Nice scenery and staff. Quiet little place on the lake. Small fridge in room, cups, little coffee bar. Ice chest, gas grill, gazebo, microwave, and coffee station on the premises. Nice place to go when you want to really let loose and go to "poundtown," but can't at home. Oh.....there's plenty of places to eat and shop, too. Gotta balance the poundtown, with eating and shopping.

I booked three nights at this inn because of the reviews. Have to say it did not disappoint. The location is beautiful and absolutely stunning. Everything that is "a must" is within walking distance! Piggys, Terra Cottage Cafe, Shenanigans and Nicks. (Also Hog Heaven in summer). Louies Prime Steakhouse and Boulder View Tavern are all 5 minute drives or less! Wawa is perhaps 15 minutes down the road and Jim Thorpe, Hickory Run park and Snake/Reptile Farm are 30 min drives. The staff are not on property 24/7 but are responsive and very, very accommodating. My first night didn't start out good at all, my neighbors next to me were very loud, rude, and blasting music from the time I checked in at 8pm until around 3 in the morning. I was awoken due to the noise, and immediately contacted the service number to switch rooms for the rest of the stay. I received a text within 5 minutes giving me permission to switch. I definitely enjoyed the second room I was moved to, room #1. (Only one neighbor!) Double beds, better blinds than what were in my original room #4, and it smelled better. Heating controls worked perfectly throughout my stay. Barn doors have replaced traditional doors for the bathrooms which look very modern. Shower heads and toilet roll holders can use an update. The addition of microwaves and a safe in each room could make it just a tad better (maybe some cabinets for clothing and toiletries too as the sink sits out in the open along the rear side wall by the bed.) A little bit of dust on the barn door for the bathroom should not have been overlooked while cleaning but overall a very well kept room. There are tables and chairs set up outside of each room, so if you would like to sit down and eat leftovers, you would have to do so outside. (Not very fun in December) or on your bed, also not fun. However the rooms are just big enough to fit one or two beds, an end table, mirror table, 1 chair, and tv stand. Coffee pot should be put on mirror table. Making coffee next to where I brush my teeth and wash my hands after using restroom does not sound appealing. The "ice cooler" which is provided in every room does not really make sense to me. Not everyone drinks alchohol that needs to be chilled in a cooler. I would have appreciated SO much more if complimentary water bottles were provided, that or a food and drink vending machine. I had to stop up and get some water at a market before I drove back to my room. Overall I think this is a killer getaway if you are a solo traveler for the price and absolutely will be returning.

Really wanted to love this place. So much that I’ve tried staying here twice. It has incredible charm and character from the outside. Surrounded by gorgeous scenery and quant small businesses within walking distance. It all goes downhill on the inside suites, however. I was hoping my first time was just a one-off occurrence. This second time I couldn’t ignore the lack of pride in the property. Omitting details of my first stay in favor of this one …Broken toilet seats. One travel soap bar and one travel shampoo. Towels sized for toddlers. Slimy water. All TVs broken. Couches cracked and peeled. Temperature control stuck above 80 degrees. The list goes on and on and on.If you’re charging premium prices for folks to stay, you can keep up with the maintenance associated with running an inn. The only part that’s nice is the outside, and if I’m being honest even that could be kept better.

I needed to get away for a couple of days. Initially I chose this location because I could bring my dog and was pleasantly surprised. It's no 5 star hotel; rooms are basic BUT the location is beautiful and there are many water activities. Restaurants are close and very good not matter what you are up for. Highly enjoyed my short getaway. I saw many families fishing and boating so I'd recommend for a family getaway. The highlight was watching the sunset with no distraction.

Rob and Morgan continue to be the best hosts we've experienced on vacation. We love to stay in the "Tiny House" - a sweet 2 bedroom house by the water with full kitchen and 2 baths. We usually stay for ~4 days and it's so nice to be able to prep food in the house. Also, with 2 rooms, our son sleeps soundly in his own space. Rob and Morgan take great care of their guests, including finding and shipping my necklace back to me after we left! Can't say enough great things about them and the facilities, looking forward to coming back next year for our annual trip.

Great old place to rest your head. I prefer it instead of the overwhelming mega resorts. You come and go as you please and it's right in the middle of everythingRooms: Small, functional.Nearby activities: Piggys is right across the street and the Lake House is right across the lake. Both are great. Skiing in winter. Lake activities in summer.Walkability: You could walk or bike to almost everything you need. Car in winter due to snow covered roads.

This place is amazing!!! I appreciate the check-in process. It’s just a text to the owner, and they unlock the door for you electronically No hassle waiting in lines and dealing with staff. The beds are so comfortable and the rooms are updated and spacious. This Inn is literally right on the lake… it’s perfect! Any issue you have can be solved with a text to the owner and they are quick to respond and follow up. The one downside is the Wi-Fi is really spotty, but other than that.. this place is heaven in the poconos! We originally had plans to stay at Split Rock Resort; however, we read reviews of bed bugs and awful service so we had to choose another place last minute. I’m glad we chose here. They exceeded all expectations!!

We initially booked our 3 night stay at Lake Harmony Inn because it was the best price that we could find in the area. Our expectation was that the room would be a little dated but reading the other reviews we were sure that it would be fine because unlike some other places no one had complained about the bed itself. Imagine our surprise when we walked into the room and it had clearly been recently redone with a rustic but modern décor. The handmade quilt lent the room a warm and homey type of charm that we greatly appreciated. The amenities themselves were also up to date, featuring a modest flat screen television, small mini fridge, communal outdoor fire pit, and lovely view of the lake. In easy walking distance (no more than 2 minutes) are 3 lovely restaurants that we very much enjoyed during out stay. Piggy's, Nick's, and Terra Cottage all have their own distinct charm and delicious food. Our only issue with the room was that we initially had problems with our electronics being unable to stay connected to the Wi-Fi. We assumed that we were just not in a place with a good connection (who goes to the Poconos for the Wi-Fi anyway?) but we discovered that the TP Link router in our room had been somehow disconnected and once we reconnected and reset it, our internet was fast enough to stream 1080p video in the room.Overall we enjoyed our stay a lot and would 100% stay again.

I proposed to my wife at Lake Harmony Inn seven years ago. The rooms are updated and continue to be updated as time goes on. It pays to book the suites. Rob and Morgan are fantastic owners who clearly care about their establishment. Thank you to Erin for helping my wife and I celebrate our anniversary again at Lake Harmony Inn. We will be returning. It was great seeing Zion again after all these years.

A hidden gem in the western Poconos. Checkin is virtual but responsive. Our rooms are small but cozy and clean. Shower fixtures were a bit loose but completely functional. Grounds were well-kept, with lots of seating and tables. Get some carryout and eat picnic-style with awesome sunsets. Gameroom with table games and cornhole, and access to watersports and kayak rentals. Wallkable breakfast spots and pubs nearby. Guests and local staff were very friendly. Would definitely return.

Absolutely loved our stay at Lake harmony Inn! The room was all cleaned and everything was in place. Would recommend this place for couples. A romantic gateway for couples. It is beside lake harmony and the view is really good.. even the restaurants are nearby so you don't have to search far for food options. Plus if you show their reservation to places such as Piggys, Tera cottage and Nicks they will give you 10 percent discount. Good service and great experience!

The whole stay was very comfortable and overall super great. The hosts were very accommodating, nice, and welcoming. The side of the lake that this inn is on is definitely the better side of the lake... It was so peaceful (which is hard for a lot of people to find these days) and seemed safe. The room was super clean and smelled good (except the AC, which smelled a little musty). The beds were very comfortable, and it was nice that there was a TV in there, along with Wi-Fi. The only downside is that there is not much face-to-face interaction with the hosts.. I only met Rob briefly but never saw Morgan. That's pretty much the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Luckily, we weren't in need of face to face interaction because no emergencies or any immediate needs for anything. I just wanted to add that, in case some people prefer someone at the front desk. Other than that, though, everything was very nice, clean, and comfy. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to actually get away, and have peace.

The accommodations themselves are lovely. It's a clean, quiet place. That being said, I don't recommend you come 1. During the week(most things are closed), 2. With the expectations of swimming(nowhere we can find to swim) 3. Without a boat of your own or very deep pockets. I have 3 very bored, very disappointed children right now and if I could get a refund and go home I would. All we wanted on this trip was a nice boat ride, a place to go fishing...but we aren't going to pay $400 an hour for a motor boat, or $30 per person for non motorized boats when the wake around here is dangerous for the kids to attempt to kayak or canoe in. Overall a very disappointing experience.

Stayed in the penthouse suite of the Inn to celebrate a family friend’s waning bachelorhood and impending nuptials. Our interior accommodations were perfect for our needs, as was the view overlooking the property and lake.Close proximity (aka short walking distance) to every hot eatery/social spot in town, in addition to the lake’s recreational/leisure opportunities. The game room (Ping Pong, Foosball, etc) made for a great post-dinner activity with our crew as well, as did the volleyball court when we were looking to get some exercise in pre-dinner.Whether your seeking a private romantic getaway, group reunion, or family bonding experience you’d be hard pressed to find another spot that checks off all the essential boxes like the Lake Harmony Inn.

Had a great 2 night stay here for the 4th of July. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable for 2 people plus a dog. The staff was very nice and seemed on top of any upkeep. With in steps of the inn were 3 different restaurants, an ice cream shop, and the lake front. The lakefront lawn is in perfect view of the fireworks, and is where you can rent kayaks, paddleboards etc...it also had various types of chairs, fire rings, and benches already set up. I believe you had to be staying at the inn to use them so it was never over crowded. The live music at the nearby restaurant Nicks lakehouse, was a perfect back drop and not intrusive. Lake Harmony Inn is a great little place for a simple, relaxing, and fun getaway.

Decided to stay in this cute little hotel because of other good reviews and since the price/night was unbeatable for the area. Glad we chose this place. Super cute location, very clean and nice looking rooms, hot and cold water in the shower runs well, coffee, fridge available in the room. From what we saw, it was pet friendly which is def a plus for our next stay.

I cannot recommend. This is a motel and not an Inn. The beds are uncomfortable and need replacement. Pillows are not good, bring your own if you decide to stay. The AC units are so loud could not sleep with them on. Could not sleep for 2 days with the parking lot light shining into the room. I complained and nothing was done about it. Towels are rough and poor quality. Had ants. Coffee makers in the office don't work. The only place to stay that is lakeside unless you rent a house. Limited lakeside activities since the lakes in the area are all Private. Local restaurants are good, but very expensive. Poconos way over rated. Photos on line are misleading. Very disappointed.

Did not stay at this place, instead I stayed across the street in a airbn room that uses Harmony's name. The room was ok, but it had a dirty beige carpet with stains, not well maintained, parking spot was on dirt, so when it rains your shoes gets all muddy if you know what I mean, when you enter the room like that. I took my shoes off, but I know most people won't do that. I won't b coming back.

Our rather large annual family gatherings have kept coming back to Lake Harmony Inn for many years. Morgan and Rob are the best hosts, welcoming us and giving that extra personal touch to ensure that we all get our vacation needs and wishes met, from the very young to the more mature (but young at heart). From the cleanliness to the easily accessible water skiing and tubing to kayaking to relaxing on the lounge chairs on the waterfront, to eating meals on the outdoor tables to great nearby hiking trails, we love coming to this place. We even sing songs by a campfire, bringing back memories from long ago.
