This rating has more to do with customer service than anything else. I have been bringing my dog here for a few years for grooming and they are excellent. I've bought a lot of toys, treats and food there. Very disappointed to have them refuse a refund for a $15 toy that was destroyed in about 5 min by my dog (who has had similar toys for YEARS and hasn't torn them apart). You would think they'd be cool about it with a customer who has given them so much business or at least offered a replacement... nope! I'm attaching a pic of the new toy so people know not to buy. Owner should remove this brand from the store instead of selling poor quality products- it reflects on your business!

We absolutely LOVE Keystone Pet Place. My family and I recently moved to Lancaster County and we were in search of a small local pet business to support. We are so excited that we discovered Keystone Pet Place!!! First and foremost the staff and service are top notch. Everyone is so kind and personable. We scheduled a full grooming appointment for our Malshi, Snuggs. Riley our groomer took her time getting to know us and was so thorough as she reviewed the store’s procedures and policies with grooming. Snuggs did wonderfully at his first appointment and transitioned so well to his new stylist. We know he’s going to be so excited for his next day out at the “puppy spa”.Malshi’s have a somewhat thick coat and require grooming at least every 6-7 weeks. I can only imagine the patience and focus it takes to cut this type of breed and no doubt Riley did such an AMAZING job.You’ll also find that Keystone Pet Place has such a wide variety of heathy pet foods and treats for various types of animals/pets. Right now…we only have a dog but I’m sure that will change sometime in the near future and we know exactly where to go to meet our future petneeds. Speaking of needs, you’ll also discover that this store has a huge variety of doggie toys and treats for any and all occasions. We were sure to stop here for Christmas gifts for Snuggs and of course all of his puppy cousins. And apparently by the Grace of God and as shown in the 2nd picture, Snuggs made it on the “Nice List” this year!!! He’s incredibly cute and sweet but quite mischievous but nonetheless it appears that Santa made a stop at Keystone Pet Place as well, lucky little guy 🎁🐶🎅🏻. In conclusion, we highly recommend checking out Keystone Pet Place, you’ll find that this local business has owners and staff that have such caring hearts and it is quite evident that they truly care about all animals big and small ❤️.

They take such great care of our pups. Huskies are not the easiest dogs to groom and they exceed our expectations every time. Can’t recommend them enough!

I love this store! The owner recommended a food for Chocko, finally after 3 brands, I finally got weight off of him! Great staff and all very help full! Great selection of food!

They carry some of the better quality pet foods I've seen around. They guarantee the food so if your pet does not like or has a reaction to the food, bring it back for a no questions asked refund. I also found out some of the brands offer loyalty discounts (buy x amount get one free.)I went in several times and picked the brains of the employees working there about the right food for my pet. They were incredibly knowledgeable in the nutrition of each brand and on separate occasions recommended either the same or very similar offering in terms of what seemed best for my pet's needs.I highly recommend a visit and conversation. They are great at answering questions.

Our new dog Arthur has been difficult to groom. Some groomers won't take a sedated dog. We've been trying to do it ourselves and well, you can guess how that went. Keystone Pet Place will groom a sedated dog and they did a fantastic job. He was matted and shaggy. They got the mats out, and trimmed his face. He had lost a eye before we got him, and he didn't like the grooming around his face. Keystone trimmed up his face. They even booked him for the last appt for the day, so he wouldn't be overstimulated by other dogs. They are professionals. Arthur now has looks like the King he thinks he is.

This is a rating based on grooming room. The pet store is great with lots of products and they sell the healthier brands of dog foods. If you don't see what you're looking for they'll order it for you.The grooming room, Geri's is another story. Took my dogs there and at first glance on picking them up, they looked ok but their hair wasn't as short as I usually get but thought, that's ok I'll have them cut it shorter next time. After getting home and on closer inspection realized they didn't trim around pads of feet or the hair on feet for that matter. They didn't do the sanitary cut on my female at all and I could tell she was either not bathed or not very well. Instead of getting a clean dog with a cut that usually last 6 weeks, it only lasted three. Not worth giving them another chance. Found somewhere else. They did it cheaper and a much better job.

This shop has tons of unique toys and food choices for animals. My cat loves food i get from there that i can only find in this shop. They also have a grooming salon in the back and i thought that was so convenient because i could look for items for my pet but also get him trimmed and what not. I recommend this shop for one-stop-shopping for everything pet and for unique items to wow any pet owner.

For a smaller pet store you can still find a little something of everything. The staff are obviously pet lovers and very helpful, knowledgeable in their products, and very friendly
