I’ve been going to this place for years and love it! The food is always good and the staff are always friendly. My orders are always correct and the atmosphere is very cute. A nice little hole in the wall gem. I also LOVE their monthly specialty drinks. Whoever is in charge of making that menu is very creative! Only downside is it’s gotten pretty expensive over the years (but understandable cause that’s everything these days). Either way I’m glad to see Covid didn’t take this place out. I always recommend it to friends and family!

Absolutely love the bagel bar. Quality of food, cleanliness, coffee, and customer service is excellent. Highly recommend to anyone in the area or anyone passing by.The only opportunity the cafe has is full filling orders accurately. I order the same thing every Saturday. 2 sausage Pattie’s and cheese on French toast bagels. Roughly 40% of the time, the sandwiches are missing a patty, or have egg on them. Not a big deal, but disappointing when returning home after pickup.

Amazing place! Love the atmosphere and everyone was super friendly. I got a sun dried tomato bagel sandwich with egg, sausage and cheese and it was amazing. Also got a caramel mocha which was ok. It was my first time here and I’m definitely coming back 😊

Absolutely amazing! Great bagels and coffee. Fantastic service too! Serves a variety of specialty coffee and an assortment of bagels. Very creative and great tasting bagels too. I recommend the pink flamingo, the Asiago bagel with anything, and the buffalo chicken for lunch.

This place is nasty. I genuinely was in shock with the amount of flies in the dining area and the bathroom. The bathroom genuinely smelled from the dining area too. I gave it another try a couple months ago and one of the workers who served me was genuinely intoxicated. The owner is also not very kind to his workers and we have heard slurs and other derogatory, inappropriate talk coming from the counter multiple times. Genuinely don't recommend.UPDATE: The owner seems to think this was a faulty review. It's not... I was an ex employee and I repeatedly brought up these issues to him. I'm assuming Christine or Jimmy is the one responding while working there.. I'm sure you've had lots of nice reviews in the past because the food is somewhat edible (although it's all microwaved and unsanitary because they have been yelled at by the health inspector before for not bleaching their cutting boards) but that's only because it's from Weis. And, "I should have asked the manager" but I literally worked there for months, was close friends with many of the other coworkers, hung out with them outside of work, and experienced it first hand. Not every review is positive for a reason, take this as a learning experience :)PS. the employees are all paid under the table and we make like $8 an hour. So when you're paying $10 for your burnt Weis croissant sandwich, remember that. They use the same cloths to clean the microwaves as they use to clean countertops, indoor/outdoor dining areas, AND the microwaves. All of the rags were then thrown into a bucket of bleach in the same sink used to wash dishes. the cloths were rarely replaced and were then also used to dry clean dishes. Jim was so cheap that the kitchen and staff area got so hot in the summer to the point where the employees were feeling ill from the heat. But then he refused to even let us keep the back door open to let cool air in because it is "letting the ac out."

Cutest cafe! The food and coffees are amazing and the service was fast. We ordered online and they texted us when it was ready. We could easily do curbside but went inside the check the place out and it is an adorable atmosphere. Everyone was very friendly and the prices are very fair. Will definitely be ordering again because the online website makes the process really easy and convenient.Parking: Free street parking! It’s best to park on the side street and walk to the front of the block.Kid-friendliness: They do have high chairs available for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is not wheelchair accessible.

A cool little bagel bar with many selections of bagels and sandwiches. The coffee, espresso, cappuccino and teas are all very good. Limited seating, but I think that adds to the atmosphere. Top rate staff that is friendly and eager to please.

Welcome back Bagel Bar! The Pink Flamingo bagel sandwich is delicious. I had a Hot Café Mocha to compliment it and it was so chocolatey that I mistook it for my partner's Hot Chocolate Steamer. Has lovely outdoor seating options. Make sure to order ahead and use your rewards points on the Joe app!

Yummy coffee, yummy sandwiches, great variety of bagels and cream cheese! Love the Flamingo (strawberry cream cheese on a breakfast bagel). My iced coffee was a bit watered down today, but any other time I’ve ordered here I haven’t been disappointed. Not sure if it’s possible, but adding more electrical plugs or extensions to plugs would be wonderful for young professionals looking for a place to work in a relaxing environment. I enjoy the space for my computer work, and I know others would too!!

Great place to go for coffee in Kutztown. Trendy, hip, great atmosphere, delicious food, kind staff. Monthly specials are the best way to find your new favorite drink.

There's nothing here that surprises you. There's nothing here to blow you away. You want a reliable, approachable place to enjoy your morning treat in the heart of Kutztown. That's Bagel Bar.The food earns my three star rating. You don't come here for the food. Maybe you strike up a conversation with a staff member about an upcoming event. Maybe a friend walks in. Maybe you need a break. Think of Bagel Bar as a lounge with food instead of a restaurant with a sitting area. That's how I came to appreciate this place. I'm sure you will too.I recommend you keep it simple with your order.A breakfast sandwich is fine.A bagel is yummy.A black coffee with a bit of cream never hurt nobody. For undergraduates, this restaurant is better than anything south dining hall serves for breakfast. I know I know, meal plan. Just give bagel bar a shot one morning. It's a great walk from campus and you'll meet some new folks along the way.

I haven't been to the Bagel Bar in several years. I have enjoyed the Bagel Bar in the past and always had positive experiences. Unfortunately today was different and, hopefully, not reflective of a change for the worse. The counter person didn't seem to know the menu or pricing and perhaps was new. I wanted to add chips to my order, but they no longer have bags of chips and I was told that chips would be an additional $2.99. When my sandwich arrived, it was incorrect. The order was corrected, but the wait was awkward since I was having lunch with a friend. Finally, both tables we attempted to sit at were dirty. There were multiple workers present and only a few customers, but they were not attending to the tables..or floor around the tables. I hope this was just an 'off' day- or new staff.

this place is super swag. jimmy is charismatic (i guess). lex is the lebron james of making drinks. devan and kylie chef it up. you can sit in here comfortably and listen to music, play pokemon go, study, or read. the drinks are fire and so are the bagels. be aware of making friends with the staff though, they will laugh at you mid sandwich bite when the parasocial relationship becomes social.Dietary restrictions: pretty great vegan options (not that i would know 🐖)Kid-friendliness: the decor is super cute and there are tons of sweets to satisfy the little ones.

I took an hour long drive to experience the bagel bar after hearing about it via a podcast. I was BLOWN AWAY at the courtesy, excellent service (With a smile), a phenomenal selection of bagels, cream cheeses and of course - COFFEE!!! I picked up a half pound of Jamaican Me Crazy (My personal favorite).Their patio was a great area to sit and enjoy my bagel and coffee. The murals are Gorgeous. If you love coffee, bagels, and service with a smile, this is the place you need to experience for yourself. Any time I have a weekend afternoon available and am craving coffee, The Bagel Bar Cafe is where I’ll be going.

This place has the best bagels in the area and the coffee is top tier! My only complaint is the lack of indoor seating.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options

Nothing to complain about. Amazing music, decent prices, great atmosphere, and great food and drink. I've been here a few times now, and the most recent was with a friend who was visiting from a few hours away. I got the seasonal Bluebell chai latte and the NY lox sandwich on an everything bagel, my friend got a regular chai latte, a blueberry bagel with strawberry cream cheese, and some blueberry chai flavored macarons, and my husband had a mocha latte and a chicken salad sandwich on an asiago bagel. Everything was fantastic. I had never gotten the macarons here, but they were beyond my expectations. Since I work just next door, I'm going to install their ordering app so that I can grab a coffee before a long shift.Kid-friendliness: There were cookies, muffins, and other baked goods, there was frozen hot chocolate, a Shrek-themed drink, smoothies, and other kid-friendly drinks, and a kid could order just a bagel with cream cheese. Lots of options for kids!

Bagel bar is by far the best breakfast stop in town for a breakfast sandwich in my opinion. With that they have their pros and cons. The pros outweigh the cons 99% of the time. The bagels and sandwiches are always incredibly fresh and delicious. The coffee can often be very good and the specials are always worth checking out. Sometimes due to their very good food they also can have a very long wait / sold out items. It can be a disappointment However when on point everything is amazing!

I've ordered from here multiple times before the pandemic, everything was great. Now, must order online or outside in the alleyway. Pick up order outside then you can go inside to eat, but you can't have any contact with the kitchen. If you need something like coffee cream, must go back outside and wait among confused line of people and hope someone comes to the window. Super patron-unfriendly, we've had it and not coming back.Ordered a bacon, egg & cheese with avocado..instead of giving us a ripe avocado, it was a nasty blended mixture.Edit: thanks for your reply, glad to hear you are open again. We were there on October 8th at 11:02 a.m. The receipt number was 1325-4529. That day the counter was not open. The avocado was real but was too hard to be eaten, should be softer before serving in our opinion.

Came in from out of town and saw this was open while other places only opened at 11. Food and drinks were great but you have to order online even if someone is just hanging out at the pickup window. After going through a whole system online of picking items, entering payment info, having to sign up for text messages, giving your location data, it was a very inconvenient experience. Also defaults paying a tip but there are no servers, so be aware. May be nice if you live in town or spend the time to research the place before showing up. If other places were open where I could simply order, I would 100% prefer that. Got my sandwich and the bottom bagel wasnt cut through, so i had to tear the sandwich in half. Three stars for unique food options and a reasonable wait for getting food served.

Edit: I had to change my review from a 2⭐ to a 4 because of the response from the owner. The response was extremely professional, and criticism was handled quite well. I left my previous review up because I have not gone back, however, I am appreciative of the reach out.Well, disappointed is the only way to describe it. It was my first time going there, and I thought that because it's a 'bagel bar' everything would be fresh. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on an onion bagel, and got half onion/ half everything. It doesn't seem bagels are made fresh, they're pretty small.. egg is definitely not cooked fresh, it's like dunkin donuts, and the bacon was almost non-existent. Also, you have to pre-order before going there. Because it was my first time there, I was told they can take my order at the window. You have to go around back to get the food, and can go inside through the front if you want to sit inside. All a bit much for my first experience.

Ordered on the phone for pickup.. all went well with order. However I have never had a bagel worse then this. I read the reviews and this place was given over 4 out of 5. The bagel was hard and seemed to be a few days old. Never go there again!
