It’s refreshing to find a company that truly values its customer base. Within moments after walking into this Fully Stocked Ace Hardware I was greeted and ask if they could help me with finding something. I had initially visited this out of my area store returning from a road trip. That was several years ago. I return to this particular store for the exceptionally unreal customer support. Friendly and helpful at every visit. I bought storage bins that were on sale here savings of $3 per container. I bought 10 which were all of them in store. John took my information down and ordered 10 more for me at the sale price. Then I was called a week later stating my order had come in and I could pick them up whenever. You want excellent customer service, and very competitive prices, stop at this Ace Hardware store.

Don’t come to this store unless you want to be racially profiled and judge for your skin. This is my siblings first and last visit to this disgraceful store. I was stock when they called me in tears and anger to tell me how they were treated and followed around the store by an employee who then called his boss when they went to the front of the store acting as if they were criminals. Never shop here !

I would give it 5 stars but that's premature since I've only been there once. The 4 stars are for having an item that is hard to find, not in this area, and expensive to purchase from Amazon. They had it, they held it for me and I'm a happy camper!

Absolutely horrible customer service from the gentleman in the back checking inventory. The lady I spoke with up front was wonderful and informed me that 4 of my requested items are available and they could hold them for pickup. My call was transferred to spaced-out & inconsiderate guy in the back department. He put me on hold numerous times, and when I read him the item number for the 2nd time, he put me on hold halfway through me reading the 7 digit #, and he spent more time looking for the wrong item (a 5 digit number since he hung up before the last 2). Once he finally found the item, after 20 minutes on the phone, he said "we have 4." I kindly asked if he could hold the items at the front of the store because they are heavy, to which he then asked for my full name and address!!!! I did not give him my address however I am in awe a pickup from any store would require such sensitive information requested by the rudest employee.I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

UPDATE 12/17/22:Visited Lansdale, Pa store again and was lucky enough to see Diane working today. She immediately helped me fulfill a paint order and offered excellent guidance, advice and support! She not only knows paint, but the entire store! This is quite impressive. It can be very overwhelming to enter a hardware store, but Diane makes it pleasant and easy!! I wish there were more people like her! Can’t thank Diane enough for a top-notch experience! Will definitely shop there again because of her!Shout out to Diane in the painting department! Visited several times and she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable with color selection. I alerted John the manager as well but please pass this along to Diane. Thanks for great service Diane!!!

This ACE Hardware store is a bit outdated but still carries a lot of necessary items.I went there today to get exterior paint. I was excited when I saw that they are carrying The Magnolia Paint. Grab the color I found and was informed that their paint shaker was broken.The gentleman who was trying to help me tried hard to explain why this happened. I understand but the store should’ve posted this info anywhere that the customers would see.Either way, the staff was friendly and professional.I found what I needed and left. They have a lot of good supplies.This is my store for quick pick and go.

Try to support a local business, but they don't make it easy. I'm fixing a lamp and needed wire. It's self-serve, so I pulled out what I thought I needed. They have paper to write down the stock number, but no pen. There's no way to measure how much you take either. I asked a clerk and she said that the tiles are one foot long. How is the customer supposed to know that? When I mentioned it to the clerk, she didn't seem to care.

April 2022 Update:Fisher's Ace has consistently carried, in-stock, everything I have needed. This is truly one of those unique gems (including their resident 'shop cat') that is very welcome especially after one has visited two 'home improvement' stores with no luck. The staff are great, and it just feels like an 'old-fashioned' hardware store!Everything you could want from a "traditional" hardware store. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and most items are conveniently in stock. So if you just need a couple of hardware items, and unless you want your kitchen completely renovated, this is the place!

I love this place. It's so well organized that I almost always find what I need right away and when I don't there's a friendly Ace employee that asks me if I need help. The layout is very conducive to browsing. Everytime I shop at Ace I buy more stuff than I originally intended on getting. A much better experience than the other home improvement stores with sky high ceilings.

I love Ace Hardware! The employees are friendly and helpful. Recently I learned of their special gem that can fix anything. His name is Bill. He's fixed my water pressure and chainsaw.I appreciate how he takes the time to explain what's going on and how he fixed it. He's now my fix-it guy!

Went there today to buy some light bulbs and use the discount cards I received. Darlene, greeted me in the aisle and asked if I needed assistance. She not only took me to the bulbs, explained the difference between regular and LED, bent down and got the bulbs off the shelf for me, got me a basket, but THEN told me about bulbs they had that were offered with a huge discount from PECO. Long story short, I ended up purchasing multiple light bulbs and saved about $60!Outstanding service. Much better than what the big box stores offer.

I used to have terrible experience, here. There was one gentleman who sometimes made me turn around and walk out.Now? Great experiences. Not enough staff, but the one guy retired or got fired, so I'll deal with lines!!! Staff is incredibly patient.

Nice looking store, good brands. I’ve had two experiences here, both not good regarding service. Most recently I called ahead (during a snow storm) to ask if they had bags of road salt. The man answered emphatically “yea, lots”. When I arrived there was only the small 1lb hand shaker sizes. That defeated the purpose of calling ahead. I’ll try back in a few years.
