Checked in and out in less than an hour. Friendly staff. They prefer you not wait in your truck while unloading. But that doesn’t take long. Getting in and out is best using the main entrance and done before the parking lot begins to fill up, especially if you’re using a sleeper to pull a 53’ van. There is a bathroom inside. I overnight here if possible. The nearby alternatives otherwise are slim.

It's a Costco! Every Costco is more or less the same. Some others have more Asian or ethnic foods and some others seem to have more home improvement stuff.I'm barely in the Lancaster area so seeing a horse and buggy was a cool sight to see especially at Costco.

This is the best Costco I’ve been to hands down. I had found a really great coat in my town that was a GREAT price. Well, the coat ended up being too big. Went to another location to see if they had my size, which they did, but the manager said “there’s no way in hell I can honor that other price.” What manager talks to a customer like that? Finally drove out to this one in Lancaster (i really wanted this coat). Linda, in clothing, would not give up til she found my size. However my size ended up being in a big box above the cereal aisle. The manager Glenn could not get it down for me in that moment, but got it down for me the next day, called me to let me know, put it on hold til I could come grab it AND honored the price I originally paid. THANK YOU LINDA AND GLEN! You guys went above and beyond and it didn’t go unnoticed.

I wish there was an option for Zero Stars!! Everytime my wife and I go to this particular Costco we have an issue. Lines are always long, and store associates are always rude and not helpful. Today was the last straw for us shopping at this particular Costco in Lancaster, PA. Most likely when our membership expires we will spend the extra time and money traveling to our closest Sam's Club which is an extra 20 minutes where our shopping experience is appreciated. Back to my experience today...As my wife and I were placing our items on the belt to pay for them I pulled out my phone (because it is 2024 and there is an app for everything) and showed the cashier the membership card QR code to scan. She then asked if I was on the account and I stated I don't believe so and she said I will need to see your membership card. I then said I don't have a separate one and she continued scanning our items no big deal. I then still had my phone out and decided I would tap to pay with my phone. As I tapped with my phone to pay with my wife's debit card, the cashier then stated to me that I am not allowed to pay unless I showed her my Costco membership card. I said it is my wife's debit card and she said it doesn't matter, my wife had to pay. So you mean to tell me my wife has to tap my phone? What difference does it make who swipes card or taps a phone to pay? They are still getting paid. I realize policies are policies but this is a pretty dumb one and it's not like my wife wasn't with me, she was standing right next to me. If that is the policy the cashier could have been a bit nicer to explain the policy since I am the paying customer. She also could have mentioned this when scanning my membership card and realized I was not the card holder before she wastes my time and scanned all my groceries.

Excellent bakery department and snack bar. During regular business hours you'll encounter long lines like 8 carts deep at every register. Very long process everytime we get propane tank filled for our gas grill: 1. place propane tank at the station, 2. Go back insI ie to tires you want propane and a few min later out comes one of the mechanics 3. Wait for them to fill it. 4. Wait for receipt. 5. Put your propane tank back in your vehicle. 6. Walk back to store to pay

I love Costco but not this location, parking lot too small and the store itself has to be one of the smaller footprints that Costco has across the US. Lines for the self checkout quickly run up the aisle and things just feel very tight and compact.

Large selection of name brand and store brand goods. Large bakery section and great deals on meats. They also have prepared dishes like Shepards pie and salmon which we love also. We go there about once a month.

So we had always considered joining Costco and I now regret that we did not join sooner. The coolest part about it honestly is the snack bar and its affordability. Free samples are a thing here around the store. If you have never checked out a Costco I highly recommend it!

Bit busy for my taste, all the lines are very long. There is a lot of accessible parking, but it is still always full each time I have been, and the spots nearby are also always full, so you might need to park pretty far away and it can be hard if you use a mobility aid to navigate the busy parking lot.

I used to love Costco. Today was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I was spoke to very rudely by the attendant. I was looking for assistance on how to redeem my gift certificate at check out. She pointed at the snack place while walking away. Seriously give me the 30 seconds I needed to assist me. I drive past a bJs and a Sam’s Club to get here and choose to pay for my executive membership and have the credit card. I don’t think after today’s experience I will be renewing my membership. Funny thing is the certificate says simply redeem at the checkout. Well today the employee was not trying to assist with this.

Always busy and I think the best meat department. Being a outdoor smoker of meats I have yet to find anyone to compare to there quality and prices. Love walking around their store, you never know, found a pair of Levi's for $12. I am into that.

I have been a big fan of costco till this evening. Was treated very poorly when I went to customer service for being charged improperly. Clearly had a sign over the item in question but said it was a different item when they wrang it up and I need to read signs more carefully! While not only being rude I expect costco to not bait and switch with signs, that's what crooked outfits do. This is awful business and I'll take mine somewhere else

I just joined Costco after a 8 year hiatus. I definitely missed this place. It is the best place to buy quality bulk items like cereal, yogurt and meat. There are many other great bulk items that are name brand. I got air born vitamin C cold medicine. I got 2 tubes which contain 22 disks. The checkout team is very friendly and professional. It was very crowded today. Prices are certainly higher.

Had a set of tires installed. I purchased them through Costco online and made an appointment for the installation. Effortless transaction and excellent service at the warehouse. Highly recommended. $300 cheaper than the dealer.

Recently visited from out of town and attempted to pay for my 83yo mothers groceries, as she is on a fixed income. She has a membership. I do not. Costco refused to accept my payment and insisted I become a member. A little stringent (read greedy) on the membership rules. Went to BJ's Wholesale Club instead. Much more reasonable. After that experience, I will not be joining Costco, and told my mother to cancel her membership. It's a bad day when I can't help my mother at Costco.

This location is a typical Costco. Nothing too exciting or impressive, but having most items needed when visiting. The parking area is something else entirely, too small and too busy. But hey ho, what can you do?... not much, just be patient

This store is so busy all of the time. Way too many people at all times. Parking is a nightmare, pushing a cart through the aisle is difficult, and the lines for the registers are really long. It's never a good shopping experience. Lancaster needs another store .

Never go unless I just happen to be with my one sister who likes the damn place. Most item are not a bargain but the place has a great gimmick going. She was happy at the sign 3lb bananas for $2.19. Sounds cheap enough but the grocery store we were just at bananas were 49 cents a pounds so obviously 3lbs. $1.47. Just on example but not worth it to me for the crowds. So they are smart enough to human nature that if it's a club, even one anyone can belong to, people love that nonsense. Fight a crowd to maybe save a few bucks on somethings while getting boned on another and byh appy as clams. Never underestimate the stupidity of the public.

It’s always packed busy here but I also leave with a mini Costco to take home of my own! I always have a good experience with store associates and never seem to wait to check out very long no matter how many people are in line! Great experience all around with consistency!

At the door checking memberships today yell at my father told him he could not go in since he had my mother's card which he had in error he is a senior and she had no right to speak to anyone that way I don't live there but will be around soon learn to speak to people when u address anyone

Wish there was more than one Costco around Lancaster so it would help lower the amount of people. Costco is great, the amount of people in the parking lot…not so much haha. Get there early to get a good parking spot.

We mostly get lamb and fish from here. Their mac and cheese is bomb. Customer service is great. I wish they'd add an alcohol department, but I get this is Lancaster county. Added a few photos of the finished products, of meat cooked from here.

Going to this Costco is usually a thoroughly unenjoyable experience. It is always crowded, no matter when you go. The design of the store is also terrible. They have placed aisles of goods perpendicular to the registers, which blocks traffic to the registers. Checking out always takes forever. Too bad this is the best place around to get kitty litter and other bulk goods.

Costco for us is worth it. Kirkland tiolet paper is soft and a good value. So is their paper towels. Rotisserie children is great. Excellent warrenty on tvs. They have so many great items at great prices.

Not to be a karen but this costco sucks. Severely understaffed Food court, waiting for an hour when getting pizza, parking lot is disorganized and unsafe, accidents are waiting to happen when pulling in and out of this warehouse.
