I've gotten beautiful trays from Giant before. This tray was horrible. The finger sandwiches were just thrown in the tray with only 13 toothpicks. The rest of the sandwiches, a few, were cut in half. I was really embarrassed.

Giant is a great grocery store to shop at. The staff are always willing to help. The only problem I have is that Giant only has 1 cashier working the register and the line gets backed up with no back up for the cashier. I self checked out $331 worth of groceries because the wait line was too long. I completed self checking out in 10 minutes.

I've frequently shopped here, but not going back again. I've had enough.Employees constantly block the entire aisle while chatting then get angry when you ask to get through, employees will move you out of the way while trying to find something on the shelf so they can stock something instead, and the self-checked out is the most tedious, least-intuitive system I have ever used. I'm very tech savvy - and yet somehow, we always need staff "assistance" every single time because the self-checkout decides we moved something or didn't bag something.Ordering online has been a hassle as well. I have been interrogated by employees for my purchases (of candy, mind you - not cough syrup or something), had to wait nearly 45 minutes because they "didn't see the alert" that I had arrived, randomly choose to replace products from my list with other, non-related items and with zero ability to approve or reject the substitutions...There's more. There's a LOT more.So now after trying to shop on Saturday morning, and being forced out of the way by employees, having to struggle to get through the aisles due to palettes and people carrying on with hour-long conversations while blocking the way, I decided I'm done. I am tired of the poor shopping experience. Other cheaper places are close by and I strongly recommend avoiding Giant and going elsewhere.0/5, do NOT shop at Giant.

Go to return something with out a receipt. They tell you we can't take it back . But on website says don't need a receipt. They will give you a store card anything under 25 dollars. Even corporate told me on the phone not there giant is giant it's the Company policy.

Me and my fiancee do all our shopping here.I have no complaints about anything at this Giant.Great customer service and ita always clean and organized.

This place is great! It has good stuff to fit some of your needs... The downside about it is, the place is kinda dirty, and people just leave stuff around from what it seems (like in the pictures). I'm kind of disappointed, but overall I would say it's pretty good.

I used to like this giant but now I’m getting tired of their nonsense. Multiple times I’ve found expired food on their shelves. Now today I found the overpriced tortillas I bought have an expiration date prior todays date!! This happens too often here. Food is too expensive to play around like this. It’s too far to drive to return it, so I have to take the loss.I was treated poorly by an “employee” for being Muslim. She made a comment about my clothing and was just a terribly rude person all around. I felt uncomfortable and harassed and will never return to this location again and will let other Muslims at the mosque and in the area know what goes on here. Why should we spend our money here just to be treated like garbage?! No thank you!

Slightly overpriced grocery store, but nothing out of the ordinary. They do have nice sales once in a while.Update: please note that the staff is kinda "hood", management won't come out to help shoppers with anything, and they do NOT have non-dairy cheese. Large selection of cheese, none are Lactose-free. And if they DID have it, I couldn't find it. I tried to get some help but the store manager didn't bother coming out to even TRY (they just sent the clerk back with "If it's not in the cheese aisle, we don't have it") 😒 Maybe I'm kinda "spoiled" by good customer service at places like Whole Foods, but I expected slightly more effort from this overpriced grocery store known as Giant.Oh well, I'm gonna throw my money at Trader Joe's and get my Lactose-free cheese slices!

The Giant food store where I shop leaves a lot to be desired as far as customer service and pricing. The only reason I'm giving it two Stars instead of one is because the cashier at the checkout line was very pleasant.

I explained to the manager that it looks like false advertisements on the apples and pineapples.The apples are per pound but the sign looks as if they were$0.99 a bag.The pineapples says $1.00 but when I was at the register it rang in at $1.27.The manager and cashier acted as if it was not an issue at all and asked if they should void them.

I was only going to purchase two items and it took me 30/35mins smh The seafood department was empty (no employees)I finally saw someone that worked there walking bye as I yelled excuse me Three loud times she continued to ignored me so I kindly caught up with her grabbed the cart and asked her did she hear me trying to get her attention and she turned around I saw that she had on Headphones smh Do better

Since when did such a nice store turn in to somethings, so disgusting and gross not one person in here knows what they’re talking about not one worker can direct you to anything you’re seeking they now let underage kids vape in the beer section where they sell beer now overall attitude of all the workers here is super poor even the security guards stare at you with a look up discussed overall turn off for the whole store on top of the fact that they lock both doors now by 845, 9 o’clock to deter customer so they can hang out for an extra hour and do absolutely nothing

I shop here, but reluctantly. It boggles my mind how poorly run this particular store is. While the Havertown Giant is clean and well staffed (and no longer has plastic bag detritus yay!), this one never has enough checkout lines open, and the cashiers are incredibly slow. The self-checkout always has a line, and often multiple stations are broken. The customer service desk is a bunch of employees ignoring customers and chatting amongst themselves. It feels like corporate has decided that this is the poor Giant and doesn't deserve any resources or management.That said, I still come here for products I can't get from Philly FoodWorks or Aldi because it's within walking distance. The location is probably the only thing that's keeping this store open. It's certainly not the management.

Not a good selection of cakes. I dont know who's decorating them but they were alllll ugly on friday. I got one okay looking cake for my sons birthday on Saturday but it was alot of purple in it. Then the girl didn't even follow the writing directions. Sorry but this isn't the first time.

Always stocked, a few really friendly staff members there. My partner and I do early shopping for groceries and the woman who stocks the meats is always so welcoming and helpful. Can't imagine my Saturday mornings without seeing her there!!

A huge giant store with wide aisles. Wide selection of produce and other regular grocery items. They have a lot more items in stock unlike my local Giant food store in Wynnewood, Pa. If this store wasnt as far I would definitely shop more often here. There is Giant gas station next to the store as well, which is a plus. I took a point off as when I was putting my groceries bags into my car trunk, I was followed by a young fellow in his mid 20s and approached to help him as his car broke down and he needed to purchase anti freeze. He kept following me till my front seat and I felt very uncomfotable upon his insistence. I did call later to let store manager know about this incident. Also same time a group of 3 boys and an elderly gentleman were having verbal altercation. After witnessing all this I felt uneasy and not sure if its common to this neighborhood.

I purchased their brand of OJ and it's really good. This is one of my favorite Grocery stores to shop when in Center City. Vegetables and Fruit always FRESH. Looking for Sushi...they have it, as well Alcohol section and you can get a mix drink freshly made MUST BE 21 Q/ PROPER I.D.
