This store had a total beauty makeover maybe a year ago. I wish they would get more staff to keep the store up with keeping it clean, stocked and organized because it was so nice when they re-opened. The staff that I have come across are nice and always busy with doing something because they never have enough staffing to stock. Good decent prices. I always check there first for need basic items before stepping foot into Save-a-Lot (where you don't really save!) and when I dont want to go to Wal-Mart. Just get more staffing please to beautify the store.

I called into this store around 8ish and asked how long they are open for tonight. The lady on the phone was very rude and hostile and said she is closing at 9pm. I showed up around 845pm and the store was closed. Very unprofessional especially since she told me they would be open till 9pm.

If you use coupons get ready for the attitudes from 2 certain employees. This Dollar General has a hard time keeping employees (that should tell you alot about the store & management). Recently they've been closing early because nobody wants to come to work there, especially the manager. If you're looking for a specific item, check online first because 80% of the time, the shelves are empty. The appearance of the store is a mess! If you can avoid going to this Dollar General, I recommend you do. There's a Dollar General in town that has awesome employees, the store is well stocked, definitely worth the extra 3-5 minute drive

You feel like you need a shower Everytime you leave this store. Maybe clean the place or remodel. Has anyone ever seen someone actually use a mop on that floor? And not for cleaning up a spill...in my opinion I would go elsewhere.

Tried to use Dollar general's DG pickup and it was a complete failure. I used the app to place my order making sure my 5 off of 25 would come off, got the email that said they were ready only to see that an item was out of stock. So of course this knocked off my coupon and I would have paid the same price while still missing an item. Checked the app and it said they had two in stock so I call to inquire and was told that they scaned the shelf and it wasn't there so it was probably in back not unpacked yet. My order wasn't supposed to be until between 10:00 and 11:00 they very easily could have gone back there and unpacked it but seemed very apathetic and uncaring. Didn't offer to go look for it or anything. They didn't ask for my name or anything when I asked them to cancel the order so I'm assuming I'm the only one that made an order that was ready for pickup today. Overall just very unsatisfactory customer service.

I do some shopping there but they do not adhere to the customers wearing masks! Customers can say they have asthma or can't breathe with the mask (who can!?) and they are 'EXCUSED' from protecting the employees and other customers! Grr...They need to stay home then!

This place would be much better if they were not so short handed. I consistently see people put down their merchandise and walk out because of the time it takes to check out.

I was on a doordash to this location and I was here before they closed and they closed early. AWFUL ESTABLISHMENT. Now I cannot complete my customers order. 15 mins before they closed, they locked their doors.

The frozen food section is nice.. Although they do not sale ethnic hair products like murrays loc gel or wave caps or clips. 😒👎

Today is November 30th 2019 I went shopping at the dollar store the store was okay I wanted to donate toys for toys for tots and they don't even have a donation boxI thought every dollar store had a toys for tots donation box on Lincoln avenue in Latrobe PA

Dollar General in Scottdale is a good place. I have ne er gone In the store and seen an employee sitting. The employees there are helpfull,respectfull and just plain nice!

Best store for your buck. Near perfect exept need to make the 5 dollar off coupon good on ANY Saturday so we can USE the coupon

It could be cleaner and provide a bathroom for customers especially people with kids and the staff could use some training and could be better with the customers not all but some .
