Worse pharmacy I’ve ever been to the Lansford pa. Store. Refused to give me my sons meds cause they claimed the dr didn’t put something through I had dr on phone who said it was all sent through insurance approved. I only had this issue with this store the previous one I used never had this issue with his medications. The staff was very rude and made a comical joke about me paying cash for the medication but I can’t afford it that’s understandable and it’s always a long wait that place needs some new employees who actually treat people with respect.

Poor customer service from the pharmacy department the cashier need better customer service she act like she don’t like her job and takes it out on client she been rude and had scream match with me because she don’t know how to speak to people I took all of my family medicine to Lehighton much nicer people even a cup of coffee if you like for free Rite Aid just lost five customer in just a few minutes when transferring my medication they try to hold hostage smh

Very clean and organized. All employees are friendly and helpful! Pharmacy staff is very nice and work hard to help every customer and quick with prescription fills/refills. 4 stars because drive through hours are not correct. Many times try to use drive thru due to my schedule (try to make it a quick stop) and it says it's open but it isnt. Other than that this Rite Aid is the best in Carbon County.

Young short haired blonde girl was very pleasant and helped me out. When the transaction was about to be completed, she needed an override from the manager Amy. Amy came and belittled the poor girl about what she did wrong in front of me, the customer. I thought it was very rude and uncalled for. Even if the girl DID do something wrong, it was clearly not a big deal and didn’t warrant the nasty attitude from Amy. I’m sure the young blonde girl will find a great job one day. She’s great!

I just moved to this state, so my insurance didn't transfer yet & I went in there, late on a Sunday, looking for alternatives for pain relief, to help me with my degenerative spine excruciating pain level, I have MS & cancer.I could barely walk & it was obvious. The pharmacist didn't even hesitate to come out into the store & help me find something that would at least get me through the night. He was awesome & so was the female tech who was working with him that night.It was him though, I wish I knew his name, that noticed a very much in pain person, barely walking, aimlessly around, looking for something, anything, that might help... he suggested 2 things and they actually worked.. they took 3 days but he was right about his suggestions.I owe him a debt of gratitude!

I've already been merged with my young cousin of the same name. They sent me home with his meds and then they said I lied about MY DOB. I gave my own and they didn't check. They were ready to send my meds home with a 14 year old. When I complained, they only wanted to get me in trouble for fraud over the DOB and didn't care that they could have killed someone.

Each time I have to go to this pharmacy it's a terrible experience. They have lost my script last year and I had to get a replacement. Also I had something called in for one of the kids that had strep at 11am and went to pick it up after leaving the doctor and they told me it wouldn't be ready until 3pm. After returning later it still was not filled and I was told it would be a couple hours yet. I went back at 7 and they said I would have to wait until the next day. After explaining that my sick child couldn't wait they did fill it that dayBut each time I go my experience is worst than the last. Although they are just a three minute drive after my once again bad experience today I will make the almost 20 minute drive to Walmart for any further pharmacy needs.

The people that work here have to be the most miserable, incompetent people I have experienced in my life. Whom ever is the manager of this store needs to be fired along with the rest of the people who work in the pharmacy. Worst customer service!!!!!!They talk about customers after they leave in front of other customers . VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

I have spent many of my adult years being disappointed by local corporate pharmacies, but tonight you went too far. I understand that you are busy, but it is not okay to treat customers like you do. Upon arriving at the Rite Aid Pharmacy in Lansford at 6pm on Monday, to pick up a prescription I was told by the woman who seemed to be in charge that, “we are way backed up and have people who are actually sick waiting to get their medications filled. We don’t have time to fill that prescription.” That prescription was for birth control. The staff showed no interest in helping me get this prescription filled at all. And had no knowledge of why I was perscribed this medicardion. I’m understanding of the workload but I was treated as though I do not matter because of that employees opinion of my choices. Thank you Rite Aid for making me feel cheap and judged. I hope sharing this keeps other people from feeling how I do.

Horrendous customer service at this pharmacy. Last year I had an issue with them telling me my insurance wouldn't cover nausea medication. I went back and forth between rite aid and my insurance to get these pills filled. It took over a month because rite aid wouldn't return the insurance company's phone calls. By the time I got the meds I didn't need them.And Everytime I go there u wait for 20 to 30 minutes to pick up meds just to be told they aren't done yet. I wish there was another pharmacy in town I could use so I can stop coming to this place. They don't care about anyone or why they need this medication.Last night I tried to drop off pills, I was the only one in the drop off line. I waited 15 minutes and was then told they were closing in 15 minutes and couldn't fill them until the next day. What a joke!

I can’t believe how this rite aid is in business. I’ve been trying to get my medications for two days, (that I really need) just to tell me that it’s not ready when I was told yesterday that it was going to be ready today. Also, I’ve been calling for days and no one answers the phone. I have never experience anything like this. They need to close this rite aid.

I dont want to rate this at all, worst pharmacy in town. the store is good, but pharmacy is terrible. my grandmother has been waiting a week for medicine. No body answers the phone for hours. I called their today 15 times back to back and no answer. That is ridiculous my sons medicine is always on back order or im waiting a few days for it or for some reason in thier computers it says my inusrance wont cover it when they do and did for years hes a diabetic and when i call my insurance they say it should be fully covered. very unorganized staff

Worst pharmacy ever. Obviously they need new employees since everyone's leaving terrible reviews... Why are they still working there!? Multiple times they have said "what" and hung up on me. I WILL be calling the store owner. It's also not just 1, a FEW of them are rude. GET IT TOGETHER AND GET RID OF THEM. FIX THIS PROBLEM, EVERYONE IS COMPLAINING!

This pharmacy should be shut down. The tech who takes in the drop offs is so rude. I dont understand why anyone like this has a job in customer service. His name begins with an S and ends with an e. I wont say his name. They dont answer the phone and leave you on the line forever and love to play the game "im sorry you must have been disconnected" . I had cancer and I handed this man 4 scripts and he says, in a very loud voice, "what? this is all for one person, well this wont be done till sometime tomorrow" in a nasty voice. This is everytime I go there. My husband had the same experience with them. Its this tech. in particular that is the whole problem as far as I see. He sets a tone for all of them to treat people with extreme disrespect. Don't go here if you want a good pharmacy or even a mediocre pharmacy because you will be so sorry.

Very convenient. Pharmacy is always busy and staff is overworked. No complaints though. Store is somewhat pricey so I usually only buy on sale items. Staff is always very friendly and courteous.

Never been to a pharmacy as bad as this one! I've dealt with rite aid forever, and they all have a 15 min guarantee.... Except this one! I've waited over 10 hrs for one prescription for 30 pillls! And then they were very rude about that!

Worst pharmacy,always long wait time,drive thru is never open or it closes before displayed time they have shown, takes them forever to fill a script the Dr sent in hours before and it has to be spelled out to them to contact the Dr when meds aren't covered by insurance. And you have to call over and over again just to get someone to finally answer the phone.

They always seem to forget to mix, my kids medicines and I have to drive back to the store to have it mixed. Also, I looked on website to see the time it opens and the website and the actual store have 2 different times. I wasted my time and gas going to the store that messed up my daughters medicine.
