First off they make you check out yourself last time I checked I never received my benefits package or my vacation and personal time . If your going to cut the amount of employees in your store maybe just maybe you should pass some of that savings on to the consumer that is doing all the work.I have bought seafood from this store in the past but won't be buying it again it just doesn't look fresh in my opinion. If you happen to walk by the deli there is I self serve bar with stuff on it that looks dry and alittle old I won't be buying that either. I guess I'm not the only one who thinks this my pictures and videos are around 4 pm.

Forget about customer service at this location as the night manager (Rob) will not do anything to help you! I rarely go to Weis Markets and now I know why. I had a sizeable order $439.46 and of course there was only one check out isle open. Plenty of self service check outs - only one full service! When I went to the register there were two customers in front of me. I could see that the person running the register (special needs) was struggling with the entire procedure which quickly made the line even longer. I was patient at first. After struggling with the customers in front of me, I began unloading my full cart on the conveyor belt. Having emptied most of my cart, Ty decides to open the register next to me. Everyone behind me went to the other register and were promptly checked out and on their way.At first I patiently stood by and watched the employee struggle with the register. After a while (I should have timed how long it took), Rob the night manager walked by and I stopped him and explained my frustration with the check out process and asked if he could have another employee assist with this transaction. Rob said something to the employee and walked away. I thought, OK he is going to get assistance for this special needs employee. No one came to help!! The entire check out process was painful to watch as the employee put one item in each plastic bag. I advised him that he can put more than one item in each bag so I don't have so many plastic bags. He said this is the way he has to do it. Other employees were in the area not busy and watched as I was clearly getting upset with the checkout process!Once I finally checked out I went to the Customer Service counter and of course no one was there. I stood there for a few minutes and had to find the employee that was supposed to be manning that station. I requested that he call the night manager so I could speak with him about my unpleasant experience.Rob, the night manager, came over and I advised him that he saw how this employee was struggling and the fact that he did not assist him or have another employee assist spoke volumes for him being a manager or lack thereof!!! Rob advised me this was his first day as manager (should be his last) and that this was a special needs employee. I advised I understand that but they should not be running the register especially when a customer has a sizeable order to check out. Instead of Rob being a real manager and addressing/fixing the problem, he totally ignored it and let a customer have a horrible shopping experience!! Rob did not seem to care that my experience was horrible and the fact that I will never go back to this location again!! So much for customer service! And then the cherry on top of the cake was when I got home to unpack my items. At the deli counter I requested two pounds of the peppercorn turkey lunch meat. Instead I received two pounds of peppercorn "ham"!! UGH!!!I was so tempted to take all of my items back and return them and get my money back! Needless to say, I would not recommend shopping here! Save yourself the unpleasant experience and go to one of the many other grocery stores in the area who will be more than happy for your business!!

I typically have to shop here, only because it's the most local choice for a market...however there are times I just wish this place were a Giant/Aldi or other grocery store. The prices are above normal for no reason, but they have the stuff you'll need day-to-day. It's literally just average on all fronts from selection to friendliness.

Grocery Store it is Okay. Plenty of selection but a lack of cashiers. Also, I feel the lightening of the store is not well distributed which lacks positivity in the store.

It’s a good place for groceries in North wales and Lansdale. It even has beer and wine. I like chicken and meat here.

It's my "go-to" grocery store (even on vacation). Great variety of products, well labeled and clean aisles. Courteous employees. Nice produce.

My emergency go to grocery store. It’s a bit odd, this grocery store has items that some bigger grocery chains doesn’t carry. For example they have a very large variety of hot sauces and pickles than the Giant store.Floor layout is okay. It’s a bit tight around the front entrance. The bakery and flower shop display has this area.Selection of items are almost about the same to Giant.Location is okay, entering the shopping center from the East is okay. Although exiting the location is really horrible due to the Valley Forge Rd traffic turning either way.Staff is friendly. There’s ample self checkout spots during peak hours. There is limited lanes open if you want staff checkout.Alcohol shop is good. Selection is good for basic wine or beer.

I was about to give them 2 stars because I called customer service to see if they sell durags and no one answered the phone. I'll give this store an extra star because they sell beer. I don't drink, but it's still cool that they sell it. Something kind of messed up happened to my fiance there once before but she can't remember so I won't put it in this review. She can write her own. 3 stars it is.

My first choice for a local grocery market. Prices are in line with the big name chain stores. Location, location, location!

This store actually added shelves during COVID making it feel like you're going through a cattle shoot, and yet somehow the selection is terrible. This is the closest supermarket to my house, but I often find myself bypassing it all together in order to get my groceries in one trip at one store rather than going from place to place.

Nice and neat store! Have been shopping here for over 20 years and it has only gotten better. Love that they pay attention to the expiry dates of both perishables and non-perishables alike. The prices are better compared to other grocery chains in the area. Parking is copious and the staff is always well-mannered - haven't seen a gruffy or tired person at the counters. The self-checkout counters can do with a bit more attention with the bags pre-opened after every checkout. Our most visited American grocery chain in the area!

Do I shop here because they are the closest grocery to my house? Yes. Do they have everything I am looking for to feed my family? Also yes. I really to like the selection of food options here, the easy of getting in and out with small trips via the self check-out options, and the availability of beer and wine in their alcohol section. The only constructive feedback I could give: it'd be nice if I didn't have to go through separate registers for alcoholic drinks and groceries (I know there are laws that limit this, but Wegmans seems to have found a way around this); and the register software occasionally seems to have issues with my reusable bags and also can get hung up when doing self-checkout on larger loads of groceries. The staff is always handy when such issues arise, but it'd be nice if they didn't have to be.

I work as a personal shopper and go here at least 10 times a week to shop for my clients. Nice organized store. 2 issues I’d like to adress1. The bread isle and bakery should be next to each other2. Since the store removed some cashiers installed more self checkout elderly and inexperienced customers are having a hard time figuring out how to use them. Specially if they have coupons.

My 5 star review is for Vu in the meat department. He is the kindest, most helpful gentleman I’ve ever met. In addition to providing helpful preparation hints for various cuts of meats, he has been honoring our yearly Thanksgiving request to order a large fresh turkey and remove the dark meat, leaving us with a huge turkey breast, enough to feed our group. No one likes the dark meat, so it would go to waste and we would otherwise have to prepare 2 separate turkey breasts. Thank you for all you do Vu! You are greatly appreciated!!

Melissa in the bakery department exceeded my expectations. She deserves 20 stars! She did a random request for me in minutes and it turned out perfectly! She paid attention to detail and was so so kind and made the experience the best I could’ve asked for. Thank you Melissa!! 💙

I worked here as a teen and it was mismanaged at the time. Their stuff is on the cheaper end and I do see the value in that. Personally I don't like the set up in comparison to other grocery stores, but it has the basics you'd need to stock up on.

Really disliking the push for self check out. No actual employees at the registers on Sunday afternoons. Very few young employees smile or even say hello during check out. Rarely make eye contact. Several times I've seen young cashiers check their phones while scanning my items.

Weis has a great selection, lots of variety and nice seasonal items. The staff is kind and helpful. Some of the staff are incredibly slow but trying. I do wish they would train new cashiers on bagging...today I had to ask 3 times for her to keep the cold stuff together (just like I had it grouped on the belt) maybe its just me but I prefer all 6 bags of cheese in the same bag...same goes for my veggies - please dont put my bananas with cans or my lettuce with pasta boxes or 1 bag of cheese with chips, 1 with cereal, and 1 with cans

Always helpful staff so far and I've been going there for groceries fairly regularly for the last 6 years. Decent selection of organic and non-GMO foods, although I'd prefer they add more and hope they consider adding another isle.

Some stuff is pretty expensive there, but the employees were really nice. They were willing to help us with a cake that we just bought.

Prices are sky-high, close to Whole Foods levels. Restrooms are atrocious and difficult to find, with one of the toilets ALMOST ALWAYS having visible solid waste inside due to a plumbing issue with the toilet itself, which is the first time I've seen a home-style tanked toilet in a public business that gets so much traffic. My advice would be to build a real restroom with more than two toilets with high-pressure flushing and more than two urinals.Turnover for workers is as bad as it's ever been, none of us have actually received our sign-on bonuses, at least out of the people I spoke with. Everything about the store is as done as cheaply as possible, the workers are incredibly lazy, and management, of course, is oblivious.Weis will be the first of many groceries to fall to Amazon and they will actually deserve it.

It's a okay store, specials are really nice.Clean store ,registers are funky, there setup for cashier to bag and I don't use those plastic bags so there's no continously belt to bagger at end. They do have wine n beer tho.

Self check out needs work. And why do you put your 🐌 worker in the only that was opened. You are really making shopping at your store a bad experience. Please work on this 🙏.

Absolutely horrible customer service, and grotesque mistreatment of former employees. Avoiding like the plague, along with all other Weiss locations.

Rude employees. I was at self-checkout with my light blinking for assistance because grapes would not scan. No one came to help. Listened to "if your finished scanning, please pay" about 7 times. Two employees walked right past my flashing light. I was told...Not my department. No offer to get someone to help, just letting me know they have very little people skills in their toolbox.I've been very happy with Giant, Acme & Wegmans.I shop for my mom who lives at Brittany Pointe Estates and have heard many complaints about Weis. It shocked me to hear they would not accept return of expired item they sold "because its up to the customer to check dates!!"Refusal to accept return of an item likely valued at less than $5 and to have that stupid management decision spread like wildfire at a 500 person community 1/2 mile away...incompetence is evident.

Not a bad little supermarket. They sell beer too, and the selection isn't terrible. If you're really into beer, this might not be the best place to go, but you can find some hidden gems sometimes. Just make sure you check dates. Also, the people in the beer section are just employees, not beer folk. Still a decent place to check out if you want to look for beer. Oh, and I guess food.

The Lansdale store is showing its age, but not a bad place to shop. The vast majority of teenage kids working the checkout registers act as if they would rather be getting a root canal. "But dad, I don't want to work a part time job!"
