One of the nicer Weis Markets in the area. Didn't know this one was here, but it was very convenient for where we were at to get some odds and ends needed for the kids.

Stopped in for a few quick goodies in early morning...As I walked through the door, I was greeted with a friendly hello and good morning from an associate.. Then turned the corner and another associate did the same thing... What the world? These employees seem happy and enjoy their jobs. Made the start of the day in the right direction. Thank you!

I stopped in for the first time as I was in the area and I should have just left. The store is so outdated and old. No produce available. All the shelves were bare, the meat all had different colors and stages of expiration. This store is the worst of the chain!

I had personal items stolen from inside this store from inside of their mobility scooter basket. They have the incident on video and they have the womans cc info. They are hindering an investigation by refusing to release video. They also saw the woman take the items (she originally asked them about the items sitting in the cart)They then let her walk out knowing she was taking something that didnt belong to her. Now I have to pursue litigation against weis to get the information needed to charge the woman and to recoup the approximately 1000.00 I am out. Beware. If anything happens to you inside this store. It's disgusting they refuse to cooperate with the police. No doubt if it was their items, they would have given the police video and cc info that day.

I had a wonderful experience there it felt like the Neighborhood Grocery Store with Pharmacy inside of it and everybody just seems so happy to be working there and to help you if you needed anything or just to say hello

I have shopped at Weis for over 40 years. Since the pandemic, I have used online shopping. Today Weis has made that option unavailable for ALL of the items that normally shop for. They do not even have the basics such as eggs and bread! I am on a fixed income and my groceries are the highest item in my budget, spending about 25% of my total income just on food. I depended on them and now I don't have that option. I doubt that I will ever shop there again.

the food is always bad/expired (especially the fruit) and they have a terrible selection all around but mostly the healthcare/toiletries/beauty section is always understocked or they just have nothing. go to Wegmans or even Giant instead , they have a much better variety

I waited for 10 minutes at the deli and the person working, did acknowledge me, but kept putting stickers on things and never waited on me. With no other customers, I could have been waited on, and they could have gone back to their stickets.

Not as busy as some of the other grocery stores in the area and still have quite a good selection despite that. Occasionally they will not have some more specific ingredients/brands, but they definately carry the staples for normal at home cooking, baking and quick pickup items. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Would recommend!

I go here to pick up lunch. Place is clean and well organized. Selection is great with the exception for lunch, of course. Still its really close, they have sushi, some wraps and sammys if your looking for lunch. Otherwise, pickings are slim...for lunch anyway, AMIRIGHT.

For picking up one or two items maybe okay. But actually still go grocery shopping with larger orders. They don't employee cashiers during the day. Last 3 times I went. In order to ring up my items at self check out I have to put my groceries everywhere. This will probably be my last time here. BJs brings my groceries to my car for free. Definitely worth the extra drive then the headache here.

I went to Weis yesterday and followed the CDC standards for fully vaccinated people.I was glad not to have to put on a mask.I have been fully vaccinated since March and have waited until the CDC said I could take off my mask in public and I don't have to social distance.I was glad not to have to argue with anyone as no one said anything to me.So I went about minding my business and getting what I needed. I was having a hard time finding something.I asked the 1st person that I saw who worked there, a nice woman named Judy,if she worked in the meat department. She said no but what was I trying to find? She put me in touch with another kind soul,Will, who helped me get what I needed.I left the store with a smile on my face These 2 people are an asset to your store. 😊

It's nice. Typical Weis prices. It is usually not very crowded as it is somewhat small by today's standards as supermarkets go, but they have nearly anything you could need, food wise. One unfortunate exception is the lack of a full fresh seafood section due to space limitations. They do however have frozen fish and such.

UPDATE August 2023:Last year, I had an argument with one of the old staff that should have retired or been fired 10-15 years ago. The result was that I never go there. I choose to drive 5min further to the Fruitville Pike store which is larger and better stocked. Also, I shop at Giant, Oregon Dairy and Walmart more regularly than I did in the past. I avoid this store as much as possible.***********Original Review:I shop here all the time because of habit, I pass it daily, and it is adequate. BUT, the store was formerly a private business called ERB's. The quality of service began to drop as soon as WEIS bought the property. A big plunge in service has occurred over the years since the ERB's name was removed and the last of the former ERB staff have retire. No one now knows the inventory. They are reluctant to assist. Sometimes seem annoyed about providing rain checks, etc. I basically just pick-up my stuff and expect nothing (including stocked shelfs) from the staff. It is sad how the place has changed.

I have come to love this store especially during Covid 19 coming to town. The store always has everything I need ( except seafood), employees are always very nice, store is always clean and well stocked. They had the same difficulties stocking some items as every other grocery store....but it was a pleasure shopping there. Thanks East Pete Weis Market!!

Unfortunately I am not a fan of this store and quite honestly i avoid it at all costs. I always feel they don't have adequate amounts of inventory and there staff is quite rude. Last night i was there and came to the checkout and put all of my items up and the girl literally stood there and continued to play on her phone and pay me no mind at all then finished whatever she was doing in it and looked up and smiled and said "Oh hi" and then proceeded to rush through my order to get to her friend/co worker who was behind me. Their horrible cashier's never cease to amaze me anytime i go in. However the convenience of where the store is located is sometimes a help for last minute items on the way home.

Always is crowded with very narrow isles. Lots of free standing displays also. The prices are not exceptional so I am not motivated to go to this store. I would rather drive a few extra minutes and go to giant. Better organic and healthy food options. Weis produce is also not as fresh. If they offered better prices I might sacrifice and go there but ow I will only just grab a forgotten item to save time.

Typical weis but no real seafood department and no butcher counter. Never had any complaints until now- if you want to receive your entire pick up order then you should go elsewhere. We had several items missing from our orders with no notifications to indicate we wouldn’t be receiving them, and when I called the first time I received a very sarcastic “Im SooOoo sorry.” and thinking the first time was a fluke we tried again with the same results, except when I spoke to the manager he was excited and thanked me for “being able to pass the feedback on to the higher ups.” So yeah.

The prices great, the store clean, the associates respectful EXCEPT some rude lady Ann who shouldn't hold a position of management of she doesn't know how to assist customers

I'll make this one serious, short and sweet...... this store has really gone downhill. Some of it is lack of caring, some of it is employees attitudes. There are a few really good ones there, but the bad apples outshadow them unfortunately.

I picked up a birthday cake for a friend, and the edible decoration on top was in 3 pieces and didn't look good at all. An item rang up at the wrong price and the cashier got upset with me when I told her about it. I didn't purchase the item because the cashier told me " it is what it rang up for". When I told her it wasn't right a 2nd time I was told that she couldn't do anything about it.

I've been shopping here for years and it has been a nice store til recently. Every time I go in now the deli counter is closed. The pre package stuff is just about gone. I questioned management about it today and he said the guy that runs it doesnt want to open it. Something needs to be done about that. Bad customer service.

Prices are a little high. They are a smaller version of the weis chain. The main reason I give it a low score of two stars is because the manager is not friendly. On more than one occasion I went to the customer service desk and she just stood there talking to another employee - shooting the breeze - and completely ignored me. I finally went to a cashier, who was friendly and able to help me, even though it required her to leave her checkout line and...go figure...go to the customer service desk, where I started out in the first place. All I wanted was to buy a book of stamps! The manager is in the wrong line of work because she is definitely not a people person. Every time I have seen her and said hi to her, she completely ignored me.

A wonderful place! Great employees...very helpful! Once the store remodeling is complete (mid July 2017) it will be even better! (I now work there, so this isn't an impartial review.) 😉

The great thing about this store is that it's never crowded. It's also a good place to find toilet paper and paper towels during the pandemic. Full service with a nice pharmacist.

Walked out. Likely the last time I come here. Scanners dont work on self-checkout almost every time. The scales think there is extra stuff in the baggage area when there is not. There was a modest rush on and associates were just moping around.

This Weis has great hours as it is often open until 11pm. The employees are nice. The only downside is that Weis is a little more expensive than places like Walmart of Kmart.
