I have no problems ever shopping here. I buy my dog’s food at this store as I have had problems with the big pet delivery services. The product is fresh. The selection is huge. The staff are courteous. I bought a Beta fish 2 years ago here. He is still going strong. I have bought many cans and bags of dog food -all fresh. I can’t say enough good about it after being a customer for close to 3 years.

I use to go here all the time for my tank filters and fish and reptile supplies but they are really disappointing lately. The workers that deal with the fish are very standoff and treat me like I am a burden. But I do get treated ok at the counter as long as it's not the blonde haired haired guy who handles the fish he is rude and avoids me. It would be nice if they would just get themselves together.

The pet grooming service is top notch. Miranda is the groomer for my two long coat chihuahuas ( Nikki and Penny ) and she is excellent. Sweet and patient with our pups.

Fish section was a complete disgrace. There were dead fish in every single tank with more than half of the tanks having more dead fish than alive fish. Some were so decayed that they must have been sitting in there dead for more than a week. Do not spend money here

My family and I love to visit pet supplies plus because we like to look at all the pets they sell.They have fish, cats, frogs, spiders, hamsters and much more.They have a place where they wash dogs which is very cool.They also have friendly staff and an excellent supply of pet foods and accessories to choose from. We truly enjoy having pet supply plus in Latrobe.

My husband and I went to get my dog's food tonight after we ate out and when I walked into the store the cashier was trying to teach a young girl how to handle her St. Bernard type of dog on a leash. When I walked past her at the front door, I heard her telling the girl, "Just pull hard on the leash and tell him NO!" So we went back to get our food and I could still hear the cashier lady telling the girl to practice in the store and not to go out yet. When we came up to the register, she was still engaged with this young girl and her very large dog. In order to get the cashier's attention, I told her: "Ma'am, we are ready to check out." The cashier did not even acknowledge me! So again, I said to the lady, "Ma'am, we are ready to check out." She finally turned to face me and said....."I know, hold on." I could not even believe she said that to me! And, by know there was another couple behind us. So, when she finally came behind the counter, she looked at me and said..." I was just trying to help a customer." And at this time, I'm getting more upset, wanting to point out to her that I TOO am a customer, and her job is not to train people on how to control their dog on a leash! So I replied, "I know what you were trying to do but this is not dog training class." I have been in the customer service industry for over 25 years and even in management. If she wanted to continue with the young girl, she should have told the girl to wait a second while she rang up the people at the register and then continued when nobody was waiting. The fact that she completely ignored me the first time I spoke to her was beyond horrible customer service. Her reply to me when I told her that we were ready to check out, was rude and uncalled for! Then her excuse to me about helping a customer was unwarranted and even more ridiculous!!! Even if she would have acknowledged me POLITELY, the first time I told her we were ready to check out...I may have been more apt to have a favorable response to her. Isn't her primary job duty to check out customers at the register? I feel that she handled the situation, completely wrong, and I will never step into your store again. I also feel that she completely disrespected me as a customer. She made me feel like my purchase was not important. I will be buying online from now on from another retailer.

This place is great. Customer service is always awesome. Just went in to look for a bag of food for the dogs and they had none on the shelf. The lady working there was kind enough to go check in the back a luckily they had one bag left. Other times when they were out of stock of the larger bags, they sold me the smaller ones at the same price. They will deliver to your house and every tenth bag of dog food you buy is a FREE. That’s a $50-$70 dollar value in most cases

I'm sorry to say that I'm disappointed for the 3rd time. 3 times going here, 3 times my boy looked great. But 3 times they shaved him too close and razor burned him in sensitive areas. He was scooting for a week. But worse than that, this time his claws were cut to far down. He can't walk for more than a few feet at a time! It took a week and a half to heal! He's so sweet and innocent, I protect him wth my life. So, needless to say I was in tears. I think he's going to hold it against me bcz I took him there! Last thing, 2 times before this time, l specifically mentioned all of my concerns. And it happened again!! This is why I'm leaving this detailed negative feedback. Seriously, I don't care if this person looses there job over this. I told you what not to do, and it happened anyway! You hurt my kid bro and I'm pissed and hurt. Be more careful from now on.

Got a beautiful Black Orchid Betta the other day. Must have got their shipment in that day their tanks were full with a great selection of what you'd usually find. Everything looked healthy no dead fish in the tanks. I may go back and get a shoal of neons. Just been looking for a great price to buy a bunch for a 55 planted. Prices seemed reasonably priced though. I did see a little bit of Black Beard Algae but it looked like it was manageable. I actually have a little bit in 2 of my tanks but the way it's grown it looks decent. You just have to be careful and keep your water clean and it won't take over.

Fair prices,service is ok.I would not say excellent.I've been there quite a few times where there was no excuse for the time I had to wait to get something as simple as 10 feeder fish..while 2 employees are at the front counter doing non-customer related work & they have to call another employee.. who is helping 2 other customers at the same time,then me.Know how to change that?If I ask you to help me with the fish..& you're not the only one working the counter,how about you helping me instead calling someone who you know is busy doing something you told them to do?Problem:SolvedI've had to walk out a couple times b/c I waited 15min for someone to help me,with no other customers in the store..when it was known I needed help.My only gripe.Nobody likes their time being unnecessarily wasted..

I took my puppy Winnie for the first time for a nail trim as we changed groomers. She did absolutely wonderful. Brandon couldn’t have been sweeter to her and she cooperated so wonderfully that she picked out several toys on the way out! We will definitely be back!

Super clean store! I went there to use the self dog wash which was one of the better setups that I’ve ever been to. I really enjoyed that it was all tile instead of the metal tubs. And they had a higher one so I didn’t have to lean and hurt my back washing my smaller dog. Great friendly service as www!!!
