I can't express how grateful I am for Lakeview Animal Clinic. Since 1999, they've been the trusted vet for all my dogs. The vets and staff are not only knowledgeable and caring but have truly gone above and beyond for my pets. Their exceptional service is why they are, without a doubt, the best!

Called to get my puppy seen they got me in right away. The wait wasn’t long. The vet and the tech seemed like they really cared for my puppy and were very nice. Best of all my puppy got great fast care and at a price that’s affordable to a family. I will definitely be using them as our vet from here on out!

My cat has been going through some health issues the last few months. Everytime I have called when she was having an episode, they always fit me in to their schedule. They have called me later to check on how my cat is doing. I really appreciate it.

If I could give less than 1 star I would, absolutely the most unhelpful receptionist I have ever encountered. I tried to make an appointment for my cat to be seen as a new client, and after speaking with the very unreceptive "receptionist" I don't understand how they have any clients at all. I wonder if the vet knows how many clients this person fails to schedule... I guess if you aren't a millionaire you can't take your animals to the vet? Because there isn't an affordable option anywhere anymore, the humane society no longer has vet services, and apparently it is impossible to be seen by another vet if you can't locate your animals past vet records, so if your vet closes what are you supposed to do? Again, when asked this question the "receptiojust" only offered frustration, and no help. Why even answer the phone if you are not willing to perform your job? Nobody wants to do their jobs. Unbelievable...

Wonderful and down to earth staff. The dogs enjoy coming here because they make it a pleasant experience for them. The care is great and they even have geriatric care for elderly dogs!

Cannot recommend Lakeview enough!! Our 3 month old puppy Wally got sick on a Saturday & Dr. Stas spoke with us all weekend (& it was even a holiday weekend) over the phone & then got us in early Monday morning for surgery to remove the toy he swallowed. Such a stressful experience as 1st time dog parents but they helped ease our minds during the entire process. The vet techs were also beyond friendly & reassuring the morning of surgery. Thank you so much! ❤️

Today we had to send our fur baby to her eternal doggie home. our beloved Yoshi was a happy and beautiful baby. The staff at Lakeview was so compassionate.. Even after all was done, staff hugged me as I got into my truck. They made a bad situation a little more bearable though I cried whole way home. 🐾💙Thank you to Dr and staff for helping on Short notice and assurance that it was time and best for my baby.

Was my first time here today with my dog (pitbull-amstaff mix) and they were awesome! Super informative and awesome with a super hyper doggo lol I would most definitely recommend them before anywhere else in the area. Prices are fair and staff is awesome 10/10 will be going here from now on!!😁

We are traveling from southern California and my 14 yo Havanese that required a blood test by her oncologist for leukemia. I first called another vet service in the area that said they couldn't help but the woman was not friendly nor did she make any effort to make recommendations. I then called Lakeview and was helped by RORY, who was a 5-STAR GAL! Excellent customer service, helpful, and was able to get us an appointment for the next day. From check in, to check out everyone there was kind, efficient and helpful. If I lived in the area this would be my choice for a vet service. 5 STARS!

I am so grateful for Lakeview Animal Clinic and Dr. Katie Silvko. Lakeview came to my rescue when my dog sustained an eye injury. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, compassionate, and accommodating. Dr. Katie Silvko is amazing, she provided both traditional and adjunctive therapy options to help ease my dog's pain and promote healing of her eye. I cannot recommend a practice more, in my opinion, with better care, compassionate service, and honest prices!

Dr. Stas has been great with my Daryl. He takes time to explain everything he’s doing, and when I took Daryl in to have a lump checked out( which thank goodness, turned out to be benign) he educated me on warning signs of dangerous lumps and bumps. Friendly staff as well! They are operating very smoothly, even during the COVID restrictions. Daryl and I have been very happy with Lakeview :)

Never use this vet!! I gave them a second chance after having my concerns disregarded which delayed treatment until it was too late. Then recently was turned away when I was in desperate need causing my animal unnecessary distress. Donovan’s in Ligonier is well worth the extra miles. Great staff and caring vet!

We were visiting from out of town for the holidays when our dog became sick. After trying several emergency vets and contacting local veterinary offices, Lakeview Animal Clinic did not turn us away. The office staff was very helpful and we were very pleased and thankful for the time they spent with our sick pup. We appreciated their willingness to squeeze us in, even though their schedule was full. We highly recommend Lakeview Animal Clinic, they truly care about your pet’s well-being. I can't say enough good things about the people at Lakeview Animal Clinic. My parents "doggy sat" my baby boy and he needed to be seen by a vet since our vet wasn't available. They suggested calling here where they take their dog. I said okay and they saw him the day after I called. He was a very sick pup. He had so many issues but they tried to help him. My heart is broken because on May 5th I had to put my baby Nico to sleep. Dr. Stas and staff were so sympathetic, let us stay with him as long as we wanted. It took a lot to pull me away from Nico. After such a hard loss, I got a sympathy card in the mail from the whole staff. I cried for 20 minutes not just at my loss but that they were so caring that they took the time for each of them to write a personal note in the card. This was so sweet and amazing to me that they took the time to do this. They are a very caring vet office.

They were very patient with us prior to putting our Jada down due to Liver Cancer that the x-ray showed.We recently received a sympathy card from them.We will continue to go to them with our cats and our next dog . Rates are reasonable.

Absolute horrible visit! Made a first visit for my dog. Showed up and first they couldn’t even find me in there system. Then the lady tells me I missed my appointment. I told her there’s no ways that possible. Mind you I never got a phone call or a reminder or anything then I politely ask if they have other appointments as as I’m working with them they just walk away from me.I stand there waiting for a few minutes thinking there’s no they that they would just walk away from me and not assist me but sure enough that’s exactly what they did. Very disappointed because I came there because they had good reviews and lots of experience but apparently I was very mistaken.

I walked away from my experience with Lakeview Animal Clinic having very mixed emotions.We called initially for a second opinion for our pet following surgical procedures she had done. They were understanding of our worry and saw our girl in a very timely manner. Scheduling was tricky for us and I feel they were more than accommodating with getting us seen promptly. When you are worried about your pet, being met with understanding and compassion in a timely manner, even when the circumstances might be inconvenient, is part of excellence of care and they were great in this regard.The quality of care received from the Doctor was exceptional. He was incredibly knowledgeable, to the point, informative, and after treatment Rx’ed by him, our girl is well on her way to feeling better. Ultimately, this is the end goal and I really wish that I could just close this review on that point. I do want to state again, that the Doctor we saw was efficient, intelligent, and patient. How this ends for us, should not be a deterrent to future clients because I think due to our specific circumstances, we were treated differently.Our girl has really been through the ringer over the last few months. Due to Covid restrictions at her last vet, we were not able to accompany her into the officewhen we dropped her for surgery. Every subsequent visit after surgery was also curbside care. Unfortunately, something happened during that time that made her incredibly fearful of the vet. Couple that with not feeling well due to complications after surgery, and I’m certain that she associates the vet with unpleasant and scary experiences. She’s so fearful that on her follow up to Lakeview she refused to go in the door when we arrived for her appointment. Even though Lakeview was a different facility and they did not hurt her in any way at her initial visit with them. She’s just that scared.After using a choke collar/leash to get her in the exam room (I realize this likely had to be done because she simply would not go in the door) the technician that was assigned to us seemed overly annoyed. There was no greeting; no attempt to introduce herself to our pet before pulling her inside. This was my first time meeting anyone at the office (my fiancé had taken our pet the first time) and while she likely didn’t realize that, I’m not sure she would have cared.Her whole demeanor was one of annoyance. In full disclosure, our pet was not an angel during this visit. She refused to enter the building, she growled and barked at certain times, she jumped on me trying to get my attention, and overall behaviorally she wasn’t great. However, …I walked away from the appointment feeling like the biggest pet parent failure. She told me that my pet was disrespectful, she told me we needed to get her into training (okay, agreed. She’s now traumatized and most certainly needs some help) she told me that my specific breed of pet “wasn’t her favorite” and she told me in so many words that my fiancé was lying to me about our pet’s behavior at a prior visit when he told me that she had done well. I was then told to leave out a back door, down a flight of stairs to keep us away from other people and animals in the waiting room. She did not wait to see if we made it down the stairs okay but rather said “are you ok?” And when I said “we’re fine” she closed the door and went on her way. I felt like a criminal and cried most of the way home.Our pet’s complications post surgery have been a worrisome battle for us for several weeks. We’ve lost sleep, time from work, and have spent well over a thousand dollars trying to get her healthy again. While I am relieved that the Doctor at Lakeview was able help our pet, I’m really disappointed in how things ended. I do not feel comfortable going back. It’s unfortunate because I do feel that the Doctor we saw was talented.For a lot of us who own pets, they are family. They are like children to us. And we want others to like them. Hearing that our pet wasn’t liked and was simply tolerated really hurt.
