first adopted our 3 persians, I was quite nervous to find someone that would be knowledgeable enough to handle cat grooming. Tails A Waggin has a certified cat groomer who always knows how to take great care of my 3 babies. She never bathes them unless necessary, to not cause any extra stress and she always does the most fabulous job with trimming amd shaving any mats away. My little ones always come home happy and playful after visiting!

Our two short-haired dogs are rarely groomed. They were beautifully turned out after their care at "Tails..." The shyest of them - generally quite stand-offish and afraid of new people and surroundings, seemed to be very relaxed and content on pickup (not frantic to be outside, per usual behavior).Grooming was A++++, staff was (people and) dog friendly. Cats in residence gave credence to equal-opportunity policy!Very pleased! Excellent professional, pet-friendly environment!While entering for delivery and pick up, crossed paths with several (this is a busy establishment, with several groo0mers at work at any one time) extremely well-groomed long-haired dog varieties that presented beautifully (long, fluffy. elegantly clipped fur) while seeming to be utterly non-traumatized by their experience.Also please note that "Tails..." conveniently offers pet licenses, leashes, collars, and food, as well as grooming aids.This is a real find - a definite plus for Berks county!!!
