Organized and tons of items! To address other reviews about pricing of instruments. These are decent prices for instruments. (Former music educator and play in many ensembles.)Check out some of the music stores like Woodwind Brasswind online and you will see some crazy prices. One could buy a used car for the price of a good instrument, so if you see a trumpet for under $800 and you need one, grab it. Back to the store, clean, organized and friendly employees. I've found clothing , a music stand, holiday items and some good books there.

They've lost touch with their customer base. This is a review of goodwill as an organization, and not necessarily the Latrobe location specifically. I've had good experiences here, it's clean, well organized, and well stocked... however the fact that they're separating and exorbitantly pricing anything brand name, or remotely valuable is a shame. Upon my last visit I saw a trumpet for $750, a pyrex set of three bowls which retails for $48, priced at $75, and $25 shoes, just to name a few. I get that people were reselling thrift finds, but why should goodwill care if someone is able to make money off their purchases? I guess that could kind of go along with their mission of helping those in need, by providing some random thrifter with income. But as it is, the organization has become incredibly greedy, guess those at the top need to make the big bucks some how. Everything they get, for free, should be priced equally. Those that genuinely need to shop there for clothing items, household supplies, and whatever else deserve to have nice things at prices they can afford. For years I've shopped at different thrift stores, at first out of legitimate necessity, but in recent years as a hobby, not to resell - just for myself, however I won't be frequenting any goodwill location anymore, which is such a shame.

Clean store somewhat organized, but I witnessed a very upset employee today. Goodwill really needs to update their registers go with something easier to operate. Finally STOP MARKING UP ITEMS SO HIGH! This is so incredibly frustrating @Goodwill is not a antique dealer or name brand retailer.

While shopping at this location, a manager was training a new employee. The employee seemed very nice and excited about their first day on the job. That manager doing the training was incredibly rude the entire time to not only that employee but another one as well. All they were doing was asking questions and she couldn't be bothered with it. A week later while browsing at this same store, a supervisor of some sort was having a loud conversation about their disappointment with the previous shift employees. The entire store could hear the entire conversation. Now I understand why they are always hiring.

This store is absolutely DISGUSTING. The store is relatively clean, but the prices are sickening. Obviously, businesses need to make money, but this Goodwill gets their items for FREE and they charge $30 for a pair of beat up addidas shoes? Goodwill in general has raised their prices lately, but this store is more than any other. I hope nobody gives any of their money to this store. This is 100% NOT a non-profit business.

I no longer donate here because the manager is very nasty and was yelling at people as they donated, extremely unprofessional. It's obvious she hates her job, but even so, that's uncalled for. The selection is decent and store is spacious, but could use better organization. I agree about the brand name price mark ups being a bit ridiculous, given the fact they get all of this for free. Okay for shopping, but not for donating. Never again.

I left a review a month ago. To be fair I decided to come back. I can only assume you don't read reviews and/or you don't care and/or are mismanaged. You're not turning over merchandise. Product that was overpriced last month still there. I don't have to shop here and I won't bother coming back.Hmmm where do I begin? Racks are too close together. Merchandise is overpriced even if it's Reebok. T shirts at 4.49? C'mon even Walmart sells their new stuff on clearance at $3.You get decent donations because of your location, and it's wasted because of a little too much greed. I know, I know, you're going to get your share so you can outsmart the eBay sellers. There's a Salvation Army down the road doing three times your business because they get new stuff to the floor quickly and don't try to gouge regular shoppers because they don't want resellers to make an extra buck.Goodwill has lost its way and forgets it's mission. By the way, I don't resell, never have.

I am appalled by the prices in this store! Paperback books for 2.29 that a few miles down the road at a reasonable thrift store cost .25.Opened board games for $7? These are retail prices on used goods that cost nothing to aquire. I cannot in good faith either shop or donate items here any longer, there has to be a better way to help the community.

This goodwill has forgotten what the purpose of goodwill is. It most definitely is not to get stock for free, and sell stuff for close to retail. Absolutely ridiculous, instruments for over $450, record albums that are torn up and scratched beyond belief. Absolutely disgusted with my experience and will not be returning to this goodwill anytime soon!!

Wanted to purchase an item without a tag. I was told I could not purchase the item. I asked if an associate in the back could tag the item and that I had no problem waiting or coming back, They told me no and that they will be put back tomorrow when it’s put back on the racks. Very ridiculous policy. Why put items out on the floor without a tag so they can’t be sold?

I like shopping here but the prices can be very high. They separate popular name brand clothing and mark up the prices. For instance they will take a victoria secret pajama set and mark it for $25. You can get the same set brand new for the same price or cheaper during the semi-annual sale, so why would i pay that amount at a thrift store? The clothing is donated i dont think just because its "brand" named it should be marked up for more. I dont know who makes the prices but they make absolutely no sense. They charge $30 for a Columbia fleece jacket when you can get a new one for $20 bucks more. I got 3 pairs of Michael kors sandals for $8 a pair, im not complaining by any means because that was a great deal but it makes no sense. Those sandals average $90 a pair on the site but they werent considered a select item so they werent marked up. I think the pricing should remain consistent, for instance if all jeans are supposed to be $4.99 like the sign says then all jeans regardless of brand should be $4.99. Dont just pick and choose what you think should be marked up because of the name.

This goodwill has forgotten it gets its stock for free, and raised their prices astronomically. Good selection of clothes but if your shopping at Good will you don't want to pay 30 dollars for a shirt.

It seems like there are a few new cashiers and they don't have the best customer service skills. When you're checking out, you wait at least 3-4 minutes for a cashier to notice you and another 3-4 minutes for them to walk over to ring you out. I miss seeing the regulars (before covid-19 started)

Just got ripped off about 8 to $10 cuz the cashier with the nose ring the new one can't be bothered to ring stuff up separately and just puts it all in one pile and rings it all up together and when called out on it she just made excuses didn't even give me my half off on the items that were on sale this is pathetic people come here to save money and you're literally literally stealing it from them I will

Compared to other Goodwills in the area this one sticks out for his messy design and over priced items. It's lack of items definitely made my 20 mile trip feel unfulfilled. I shop at Goodwill atleast once a week and I'll prob cut this one out of my route after my last visit.

Couldn't find what we were looking for but they were helpful locating where to look. Just didn't have size we needed but we'll definitely return.

Goodwill of Latrobe PA has lost out on lot of donations from the locals since they decided to NOT TAKE DONATIONS during the hours they are closed. And since opening until so late in the morning the majority of the community will be donating elsewhere. That's really sad.

Neat and tidy store. The bric a brac is so expensive. The other thrift store on the highway has cheaper bric a brac. For example exact same item, $2.99 versus $6.99

Nothing in any real order. You would have to spend hours looking at every rack to find a size or style. Not even sure if they have a men's /women's/ children's section.Pricing is a bit much too. I saw things from Walmart dollar rack priced at 1.99 here.

The pricing of items is not done with any "thinking". For example, they price all hardback books the same price without any consideration about the books condition. Everyone knows that a book with obvious water damage is not going to sell at the same price as an undamaged one. There are other examples but it would take a book to list them all.

High prices. C'mon Goodwill, you got everything in the store for free but price Local team apparel like new? Why is it even separated? GREED. Oh the store is dirty too.

This location had quite a bit of merchandise. I purchased more than I went I for but not as much as I would have. Several items were way overpriced.
