Such a wonderful first experience with the girls at Lancaster Pet Grooming! They were very patient, kind, and gentle with my nervous pup. They took such great care of him and were very professional and informative! He came out of the appointment looking, smelling, and feeling better than ever. On top of that, it is probably the cutest/cleanest grooming shop I’ve ever seen! Can’t thank them enough for a wonderful experience. We plan to be regular customers here :)

If I could give Alisa 10 stars I would! Alisa went above and beyond for my pup. I have had a really hard time trying to find the right groomer for my dog since she’s a rare breed - Lagotto Romagnolo. (Past groomers have really butchered my pup 😭) Alisa was very upfront and honest with me about never grooming a Lagotto Romagnolo before. But unlike other groomers Alisa took this chance as a learning experience. I called her on a Saturday and by that Tuesday it was time for the appointment. Instead of her going into it blindly (like past groomers who had 2 months in advance notice) Alisa went straight to researching about this breed before the appointment. She read through her show dog books, watched tutorials and researched the heck out of this breed. She set aside extra time for a consultation so we could go over everything (which was amazing since I’ve always felt rushed at past groomers). Previously, I felt like they didn’t care what I had to say, they just wanted to get her in and out as quick as possible. Alisa was very different. She was thorough and didn’t rush the process at all. We talked it out, I expressed my concerns and she listened. She thoroughly explained exactly how she would cut her hair and what tools she would use (with a barbering background that meant everything to me so I could visualize it). I started feeling less and less nervous about the appointment and started feeling excited for the results. In the past I have always dreaded picking my pup up after they were done because she was always butchered, but Alisa gave me the confidence that this was going to work out perfectly…AND let me tell you IT DID! I couldn’t be happier with the cut she did!! & let’s not forget about how patient and loving Alisa is with dogs. My dog is scared of EVERYTHING & super skittish and she warmed right up to Alisa. Overall, I am more than pleased with Alisa & the experience she gave me and my pup. I am happy to drive an hour one way because I know I’m going to get the best service at Lancaster Pet Grooming. I will recommend Alisa over and over again. Alisa is so so so nice and truly has a passion for grooming. Don’t hesitate to book, just do it!

Very happy to have found LPG, they are my new favorite spot to take my small dog. I like that they keep notes on exactly what they do each time, listen to my preferences for cut/shampoo type/etc. Great grooming at a very fair price, and super easy to book online. I would definitely recommend to anyone in search of a new groomer.

Alisa provided excellent care to my mixed breed dog, Betty. She was able to get Betty in quickly for a great brush out, santiary trim, and nail grinding. LPG is reasonably priced and well-located. I'm so glad Alisa is in town; we'll be back!

Took our Samoyed here for the first time today. Alisa did an incredible job with her hair considering there was a ton of it and she hasn’t been to the groomer in awhile. Our dog doesn’t do great at the groomer and we were nervous about her going - Alisa is incredibly knowledgeable, took her time and made sure our dog was comfortable. Will definitely be coming back!

We're right down the street and she's so intuitive to our dog. He isn't always the biggest fan of the groomers but she is so patient with him. Consistency is key and he's taken so well to her.

I brought my little guy Jaxon over to Lancaster Pet Grooming and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience! I was able to get in quickly and at a time that worked well for me. The groomer is so nice, knowledgeable and efficient. I was nervous at first since Jax hasn’t had a proper grooming since before COVID, but it worked out beautifully. Alisa from Lancaster Per Grooming is an amazing groomer with so much knowledge and expertise. She knows how to work with all types of dogs, from small ones to large ones. Our shiba can get very anxious especially with grooming and she responds so well to Alisa. Every person I've met here has been so kind and loving towards the dogs that come in, and they're great groomers. Our pup always smells amazing for weeks after her grooming and no other groomer has done such a good job de-shedding her. We will be coming back regularly!

Alisa did an amazing job! Other pet grooming places don't cut my Corgis bum or underneath the paws. And they also don't get rid of his fur as much as Alisa has done. Like she goes over the top with her service. Shop is very clean and organized. Pricing is reasonable for what you get, unlike other pet grooming in the area. I 100% recommend going to get your pet groomer by her.

We just moved to the area and needed a new groomer for our two 60 lb dogs. Lancaster Pet Grooming did a great job clipping their nails and shaving their feet. One of my dogs is incredibly reactive to nail clippers, but she felt comfortable here and didn’t react like she normally does. Thank you! Absolutely pleased. My pup, Charlie, is a neurotic mess most of the time and they handled her perfectly for her first groom there. She got a wash and tidy and her haircut is exactly what I wanted. Very reasonable prices for great service. I will definitely bring my pup back!
