I called multiple places to bring my cat, and everywhere was booked or didn't answer. I was getting a little frustrated because my cat was getting hair balls and cat hair was everywhere. I googled sites nearbyI got in touch with the owner of the Polish pets. She is Very friendly and down to earth, she was able to get my cat in and was so informative and helpful and since I left her shop, my home is free of fur and my cat is no longer choking on cat hair. I will definitely be back. I also got my cat groomed and cutThe price was $80I added before and after pictures!

Okay so my pup has been coming here for about 7 months. I love they way they groom him just the way I like! He always looks and smells so good when I pick him up. They’re so professional, calm & fast. They handle Bentley with so much care and this is the only place he’ll go for his grooming!

I can’t even begin tell you how great the mother and daughter team at Polished Pets is. Left high and dry because I was never informed of Petco’s silly 24 hour vaccination policy the night before by their cat groomer, and stuck with two little dirt balls in cat carriers, I called Polished Pets. After taking the time to ask if my brother-in-law’s boys had no fleas (if so, special setup would have been required), Polished Pets allowed me to drop them off for a shampoo and grooming. They kept them all day out of necessity - kitty stress. After a double shampooing, I picked the boys up and they looked and smelled great. The team recognized that a little shaving had to happen due to matting and even took the time to wipe out the inside of cat carriers due to a minor soiling. The Polished Pets team was sympathetic to the boys’ rehoming situation and provided excellent customer service. Almost two weeks later, Yuki and Simone still smell great, have shiny coats, are much happier and grooming themselves as expected up there in their special kitty apartment in our home. I cannot express to you how much you need to support this local small business owner for all of your pet grooming needs.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about the experience we just had at polished pets. My cats hair is long and gets matted but we haven’t been able to get him an appointment at the groomer he has gone to his whole life. I walked in yesterday just by chance to see if they groom cats and they replied that they do and that we could bring him in the following day! That was such a relief because i was afraid the mats were making him uncomfortable and I didn’t want him to be in pain. We brought him in and she groomed him on the spot. She did exactly what we asked of her and more. She was kind, prompt and extremely knowledgeable. She taught me some things about how to maintain his coat between grooms so it doesn’t get matted again. At the end when she gave me the price I was shocked at how affordable it was. I was prepared to spend a lot more. I hope to return to her and when I do I’ll always be confident that my babies are in good hands ❤️

Always a great experience. She groomed my rescue pomeranian Polar Bear. He had a few issues but she is honest and fair. She does great work very patient and reasonable prices. I love coming here. She definitely makes dogs trust her. I highly recommend Polished Pets.

This grooming experience was such a breath of fresh air. The owner communicated with me, she called during the cut to give updates since my dog takes a while. She gave me a breakdown of observations and she told me how his behavior was. So very pleased.

My dog was groomed at “Polished Pets” for the first time a couple months ago, I must say that the groomer/owner did a wonderful job. She was thorough and knowledgeable in her work and did everything she said she would do and did it well and added bows to my dog’s ears as a special touch 🐶 The owner does have a firey personality, so it could be interpreted as negative but nothing to be alarmed about. The overall experience was positive and I look forward to supporting again and again.

Won't take dogs with any sort of fear aggression. Experienced groomers have no problem with this type of dog, but the fact that she immediately assumed he needed a muzzle and has a "if the dog bites he gets sent home" policy shows me that she doesn't have as much experience as any of the groomers I've been to in NYC. If your dog has behavioral problems, don't bother coming here.

The owner is rude and aggressive. As soon as we walked in, she yelled at me and my daughter stating only 1 person is allowed at the counter because of covid. She has a combative demeanor. Dog looked ok. His hair was not cut low enough.

First time at this establishment and the service on my dog was excellent. I was very pleased at how well his hair was cut, smelled wonderful, and prices were much cheaper than PetSmart and service was excellent. Will return for continued grooming on my dog.

I brought my dog in on Saturday at 11:00 and was told he would be done by 1:00, he was not done until 5:00. I can almost deal with that as I had been taken him to Petco and sometimes they keep him all day....but...I went to get him and from a distance he looked good..when i got home..I noticed a total bald spot on his chest.his butt has bald batches and the hair around it all uneven..it's a botched job..his legs the same thing..not sure what she was going for....total bald spots...his hair is so uneven...i can still see clipper marks!!!I wasn't going to call Lisa...as realistically what could she do..it's such a botched job..there is no way to fix unless she cut him down to his bare skin!! who does that...my dog is a carin terrier!...The more I look at my dog..the more upset i get...I ended up calling her and leaving her a voicemail..again...nothing she can do..she surely isn't going to refund me..which would be the fair thing to do...I'm really not exaggerating on how bad my lil guy looks...I absolutely will not be returning customer...I will go back to Petco and paid 20.00...totally worth it..
