Kristin was our server, and Jill was the other server working today. The food was EXCELLENT, so much of it is made in-house. Kristin gave incredible, unmatched service, and we had such a wonderful time. It feels like an old school diner with friendly faces. We will DEFINITELY be back. The servers also had great things to say about the owners and rest of the staff. If you're in the area, definitely stop in for a laugh and some great, classic diner food.Dietary restrictions: mindful of food allergies

Stopped here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised with this local treasure. My server, Kristen, was courteous, attentive and has the perfect hospitality personality. I ordered the smothered burger which came with a cup of soup and fries. The soup choices of the day were chicken noodle, vegetable and lobster bisque. I opted for the bisque. It was hot, thick, creamy and perfectly seasoned. The burger was 6 ounces of beef topped with onions, green peppers, mushrooms and mozzarella cheese. It was fabulous. One of the attractions of this diner is breakfast served all day. On my afternoon visit I noticed several customers ordering breakfast. The menu is extensive so my next visit will be a tough selection process.

The Laurys Station American Grill is a very welcomed addition to the community since the last diner closed a few years back. My wife and I went for dinner last night, there was a lot of confusion amongst the staff. We were promptly seated and given drinks, but then sat and waited over 25 minutes for someone to take our order. I got the brisket burger which was ok, few crispy onions but a good amount of cheese. Unfortunately, it was very reminiscent of a frozen patty cooked on a griddle. My wife got the four piece fried chicken, there wasn’t a lot of meat on the bones and it was fried very hard. Fries were ok, also tasted like frozen boring fries. I look forward to trying the grill for breakfast which is only served from 6:30-11am. I understand growing pains of a new restaurant and we will probably be back to try it again someday.Update April 2022: Their hours are now 11am-8pm and closed Monday’s. So much for trying them out for breakfast!

Have been waiting for a while to try this place since they opened. The early reviews weren’t favorable, and the prices seemed a bit more expensive than what I am used to paying at a “diner”. I was hoping the reviews would get better, and saw a couple of positive e, but still wasn’t sold. Only thing I was able to notice was the lack of recent business at the diner. The first couple of weeks seemed busy at lunch and dinner time, but the last week and a half or two the place seems dead. They originally had breakfast scheduled, but that ended very soon. As for breakfast, I think they should start with weekends only...IF they can get the prices to a reasonable level (Ed Petruccelli mentioned a $50 breakfast tab for 2 adults and 2 6-year olds in his Google review)! Shorty thereafter, breakfast was canceled completely. Had a friend in from out of town and decided we would give the new place a go. Picked him up at his hotel near the airport and drove up to Laurys Station, only to find the restaurant closed with a sign on the door that read; “We are closed due to lack of staff. Sorry for any inconvenience.” Then I decided to grab some beer at the distributor in the back, only to find out they were no longer there....it appears from what is on the shelves inside (through the window) the restaurant is using the building for dry storage. I think it will take a bit more convincing to try this place. Not saying “no”, but not jumping at “yes” either.

Typical diner atmosphere, bathroom had no tp which was not good and one toilet was out of order. New owner but facility should have been updated. Entire space is still the same.Too many items on the menu, obviously not all is freshly made. Maybe fresh frozen. Ordered hot roast beef open face sandwich. What I got was definitely not beef. I asked what the mystery meat was, after a few minutes the waitress apologized stating she put it through as pork. I was pleasantly surprised with the great flavor of the pork and refused for them to remake the roast beef instead.All in all the food was good, price is following increased prices almost everywhere, but still has way too many items on the menu. No "specialty" items proprietary to this restaurant, I'd like to see more of that than a way too large menu.

I was in need of a new job, and the bosses at this location accommodated my needs. I found a wonderful work environment, great food, great customers, and the two most selfless individuals I have ever worked for. An overall top-notch diner experience! Our server was very pleasant, attentive, and fast. The food was prepared quickly and was excellent. And a special thank you to the cashier, who took it upon herself to graciously offer to walk my mother with dementia out of the restaurant when she became a bit confused as we were ready to leave. I highly recommend the Laury’s Station American Diner!

We have been coming here since it opened and loved it...until today. The food was disgusting, undercooked, and we heard the staff talking about how the cook rushed the order. Instead of trying to make it right, they removed just the raw hamburger and charged me for the sides that came with it! Who does thar?!?!?! I removed a 5 star review for this reason. We will never be back.

We came to this restaurant about 2 yrs ago and it was not great, we saw they were "under new management " and at the last minute we thought let's go here and see if they got any better...they did not. It was a unanimous vote 5 out of 5 who said we won't be coming back. Including 2 kids. The person who sat us had an attitude, the food was not good. How do you screw up over easy eggs twice. I sent them back for new ones and they were worse the second time. Coffee not good. Our bill was like $70 and there was a $5 fee to use ur debit card...what??? The 5 of us would not recommend going there unless everything else in a 30 mile radius is closed.

We had just started eating and I looked down to find ants in my food. I immediately pushed my plate aside and so did my husband. We told the wait staff and they brought us our check. They gave us a discount ($6.00). It wasn’t even the full price of my meal. We still had to pay a $22 bill for our breakfast after finding ants in the food. Would not recommend. Check your food before you eat.
