Always a good experience. Helpful staff. Quick to answer questions. Yes; the products are pricey, but the staff is truly knowledgeable, offering suggestions and guidance. And ... I enjoy being part of their consumer club. Great deals each month and the opportunity to earn credits. Plus ... the caramels at the cash register are delicious. I treat myself to one at each visit.☺️

Great place to go to stock up on wild bird supplies. Wide selection of food, suet cakes, meal worms (dried or alive). All types of feeders, feeder prote tors, bird houses, bird baths, etc. Also great gift selection for the nature lover, or to treat yourself! Friendly staff, if you have questions they are happy to help. Bird food is sold in the 20lb bags. More manageable, faster stock rotation, fresher food. I've never had a bad bag. (riddled with worms or moths) Need help getting it to your car? They can do that for you as well.

Delightful shop with very kind and knowledgeable staff. They took the time to educate us on the best feeders and feed for our growing interest in feeding our wild feathered friends and squirrels. The shop is extremely clean and orderly. We were very impressed with the shop inventory of quality products and few if any “gimmicks”. They also offer a paid membership club that is quite a money saver. Most of all we were very impressed by the attitude of selling us the proper products for our present needs of beginners feeding wild birds the proper food. We learned a lot and feel very confident in our purchases. Yes, the shop has a mask rule. So do many other places. Wearing a mask was no issue. We have definitely found a terrific place to purchase our wild bird supplies. We look forward to our next visit to learn more.

What a wonderful surprise and experience to find this gem of a store in Lancaster! Mary was super helpful and patient in answering my questions and guiding me in my purchase today. I loved that she didn’t steer me to the most expensive feeder as a novice birder and gave me some good advice on how to begin. She also shared information about the nutritional value of their food and the services they provide. Definitely the place to go for local bird lovers!

Wild Birds Unlimited is a very unusual bird shop. It carries several different levels of bird seed among a shop filled with boxes and different ways of feeding your birds. Calendars notepads cards so many hundreds of items that you didn't even know they made. Worthy of your time to go in and amuse yourselves.You can spend a lot of money in there getting what you think you need or that you do need. Most everything comes with a lifetime guarantee which makes up for most of the price. The other things are so well made you can hardly argue the price. Their bird seeds are so far above others, they last longer than others, you can hardly argue their prices either. So the next time you're thinking about getting something for your backyard for your birds, you go visit their store and before you say no, think about what you're getting and the quality of it before you say no to yourself. I always enjoy going into Wild Birds. I've been a member since they opened, I consider Ed and Grace friends. The staff is friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. The highlight of my visits is always seeing Alex. He's a grey African parrot who loves raisins. I take him a box, he whistles a thank you as I'm leaving.

I used to love this store and would recommend them often, and was happy to pay more to support local and quality products. However, now I’ll be telling people to stay far away and support other businesses.They’ll up-sell you on anti-squirrel feed (which my birds won’t eat) and then won’t do anything about it when the product doesn’t work. Ive spent hundreds here and they refuse to exchange a bag of bird seed? Sad. Guess I’ll go elsewhere.

Great store for the wild bird enthusiast whether you seek them out or draw them in with feeders. A large variety or durable, functional feeders and a variety of seeds, mealworms and suets and butters. There is a good selection of books and guides for learning about our local birds. They do both curbside and delivery in addition to in store service. Very helpful, knowledgable staff.

Love them! Great and very helpful staff! Get the savings card!!! Yes, you pay for your savings card but if you are there just a few times it pays for itself. The seed cost more BUT it is worth it. No mess seed so 100% is used, we did the math and the no mess seed is cheaper in the long run.

Owner TOLD me I had to wear a mask if I wanted to shop. She didn't ask us to please wear a mask, she TOLD us we HAD to wear a mask. I guess they didn't get the memo from the CDC. It was in the 90's with 90 % humidity and the owners are standing in an empty store wearing masks! My mother in-law and I (both vaccinated thank you very much) turned about face and walked out. I will never do business there again. I don't support crazy.

Last Friday, I went on the free Owl Prowl with Dan - the ornithologist from Wild Birds Unlimited. It was very interesting and exciting. I'd never seen an owl in the wild. Dan used his skills to find an owl - realize owls are active when it is dark so it's no easy task to find and see owls. It took a while but we saw a 2 screech owls. I was thrilled. Thanks so much to Dan and Wild Birds Unlimited. It was a great experience.

For a few years, we have had an EcoClean Medium Seed Tube Feeder with a 12" Seed Tray (tray on the bottom) and a Super Weather Guard (dome on top). You can use the feeder without these optional parts. It helps a lot of birds will roost and feed during the rain rather frequently. Worth the extra investment! Occasionally, I supplement with peanut butter and fresh fruit in the tray. Normally purchase 10lb of Finch Blend birdseed.Have tried big box brands and in my not so humble thoughts, my little feathered friends prefer the WBU seed. WBU offers a daily savings club with a $25 sign-up worth it if you purchase a lot. Discounts and coupons. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. I highly recommend Wild Birds Unlimited. The only thing that needs work is the discount program could be integrated between locations but they can call and get your number from your home store.

Even though I like this place today's visit to this location was kind of strange. Strange because when I handed the cashier five 1 dollar bills she actually checked them as if they could be fake. I've never seen any cashier anywhere do this.
