Nice place for a drink and a simple meal. The swiss mushroom smash burger was pretty good. The fish & chips were so so (take a pass on that). Beer was cold, and served in the bottle (not a problem). Most food items are served on metal trays, again not a problem. Gift shop on premises.Vegetarian options: There are meat free pasta items on the menu.

I had an amazing time at this restaurant! The Key Lime Conada was absolutely delicious, and the Mushroom Swiss Smashburger was incredibly juicy and flavorful. But the real star of the meal was the New England Clam Chowder; it was absolutely incredible. I highly recommend trying it.What made the evening even more special was the live performance and the incredible sunset. It was definitely worth the wait for the outside table. Great food, great service, and a fantastic atmosphere!

This place was great. There was no wait, and we were able to sit down immediately. The inside lakefront view area is very nice. The food and service were great, and it was very cozy. The only thing I wasn’t too happy about is that a slice of red velvet cake was $9. Although It was delicious, and you could tell it was made with love. I would recommend. We will be back again!

This is a great place to go after hitting the slopes of Jack Frost! You can shave 10 minutes off your arrival by just continuing straight when you’re leaving Jack Frost instead of going left or right. I was excited to see that they had ham and bean soup. I got the chicken avocado sandwich and it was delicious. Overall was able to enjoy a a beer with the football game on, among friends. Has the vibe of a sports bar meets good dining.

Sorry but this place was a complete disappointment, service from the waitress was borderline tolerable as besides taking our order she didn't do much but bring us our bill. I ran out of water half way through my meal and wasn't offered any sort of refill.The food.. oooph.. I ordered the ribs and this was not slow roasted at all... The ribs were so dry, the only thing moist about them is the BBQ Sauce that they slathered all over the top to try and make them edible. These were not fall off your bone ribs but gnaw at the bone and try to get the meat off. The potatoes, I have no idea how they cooked them but they were poorly seasoned and lacked taste. The only good part of my meal was the coleslaw and if they can't get fingerling potatoes right, I highly doubt they made that in house.Had our waitress even checked in, I'd of sent them back as they were that bad. I don't know how they cooked it, but it wasn't slow. Part of me wonders if they put it in the microwave to reheat because of how tough the meat was.Maybe they know how to cook a burger, but when you're getting charged almost $30 for ribs you'd hope you'd have something enjoyable and this was far from enjoyable.

We had a lovely meal and a beautiful view of the lake. Our server Madison was friendly and knowledgeable. We waited about 20 minutes for a table outdoors - but there’s a deck and bar on a lower level by the lake where it’s very nice to wait!The burger and protein bowls we got were great. Watching the boats and geese on the lake made it extra enjoyable.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options!

Sandwiches the night before were fantastic. We go every time we’re in the area (we have even driven an hour and a half (1 way) just to have dinner thereCan’t recommend Nick’s enoughWheelchair accessibility: Yes! My 91 yo mother had no difficulty walking up the ramp (ADA). Plenty of room. They also have a hp restroom!

We were a little disappointed with our experience here. The atmosphere was beautiful, but that was about it. The food was nothing to write home about, and the service was average. When we walked in the main door, we were greeted by a very strong odor of Marijuana. The saving grace was that the view from our table was amazing.The food was another story. While it was average, and wasn't horrible, it did nothing to really stand out. My wife had the Greek omelette, which we are fairly certain was made with powdered eggs. I had the blueberry pancakes, which were alright, but had very few blueberries in them.While the atmosphere was good, I would not recommend the Sunday breakfast here.

We came in after lunch to a 70% empty restaurant. Waited pretty long just to be greeted by a waitress who didn’t want to be there. After ordering some apps and mains, it took way over an hour for any food to show up. And when it did…… my burger bun on top was like a rock, broke like a crispy crouton from just touching it, the lettuce that was not covered by the bun were dry to the point that they would crumble when touched (probably spent most of the hour waiting under the heat lamp). Oh…. None of us got any silverware, what we did get was attitude from (Charlene)the waitress, when I said something about the burger, she decided to just not show up at our table anymore despite us needing at least drink refills.Maybe look for other places around, or if you are the owner/manager, try training for employees.I’m glad we weren’t there when restaurant was busy, we would still be waiting for our food…..

We had such a blast! A must go to. Ample free parking, the food was so good, great service and just great everything. Then a live band set up - so we moved down to the patio, ordered drinks. We danced until the end. Was a super awesome time! Great band, food - everything was perfect. The Lake was active, the restaurant was busy and tons of smiles everywhere. Thanks!!!!

Came here for our last night of vacation and we will be back!! The drinks were amazing, food was even better and the view absolutely gorgeous!! Do not leave this restaurant without ordering pizza, you won’t regret it. I’m assuming they are well known for their freshly made pizzas. And definitely make sure you stay for the sunset views The garlic parm wings, walnut apple salad, clam chowder, tomato Basil 1/2 veggie pizza, and cheesecake were a hit!

Yummy way to end a beautiful bachelor weekend with The Boys! Food only took an hour to come out and when it arrived it was AMAZEBALLS! Definitely won’t be back.They said “eat at Nick’s” and we tried to do that

Food was excellent, the lake view was picturesque.... The service atrocious!!! My server didn't know what came with my meal so I ordered extra and it turned out that my meal already came with it. My food came and no one brought me utensils or a napkin. Had to get up and get my own stuff. My server didn't ask how my meal was or ask if I wanted a juice refill. I've been looking forward to having breakfast there for weeks and am slightly disappointed. Hopefully this is only one bad apple in the basket.

A wonderful experience. The food was great. From the expertly crafted salad, clam chowder with grilled veggies, artisan chicken sandwich, fish and chips and the best chocolate peanut butter dessert. The view of the lake is a great addition to a lovely evening having dinner and drinks while watching boats zip around. To top it off, the staff is friendly and prompt with drinks, food, and conversation. If you're looking for a nice evening for just the right price then stop in for this gem of a restaurant hidden in the hills of the Poconos.

If you want to be overlooking a lake and watch a beautiful sunset while enjoying really good food then this is a nice place to visit. I give it 4 Stars for the food and location but please educate your staff members. I went around 6:30pm on 09/02/18 and the host was really nasty. And then to top it off the waitress we got was not good at all. I don't think she can handle large crowds. Took for ever to bring anything we ordered.Didn't make her rounds to see if we were ok. We waited about half hr if not more just to get our check. She had a problem with another customer who was very verbal & nasty and she just did not handle that well. As we're walking out my waitress is talking to someone about it out in public (which I think this matter should be taken to the back somewhere) and walking out of the place now the host and other employees are talking about it. Again Really Great place but keep it professional.

The service and food were excellent. Had the Stromboli, WOW! It was probably the best I've ever had. That is really saying something since I was born & raised in Philly. Heard the pizza was excellent also will try that next.

We came up here for vacation and our guy we rented from suggested quite of few restaurants. Originally went to shenanigans, 2 gentlemen said go to their other restaurant Nicks lake house (both were on his list to go to) was super busy but everyone was friendly. Met Jade in the gift shop and was very personable. Our waitress was Leslie, she was fabulous, I can crack a joke at a drop of a dime. She accepted every single one and she came back at me with a few. We were very satisfied with the food and all. Hands down Leslie made our night there, my fiancé and I both got BBQ smash burger and man it was amazing

It was our last night in the Poconos and this place was the "cherry on top" of our vacation. Had to wait 20 minutes for a table, but it was worth it. Food was outstanding. Recommend the New England clam chowder and pretzels for appetizers. Lake smashburger was cooked perfectly to order. Service was good, if your glass was empty it was refilled fast. This was on a very busy Saturday night.Parking: Had handicapped parking for my daughter.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp right to the front door.

This experience was horrible. I ordered the French toast with blueberries but was told that the other chef was running late and I couldn't have blueberries. I would have to wait half an hour for them. Why do you need another chef to put a handful or so of blueberries on my French toast? When I got the French toast, it was still wet and soggy and definitely not cooked. The waitress was pleasant about it and returned it to the kitchen and I got properly cooked French toast in return. It was bland tasting and it was only 2 regular pieces of bread. I'm sorry, but if you're going to charge $9 for French toast, you could at least make it thick bread like a Texas toast style. To try to fix the situation, the waitress took the $2.50 coffee off the order, instead of giving us the French toast for free. Because let's be honest, if I would have eaten the raw eggs, I could have gotten sick and that's definitely a health issue.

4.1 star is overrated.Service:Waited 15 min before tabling. 20 min before ordering without being served any water or appetizer. 30 min before food comes. Server had a "meh" attitude but suddenly became super nice when handling the check.Food: Everything besides your main food are raw, uncooked and simply unsavory(Even the diet coke served is not fizzling).Truly wonderful experience at this restaurant.

This is a nice place. Beautiful view. The food was good, although about an hour after I ate, my stomach started churning, and had to run to ladies room! And don’t get me started on the ladies room!! Too small, only two stalls for a large restaurant, and it was like a sauna in there, no AC!! We had a late lunch & wanted to stick around to hear the band. We stayed at our table to drink and they made us move to the lower deck. We were a little upset with that, but understood. But the lower deck had no shade whatsoever!! We had to sit in the blaring sun! Put some umbrellas at the tables for goodness sake!!! And we were highly disappointed when the band FINALLY started, not good!!! So we wasted an afternoon of sitting in hot sun for nothing!! I don’t know if our friends will go again, but I do know that my husband & I will not be returning.
