I've been going back and forth with Speedy Furniture since 2022. I ordered a full set which included a couch, loveseat, chair and ottoman in 2021. The order took a year and a half to receive. After receiving, the couch was defective and the ottoman had shifted. I had to wait several months for repair. After several calls and emails, they finally scheduled the repairs. Once the repair man showed up, he stated he only came to fix the couch. I asked him if he were also going to make repairs to the ottoman? He took pics of the ottoman and stated he would have to request materials and once received he would return. I've never heard from him again. I continued to contact Speedy Furniture and would get the same spiel over and over again "We only have one repair company and he is booked". Speedy Furniture of Irwin eventually went out of business and I were told to contact Speedy's of Latrobe. They sent out a repair guy in August 2023 who came with a covering for my ottoman. The covering did not match and the guy said he would have to order the correct piece. I'm not sure how a cover would have solved the issue. I've been in contact with the Manager Scott on several occasions. I emailed him pictures of the ottoman and he stated he would get in contact with Ashley Furniture about a replacement. A month and a half ago I contacted Scott again and was told that my ottoman came in and as soon as they had another delivery in my area they would bring it. I never received anything. I then recently went to BBB due to no response from Scott. He reached out told me he would handle things and never responded after. Unfortunately BBB closed my complaint as Speedy Furniture never responded.

The staff was so patient and helpful with my daughter and me. They took their time showing us what was available to suit our needs with no high pressure sales tactics--just guidance. We wanted a table with 2 chairs for a small dining space. We decided to get a third chair to go with a desk. Even though they had to order 4, they let us purchase just 3. They even assembled the chairs at no additional cost. :-) very helpful! Considering supply issues, we were surprised to get the set in less than a month.

Do not go to speedy furniture. They are liars. I had literally a manager and salesperson lie to me when I came in looking for furniture that would be sturdy because I have two pittbulls rescues. They told me if I bought a warranty for 5 years, that it would cover any scratches or tears or malfunctions. That all I’d have to do is call and get my furniture fixed. They lied and they make that extra buck by teaching their employees to lie and sell 5 year warranty and they don’t give you what you paid for. Do NOT trust these theives!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered furniture 14 months ago, and was assured it would here in six weeks. I called several times a month and kept being told next month. Finally someone new, Scott, took over the business and he was wonderful. Not only did he finally get my furniture, but it was delivered quickly. The delivery crew were so nice and incredibly attentive and careful getting it in my home. I know there are so many bad reviews regarding the store and it’s previous owners, but give the new owners and the store a chance. I can’t say enough about how wonderful they have been!

It's been 1 yr. today that my chair was paid in full. I have been given excuses such as; there are no truck drivers, then the truck driver went to jail, no phone number to contact the company the chair was to be shipped from, they can only contact them via email. Other excuses; Corporate issues & most recently, new owners taking ownership. On Aug.14, 2023, I was told the new owners were to reorder my chair. I haven't heard anything. I have been more than patient. I wouldn't recommend this company if you are looking for a Speedy furniture delivery.

Just bought a recliner chair 12/30/23 I believe the sales guys name was Scott. He was super helpful and very nice to both my sister and I. Will definitely plan to buy furniture from here again.

Came in the winter and the owner took her time and was so helpful with my many questions. I got sick and put off buying a couch. Returned in June and spoke with Scott and he was again very helpful and patient. Didn’t push us to buy anything, only offered helpful advice. We bought a sectional that day, came out cheaper than the tag price in store (and $200 cheaper than competitor sale price). We were given a time frame of around 2 weeks. Couch came into the store exactly in 2 weeks and he had it delivered the following day on time. Scott was clear and prompt with all my communication via calling/texting. The bad reviews had me a little worried but everything went so smoothly and we are happy with our purchase!

Good prices, BUT....received a damaged drawer in our bedroom set. Assured that a new one was ordered. 6 months later ...yup....still no replacement. They are 're-ordering'. So you COULD save a few bucks, but me, I prefer my purchases to be intact and undamaged. Obviously not recommending as a source of furniture. Your experience might be different......best refuse delivery on any damaged items after checking it CAREFULLY. Lottsa luck.

If there was a zero that's what I would give. No communication. Ordered June 3 2023 we were told it would be way before June 30th. It's July 27th still missing the mirror which we were told would be delivered Monday. No calls no mirrors. This company is anything but speedy. People working in latrobe are incompetent liars. Don't ever buy run away.

Update May 2023: still nothing from this company. No calls, no updates, no furniture. Anytime I call, I am expected to speak with the owner about a refund but they are never available to speak. May need to drive to the location to apply pressure for a resolution. Beyond frustrating.Worst business I’ve ever dealt with. I am filing a small claims case and contacted the BBB as they refuse to provide me a refund for a product I purchased in March 2022 and still have yet to receive. Awful awful awful. Don’t walk - RUN from this business.

At first our experience was very pleasant. The owner, Ken, was friendly, and very helpful when we selected our furnature. He said that the furnature would be in in a few months...well a few months turned into a YEAR of waiting! We were promised courtesy calls when pieces of furnature arrived, and updates about shipments. We were never notified once. After 5 months of waiting we called. We were promised each month that it would be delivered. It took a YEAR to receive our furnature! Needless to say were were very upset about the ridiculous wait time, lack of compensation, and poor professionalism. We requested for money back. After fighting for compensation, they finally agreed to give us some money back. Speedy send the first check with the wrong names on the check, then the second check was someone else's, and then the third check had an incorrect memo on it!! It was absolutely unbelievable. Speedy requested that we deliver the errored check to their shop. We decided we were not going to return the check without our check in hand, and Karen hung up the phone on us. I will never order from this poorly managed company again!

I ordered furniture in beginning of September, paid in full, over$8000. I am still waiting on furniture. Every time I call I get a run around and they'll call me back. They NEVER call back. You have to call them again. It's the end of January and I'm still waiting on my furniture. They aren't BBB accredited. At this point IDK whom to contact because they're franchises.

Stopped after work to browse and bought a sectional couch back in January. Some of it was ordered wrong and here it is July and still waiting. No one ever calls even when they say they will call back. I even called the corporate store and I get the same runaround. No one there cares!!!! I strongly recommend not dealing with this place. 👎🏼👎🏼

We got to pick up our new couch on Saturday and we couldn’t be happier! When we initially came in we had our minds set on one particular style, but they took the time to learn what we were needing and showed us an even better option which we took! When we ordered our couch a few months ago everyone was very upfront about the wait times they were experiencing. But honestly, the way the world has been lately, I wasn’t totally surprised. It took me almost 3 weeks to get the time to pick it up and everyone was so kind an understanding about it. I highly recommend this place to everyone, and I can’t wait to see what else we can add to our home from here. Between the customer service we received and the insanely good price we couldn’t be happier with our decision to order through Speedy Furniture.

I hate being this person, I am pretty calm, I try to be understanding but I’ve had my couch for now a year today…. A YEAR! It broke sometime end of march to early April I reported as soon as I figured it out. I’ve been working with Speedy Furniture of Irwin, Karen and Ken the owners of the store. Since I reported in End of March/Early April, they sent out Danyos furniture on May 8th 2022. The repair guy advised needed a whole new piece, contacted Ken who advised he’d get it ordered. Early July contacted Ken again…. Advised the part was in, just came in. Danyo and I went back and forth with scheduling and finally got scheduled August 13th 2022… they come out the guy didn’t have all the parts to fix it….The guy never tells his company he was unable to complete job called when he said he’d be out the following Saturday Aug 20th… they have to schedule me September 17th…. They come out the 17th fix the couch Yay!!! September 20th couch steel beam breaks again… I call Ken, Karen and Danyo and report this. speedy never calls back… Danyo calls after multiple attempts… tells me they told Ken it can’t be fixed. I called multiple times finally get a hold of Ken end of September 2022… he tells me they will order a entire new piece but it’s on back order. I say okay understood…. called all of November told Ken would call back within 48hrs each time… Ken never called…. Karen never called… text Karen November 22, 2022 Karen says she will contact Ashley to report it’s broken, and see what they said. I text back asking about the order and that Ken said that the piece was ordered in September…. She never responds…. We ask an update no response for days then she says “we have not heard back from Ashley yet”…. I call Ashley they can’t give update because it’s not handled through them…. Karen, and Ken still no response my couch has been broken for 8 months.… November 28th I contact Donny/Danny who is corporate with Speedy Funiture nice guy as well… he says He,Karen, Or Ken would contact me back with a resolve…. No one has called or texted…I write a review they respond and wonder why I didn’t report the bed being broken too… ummm look at my couch situation and you want me to report the bed not supporting my mattress too? My husband build something to fix it….I left messages at corporate, I’ve left messages at Latrobe store, I’ve contact magistrate and will have to file with them. I’ve filed with the attorney general and the BBB…. I just want a resolution.Get no response via phone or text.Horrible company… Nice people… horrible business…. I asked for a refund July 31,2022 because this wasn’t even the furniture I ordered back in April 2021 that furniture was unavailable so I went with what Karen picked out for us…. I’ve never cussed them out, I’ve never yelled, I may have had a little attitude in my voice because let’s be honest this is frustrating. There is a reason they have terrible reviews and a 3.6 rating. I highly suggest going through Ashley furniture directly and not dealing with this third party. They are a bunch of crooks.

Horrible experience. Ordered a sofa. Want told it would be 30 days. As the time past the idiot sales guy kept changing the date and less and less communication about what was going on. Eventually he stopped communication. When I asked the owner she had no idea what was going on and refused to give a refund at first. After months of arguing with these people we finally got a refund. These people hold your money hostage while they lie and ignore your request for what is going on. Bad run business by an old lady who doesn’t seem to know what is going on in the store. Do not shop here. 0 stars

WARNING!!!! WARNING!!!!Speedy furniture is a complete rip off. This is a warning to never buy furniture from this place. My daughter bought bedroom furniture well over a year ago and they just keep giving her the run around. I guess the magistrate will be next to try and sue them for the money as they will not deliver or give her a refund. I only gave them one star because I had to.

My 72 year old mother has been sitting on a wooden chair in her living room for a month waiting for her love seat, she is yet to receive it. We were told they have 17 of this item in their warehouse. I’ll be reaching out to the corporate office tomorrow. Absolutely inexcusable. I would rate “zero” starts but that’s not an option.After reviewing all the one star posts if my mother doesn’t have her sofa this week, I’ll call the “call for action” news team next. After a very long wait, numerous phone calls and the run around, my furniture came today. It was not what I ordered, not even the correct color…. The delivery people were great ( private contractor) but as far as the furniture goes, BUYER BEWARE… I kept it because I needed something to sit on and was frustrated due to the entire ordeal but NEVER AGAIN…..

I ordered a desk chair back on May 8th. I was told that because of the shortage of foam that they did not carry the chair I desired and it had to come from the warehouse and while it usually takes a couple weeks, it could take a month. No problem, I waited it out. After the month time-frame passed, I would call just for an update on the chair's progress.It was at this time that I started to get the runaround, claims that their point person at the warehouse was on vacation, so they had no idea if it was even AT the warehouse, OR at another one of their stores.That answer, honestly, was refreshing, because a couple times WHEN I would call, they wouldn't answer the phone at all, and sometimes, they would claim they'd call and let me know the progress, but they never did.Finally, when they said the chair had arrived at another store, they claimed they'd let me know this on June 23rd, but I got no such phone call of arrival as of June 25th. It was at that time that I just got fed up and decided to contact the BBB, because it's obvious that something was turning up sour here.As of the time that I am typing this (The Fourth of July) I have gotten my refund back, but I had to open a dispute/claim through the credit card that I used to pay for it initially in order to get the money back. How my card company and these fine folks settle the money issue is between them, but frankly, I don't care anymore because I got my money back, and if that chair ever does show up, they can use it to put books on it, or sofa seats, or something, because it's of little use to me now.This is was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had with a furniture store, and if every other store of their ilk went of business tomorrow and I needed a bed, I'd sleep on the bloody floor first...

I’m just going to give this place a one star due to the fact we have yet to receive our entertainment stand that we ordered back in December (Now nearing end of July) we ordered that and a couch which when it arrived it was the wrong one but we kept it cause it was bigger and matched any ways but then received the fire place insert with the couch but then months later after calling and being told one day and being told we would get a call back the next day or whatever they never called back so here’s to hoping we get the stand soon! Take your time and find another store if you are looking.

They do not care about their customers at all they just scam you out your money and tell you no refunds. I never received my furniture, they said it would take 1-2weeks and its been 6months. Ordered a couch in July and it’s now December and no couch! They always give the same excuse when we call. “It’s in the warehouse and will be available in 2 weeks” needless to say it never is in the “warehouse” we ordered from levins and it came in 2 weeks! Purchased a headboard in 8/17/21. Was told it would take about 3 weeks. The owner is the one that did the transaction. I thought she seemed like an honest person. I didn't hear anything from them. I contacted them in Oct. and was told it would be in on the 21st. Didn't hear from them, I stopped by in Nov. Bill called the owner in Pitts. He told me it was there and he would get it next week. I called 2 weeks later and left a message to call me back. The didn't. I stopped by 12/11/21 and told them I'm tired of the lies. The headboard was not there and he said it would be there Jan. 17. We got our money back. Don't believe anything they tell you.

Highly recommend Speedy Furniture! They’re the only ones that I know about that have a pet protection warranty & the gentleman there is beyond nice. He is SO helpful & kind. I didn’t feel pressured to buy at all and will definitely go back to buy more furniture there and refer anyone looking! We got a love seat, recliner & dining room table and chairs and we truly love everything!

The worst service ever. The dates they tell you always change. They have no idea when your furniture is coming. Prices are the same as anywhere else but you wait over 3 months for the bought and paid in full items to come then you pay for delivery. Have to sign a paper that you can not get a cash refund for furniture that never comes just a store credit so you can wait months for nothing to show up. Go anywhere else.
