Will not take aggressive dogs. Waited until days before I leave for work to tell me they cannot take my cane corso. I’ve never had a boarders say they cannot handle aggressive dogs and to do this right before I leave is very unprofessional. Most professional boarders have the ability to have dogs without contact. They also do not answer their phones emails. Now I’m scrambling to find someone to take my dogs so I can leave for work. Very unprofessional and should not be operating a dog boarders if they cannot handle aggressive dogs. I have never had this issue before and to see Pennsylvania dog boarders be scared of dogs is shameful. Very very unprofessional,

Once again, Landenberg Pet Resort took wonderful care of our GSD, Ivy. Ivy requires twice daily eye drops ( she has Pannus) and a special diet ( chicken allergy). Stress tends to aggravate her eye condition so leaving her for an extended period could easily cause a setback. But, she obviously feels secure and loved at LPR as her eyes look wonderful ( no redness) and thanks to an awesome groom/bath/brushing, her coat shines with minimal shedding! It’s like Ivy’s been at a spa!

We love Landenberg Pet Resort!! Erin does a beautiful job grooming our Goldendoodle, which isn’t always an easy task! Not only is she patient and diligent to do the best job possible, she also educates us how we can best care for our pups coat in between grooming sessions.

My dog was very well cared for here! The only complaint I could have is, I think at the end of this week there he liked the people there more than me! It was a comfort that he was clearly very happy and well cared for during my trip! I will definitely use this place in the future.

Used them for the first time this past weekend and we were very happy with everything. Our dogs came home clean after their baths, and happy. Setting up our appointment was easy, Erin was very nice and helpful. We will definitely be boarding here again!

It’s the equivalent of dropping your dog off at the SPCA or any shelter. The dog is locked in an outdoor cage where they go to the bathroom not far from where they sleep. My dog came home and in the first day peed on the floor even though he was house trained prior to taking him there. Owner is not very friendly either. I don’t like giving bad reviews but feel bad for the dogs that come here.

We took our German Shepherd puppy for the first time on May 1st.of 2021 for grooming. Bob was very rude. He does not care for the dogs. He even damaged 4 toe nails in his back paws that never grew back. I do not like writing negative reviews and this is my first one.But I felt like it’s my responsibility to be honest and make people aware who loves their pet that this is not the right place if you really love your pet like your own baby. I hope Bob realizes pet are not just pets and really learn to care for them from the core of his heart.Do what you love to do, not just for business.Wish Bob reads this and makes positive changes…. Wish him all the best.

Great service. The kennels are clean and you can tell they care for the dogs. We even had our dogs bathed before they came home. They smelled so clean with soft fur. Best part.. the price was just right. I paid about a 3rd less than I did at my other day care.

We previously used LPR for many years while Bob was the owner, and will continuing to use LPR now that Tim & Erin have taken over the business. Our girls just had their first stay w/ Tim & Erin, and everything was great! Tim was incredibly kind when we dropped them off. He took time to greet all our girls and understand what each of them would need during their stay (medications, nail clips, etc.). When my husband picked them up from their stay, all three pups were so cheerful! It was obvious they were well cared for while we were away. We will continue to use LPR moving forward, and I would encourage anyone who is on the fence about using them due to new ownership to go for it. You'll be working with a wonderful group who will provide your pup(s) with love and care!

I have 2 pups and never had to board them because my parents would dog sit for us, so finding a boarding place that is going to treat our Fur babies like their own have been very difficult. We have taken our girls to a few different places but they would basically sit in a room with other dogs, no toys play time nothing for a week plus they allow/encourage the dogs to urinate and have bowel movements on the floor, tried it 1x and that was enough. Went for our meet & greet this past weekend and it went great! My girls took to Erin and Tim right away playing and wanting to give him kisses. Now I can go on vacation knowing my girls are going to be very well taken care of with playtime, walks and even maybe some playtime with their children, my girls would feel right at home playing with the kids I have 11 nieces and nephews they always play with. It is always a good sign when dogs were coming in like children excited to be there.I am beyond grateful that Landenburg Pet Resort was recommended to me! Thank you so much Erin and Tim.

So happy we found this place! We were driving 30+ minutes to board our dogs at a clean place with actual outdoor runs. Now we only have to drive 15 mins!The staff at Landenberg has been amazing the two trips we've kept our dogs there so far.

Great place to board your dogs! The owner Bob, really cares about his "guests." He goes the extra mile to make sure they are safe and happy. Showed tremendous concern for my 16 yo Lab and made sure she was well cared for.

The prices were excellent and the staff was friendly. However, it had rained the day before we picked up our 2 dogs, and when we picked them up, their bed and blanket was soaking wet! This means they must have slept in a wet bed all night. To make things worse, both of them ended up with a respiratory illness (cough and fever) that required a vet visit and antibiotics. Very disappointed by this.

Today was the first time my dogs visited the Landenberg Pet Resort for a nail trim. The people there were wonderful and took very good care of my nervous dogs. I will definitely be going back for future nail trims and grooming.

This is the first time I have every boarded any of my animals. I cried when I dropped him off. Bob was amazing. He assured me that oliver would be fine. He sent me a text the next morning letting me know how he was doing. When we picked up Oliver he was very happy. We also had Bob groom him before we picked him up. He looked so handsome and smelled so good. This is a gem of a place. You can tell that bob loves what he does. If I ever need to board him again this would be the place he would go. I loved this place but more important Oliver loved it. Bob deserves every star I gave him and more. Thanks Bob.

Bob did an AMAZING job of caring for our dogs this past weekend. Each dog required something different- whether medication or food. Bob took perfect care of them and even texted me in the morning of their first overnight to assure me the pups were “loving life.” I highly recommend his beautiful “resort” for pets. We will absolutely be using his services again. Thanks Bob!!

As a first time broader to say I was nervous about leaving my babies is an understatement! Bob was so understanding and sympathetic to my concerns. The dogs were well taken care of and their normal selves when we picked them up. Going forward there isn't another person I could imagine leaving my family with. 5 stars isn't a high enough rating for this kennel....10 stars all the way!!!

Bob and his staff are fantastic. They are the only people we trust to care for our boys when we are unable to take them with us. One of our dogs as bad separation anxiety, and they allow him to be kenneled with his brother. They are both excited when we pull into the resort because the staff is so welcoming as if they were their own pets. From a picky pet mom -this pet resort is cean, friendly & caring. A+++

For quality of care and value, this place is the best. I originally met Bob and his family many years ago when he was volunteering to coach Little League (before we even had a dog). When thunderstorms were approaching, it would sometimes be right in the middle of a very close game and he would leave to take care of the dogs. Since no body would have known, I didn't understand why he needed to go to comfort dogs when no body would have known. He explained to me that some of the dogs would be scared and he didn't want them to hurt themselves when they were staying at his kennel. To me, this shows a very high level of compassion and caring and now that we have used his services several times, I can see this to be true.. That is the Landenberg Pet Resort way!

Best care our 2 dogs have ever received. Both dogs have medical problems, but those problems were handled better than some of the area animal “hospitals”. Excellent stay for the dogs!
